Chapter 117: Chapter 117 I Give You Ti_1 Chapter 117: Chapter 117 I Give You Ti_1 “As long as I can be your equal, I don’t mind,” Xia Jiehao said firmly, as if he had already made up his mind to do so.

“You are really crazy!” Mrs. Xia pushed him away, turned around, wiped her tears, and bit her lip tightly, feeling a sour sensation in her heart coupled with an indistinct flutter.

Which woman in this world would not be moved by this?

But should she marry him just because she was moved?

Mrs. Xia’s mind was in chaos.

After a while, she seed to make a decision and stamred with embarrassnt, “Can you, can you give so ti to think it over?”

She wasn’t sure if the restlessness in her heart was because she was moved or because she liked him.

She needed to have a serious talk with her heart, to be responsible for her feelings, and not to make hasty decisions.

“Sure! I’ll give you ti, Lanzi!”

Seeing that she didn’t reject him but instead was considering their relationship, Xia Jiehao’s eyebrows rose with delight, his long eyes ford a line as he smiled, his calm and ruggedly handso face beaming with joy.

His lips even revealed a gentle softness like the light of the moon.

Mrs. Xia felt too embarrassed to stay any longer and hastily covered her burning face, fleeing in shy dismay.

,

When Mrs. Cheng saw Mrs. Xia returning, she eagerly pulled her into the house and asked with anticipation, “How did your talk go?”

“Mom, I, I will consider it. Please don’t pressure for now,” Mrs. Xia’s face was so red it looked as though it could drip blood, and she spoke in a voice as faint as a mosquito’s.

“Eh! Good! Very good! Take your ti to consider, I won’t pressure you!” Mrs. Cheng’s wrinkled face imdiately bead with a smile, and she patted her thigh excitedly as if the matter between the two was already settled.

“Mom! Why are you so excited! I can’t stand it!” Mrs. Xia was so embarrassed she almost fainted, quickly rose from the couch, and ran outside, “Mom, I’m taking Bao’er and the others ho first now!”

Mrs. Cheng hastily followed them out, “Lan, won’t you and the children stay here for a while?”

“No, no, we’ll co to stay another ti when we’re free.” Mrs. Xia was too ashad to stay a mont longer.

“Well, okay, be careful on your way back,” Mrs. Cheng followed them to the door, giving all sorts of instructions.

As a mother, she always treated her children like little kids, even though they were already parents themselves.

Mrs. Xia kept nodding in response.

Xia Ningxing and her five brothers looked back and waved to the people standing outside the door, “Goodbye, Grandma, Uncle, Aunt, and Xia,” they called.

“Goodbye, Bao’er, co and play again next ti!” the group exclaid in unison.

“Lanzi, I’m going the sa way as you, let’s go together,” Xia Jiehao said with a smile, walking forward and ruffling the little girl’s hair.

Having a big boss join them was sothing Xia Ningxing wished for!

So, without waiting for Mrs. Xia to object, she tilted her little head and assisted once more, “Great, Uncle Xia will co with us.”

Seeing this, Mrs. Xia had to swallow back her words of refusal and rode the tricycle in silence.

Xia Jiehao drove leisurely behind them, turning on the headlights to illuminate the road ahead for them.

He only left after delivering them to their front door.

Before leaving, he poked his head out of the car window and said, “Bao’er, Lanzi, I’ll co to pick you up on ti on the tenth.”

“Okay!” Xia Ningxing flashed her milky little teeth at him and waved, “Goodbye, Uncle, have a safe journey.”

“Safe travels, Uncle Xia,” her five brothers also called out.

“So well-behaved, your uncle almost doesn’t want to leave,” the man’s head poked out the car window again, his calm, handso face smiling as he also raised his hand to wave at the little girl.

Until the sedan was out of sight, Xia Ningxing still stood there, foolishly looking in the direction Xia Jiehao had left.
