Chapter 639: Chapter 639: Continue Moving Forward

Cai Jianbin just couldn’t understand why Chen Daming and his group insisted on leaving at dusk. In another hour or two it would be dark; why were they in such a hurry?

“It’s fine, we’ll rest in the car at night, and this car has been reinforced,” Su Xiangzhe said, pointing to the sturdy minibus.

“Alright then, take care on the road,”

“Yeah, be careful out there,”

The number of people who ca to see them off was about the sa as when they had arrived five days ago. Everyone repeatedly told them to take care, knowing that A City could be very dangerous at night, not just because of the zombies, but also due to so mutant animals and plants.

“Thank you, everyone. Rest assured, we, Dragon Ruler, will never fear the darkness of the apocalypse. We’ll co back after a while, make sure you all miss us~~,” Lin Xiuyuan shouted as he stood by the moving vehicle, waving his arms vigorously.

“…”

His family was speechless as Lin Xiuyuan had transford into F City’s Long Aotian once again…

They had chosen this ti to depart because they planned to rest in their Space at night. Although they had separate resting rooms in the past few days, they did not dare to stay in the Space for too long. After all, people were next door, and right above and below them. It was more comfortable for them to live among the zombies outside.

“Let’s continue driving for about half an hour, then find a place to rest,” Lu Hao said.

There were still quite a few zombies along the way in A City. It was dark when they had arrived here because they had to clear the road of zombies several tis.

Seeing that Li Xiuying and Lin Yunguo were already looking tired, Lin Tianhui suggested they rest in the Space first. Li Xiuying nodded, knowing that the rest of the family were going to kill zombies, so she took Lin Yunguo into the Space.

However, not long after, Su Jin ca out of the Space.

“Why did you not call to kill zombies?”

Su Jin muttered as she looked out the window. She had been too idle in the Space, having made hundreds of canned fruits until there were no containers left. If it hadn’t been for her grandparents just entering, she wouldn’t have known that the family had left the industrial park.

“We’ve just left as well. If we can find a place free of zombies, we plan to go right in,”

Lu Hao said, ruffling Su Jin’s hair with a smile.

However, Lu Hao’s plan seed difficult to realize, as the number of zombies following the vehicle increased the further they drove, including so speedy zombie animals. Their decomposed fur and flesh no longer gave away what kind of animals they once were.

“It’s better to stop where the zombies are; Xiao Cui can have a feast tonight.”

Because they hadn’t killed many zombies these days, Xiao Cui had been protesting. No wonder Xiao Cui was so excited when they encountered a mutated plant a few days ago.

“Alright then, everybody get ready, I’ll take you to the zombie nest. We won’t have to go down ourselves, your Xiao Cui will take care of it,”

Su Xiangzhe had not expected it to get dark so quickly here. Looking outside at the zombies now, he could only see shadows.

Bang bang bang!

Lin Tianhui closed her eyes as countless zombies seed to erge from everywhere, violently banging on the windows. The terrifying faces were not pleasant to look at in such light.

Su Xiangzhe stopped the vehicle at the side of a road in an alley, then signaled to Su Jin that she could start.

Su Jin nodded, summoned two Man-eating Flowers to the front and back of the vehicle, then followed her family into the Space.

Mao Qiqi and her family of three were already in the Space, and when everyone had entered, they began to share the interesting anecdotes from the base in the past few days.

“So foreigners arrived? Where did they co from?”

Lin Cheng curiously asked, why are there foreigners arriving at this ti?

“They say they’ve co all the way from Y country to find our Heart Talk Team,”

Mao Zhihang told the family all the news he’d heard in the shop.

It turned out that, just a few days after the family went out, a group of severely injured people from Y country had arrived. They claid to have heard of the SS-ranked Heart Talk Team, so they ca to request the team to undertake a mission. However, since the mission location was in Y country, Liang Jiuhui didn’t make any promises to them.

“Wow, we’re famous overseas now?”

Lin Xiuyuan exclaid blissfully, realizing that not all of the Han family’s efforts in B city were in vain; after that ranking thing ca out, it seed everyone took these ranks quite seriously.

“What is ‘overseas’?”

Nie Qing asked, puzzled.

“It ans those movies that you can’t understand; the people in them are all foreigners,”

Lu Guanhai helped to explain.

“Go, go, go, let them wait. After we return, we’ll go together and have a look overseas; I’ve never been there,”

Nie Qing said, excited at the prospect.

“The question is… how did they hear about our Heart Talk Team, and what is the mission content?”

Lu Hao continued, feeling that sothing was odd about the situation.

“I don’t know about that, and they are currently recuperating at the Base Hospital. I heard that there’s a chance that one of them might not make it,”

Mao Zhihang had not seen those individuals himself. What he knew was rely hearsay.

“Then let’s just leave it be for now. We haven’t even finished dealing with the zombies in our own country; I’m not interested in helping another country,”

Su Jin said. Even though her specialty was foreign languages, she always believed that once a person learned a foreign language, they would delve deeply into the culture of the relevant country, including its history. The deeper she looked, the more the past glories shattered, and she firmly felt that her own country was the best.

“Hmm, I agree with Xiao Jin, and besides…”

This month, Lu Hao had no plans to take long-distance missions, let alone travel overseas.

“Tsk, tsk, such a pity, I really wanted to see what zombies look like overseas,”

Nie Qing said, expressing his regret.

“Uncle Nie, I have a Resident Evil movie you can understand. It’s about foreign zombies; you’ll know once I play it for you,”

Lin Xiuyuan rembered that he had downloaded the entire Resident Evil series. Although he had watched them already, he didn’t mind recomnding them to others. In fact, he thought he could even watch them again with Nie Qing.

“Sure, shall we go watch it now?”

There’s such a drama? So things like zombies, did people from the past prophecy them?

Inside the S city base, Liang Jiuhui began to view Sheng Jing, who stood behind him, with newfound respect. It turned out that Sheng Jing knew so many foreign languages and could completely understand what they were discussing, even more fluently than him.

“So how did they find out about the Heart Talk Team na overseas?”

Liang Jiuhui was baffled.

“They said soone told them, and that person was also from Y country. It’s strange, but I don’t think Su Jin and the others will accept the offer,”

Sheng Jing, while gathering docunts, shared her thoughts; she had only just learned that Su Jin was pregnant. Even if Su Jin wouldn’t go, it wouldn’t make sense for Lu Hao to leave her alone and travel so far.
