Chapter 774: Chapter 774: The Plan of the Han Family

“Gu Feng, are you okay?”

Luo Shilian asked sowhat nervously, as it was soon her turn to go inside for treatnt.

The B City Base was probably really short of healers, but when Gao Zhenzhen and her companions arrived here full of expectations, they were taken directly to the Han Family by Zhang Mingxu and another person.

On the second day after they settled in, they were assigned various treatnt tasks.

The four of them were no different from the other healers of the Han Family, with each of them confined to a small treatnt room every day to provide non-stop treatnts to those coming in. What they found most difficult to adapt to was that even after completing their daily treatnt tasks, they were required to provide additional treatnt to the “VIP” ntioned by Zhang Mingxu.

This “VIP” had no visible wounds; they only knew he was ill, with the illness located in his liver, and it was their responsibility to use the remaining Healing Art to comb through and treat his body over and over.

Luo Shilian had also heard that sotis, when his mood was bad, it was very likely that a Special Ability User whose Special Ability was exhausted would be forced to continue treating him non-stop, even resulting in the death of so healers during their treatnts.

Seeing Gu Feng in such a state today, a shiver ran through Luo Shilian’s heart.

They regretted it, regretting it by the second day after they arrived.

The healers here were like machines with no freedom at all, condemned to provide treatnts non-stop every day. Even the three als they used to have at the S City Base had been reduced to two simple als a day here.

But they couldn’t escape because not only were they unfamiliar with the place, but there were also guards everywhere, and even taking a walk in the yard ant being watched…

In the beginning, they could only resent Gao Zhenzhen, but after seeing her being carried back to the dormitory unconscious several tis, the three of them understood one thing: resenting Gao Zhenzhen was useless, they could only accept reality.

“Where’s the next healer? Why are they so slow!”

A roar ca from inside, almost causing Luo Shilian to cry out, but she had no choice but to timidly walk in.

“Master of the house, don’t be angry, otherwise all the healing we just did will go to waste,”

Luo Shilian looked up at the person who spoke; it was Zhang Mingxu, the one who lured them here with promises of a bright future.

“What are you dazing about for? Hurry up!”

Zhang Mingxu turned hostile and shouted at her directly.

Another wave of panic surged through Luo Shilian, and she hurriedly began to apply Healing Art, focusing on the treatnt. She had already treated fifteen Special Ability Users today, and now her remaining Special Ability power wasn’t much.

How she missed the Base Hospital in S City, and Director Lin there. Luo Shilian bowed her head and continued the treatnt, holding back the tears that threatened to fall from the corner of her eyes.

If she could return, she would definitely work hard at the hospital. She would rather continue to be indecisive, continue to live a happy life being mocked by her roommates, but does she still have a day to return…

Han Wan once again sought out Han Yue, asking to borrow people from him.

“The people you gave before are no good. It took a great deal of effort to get soone to send a ssage back, only to find out that Lian Jiyue and his son are no longer at the S City Base. Now that we have information about their whereabouts, you have to lend so more people,”

Han Wan said.

All the people sent out in the first batch died on the way, and it took nearly twenty days for news to return from the second batch. Back and forth, more than two months had been spent, only to learn that Lian Jiyue and his son had already left the S City base.

Just as she was feeling depressed, a few days ago soone in E City sent a ssage stating that Lian Jiyue was now at the E City base and had beco the Base Leader there, a fact that had been causing her sleepless nights for several days.

“Aunt, we can’t be concerned with the E City base right now. Your matter will have to wait,”

Han Yue said impatiently to the woman who had barged in. Although this woman was his aunt, he didn’t want to hear any nonsense from her at the mont.

Since Lian Jiyue had severed ties with the Heart Talk Team and even beco the Base Leader at the E City base, it was very likely that he couldn’t influence the Heart Talk Team anymore. This did nothing to aid their next steps in planning.

The Han Family’s resources were almost depleted.

“As far as I know, you have no way to attract that team over here right now. Why not try my thod? You only have two months left, right?”

Han Wan said. She had heard the news that the captain of that team was pregnant, and the Han Family wanted to take action during these two months.

“I will find two people for you in the next few days. You can go back now,”

Han Yue said, rubbing his temples with a headache. Kou Ning’s disappearance had been troubling him for a long ti, leaving him no choice but to fob Han Wan off like this.

The teams sent out daily to search for resources were also returning empty-handed. So the only option they could think of was to target the resources of other families. The Heart Talk Team was at the top of the list. If they failed with the Heart Talk Team, they would have to continue with the Wei Family.

Wang Liang was sowhat conflicted. When he last relayed a ssage to the Heart Talk Team on behalf of the Wei Family, he had forgotten to ntion Lian Jiyue. But now that Lian Jiyue was no longer with the Heart Talk Team, did he need to convey this piece of information?

After much consideration, Wang Liang decided to relay the ssage to the Wei Family first, because he suddenly rembered the performance of the Heart Talk Team along the way. If Su Jin and Lu Hao, given their personalities, learned that Lian Jiyue had encountered any danger or traps, they probably wouldn’t ignore it.

He then started to write down Han Wan’s plan and the fact that the Han Family was targeting the Heart Talk Team, warning them not to co, nor to let Lian Jiyue co over, because it was a trap set by the Han Family.

Wei Junhao almost exploded with anger when he received this ssily written ssage.

“What the hell is the Han Family up to, thinking of targeting Su Jin and Lu Hao?! Do they not want to mix anymore?”

Wei Junhao paced back and forth in the living room, wishing he could lead people to attack the Han Family now. They hadn’t settled the last score with them yet.

“Regardless, we should send the ssage first. We can’t delay this matter. Also, based on your understanding of them, will Lian Jiyue co?”

Wei Yinghao asked, looking at the note that resembled a primary school student’s essay.

“Lian Jiyue doesn’t talk much. I don’t know much about him. I’ve never even heard about his mother’s incident, so I’m not sure,”

Wei Junhao replied with furrowed brows.

“Tell them not to co. If necessary, we can think of sothing from our end,”

Wei Yinghao declared. Regardless, they would wait until Su Jin had given birth, and they could think of ways to delay the Han Family.
