After running for a few minutes, they ca over to another street that looked like a market place. The won around the place were selling fresh vegetables, and food… She hadn’t co across such a street. The place felt a bit unreal.
“Follow behind , step by step…” She didn’t know why, but the place felt like it was a maze, one wrong move and you are done. She didn’t know if she was overthinking but at the mont, it was better to be safe than ss up.
“Yuxi….” Li ili was nervous. This was the first ti she ca across such kind of a situation. Her legs felt heavy, her heart was drumming so heavily, she felt like they could be attacked at any ti out of nowhere.
The place wasn’t as chaotic as the usual market places she had gone into,no rushing, no noises, the place looked too organised. She didn’t want to be too curious and drawn to the place knowing what the other people could be wanting, Ang probably hiding sowhere waiting to attack them.
After a few turns, they got over to the highway, they had just gotten out of the tiny street when they were suddenly attacked by two rcenaries,the guards tackled them while they tried to stop a taxi car but suddenly Third Master Mu’s car showed up stopping at the safe side of the road while more guards tackled the rcenaries and nabbed them before dislocating their jaws. They tied them up and after knocking them out, they packed them away into the boot before the cars drove away.
Zhou Yuxi exhaled loudly as she felt that painful kick she received from that stupid girl! She lightly shook her head smacking her lips in annoyance. This one got her really badly. She could fight, but not with the way she was caught off guard, she had miscalculated and looked down upon her opponent.
They were sitting in the back seat with Third Master Mu, Li ili who had noticed who it was, she hurriedly greeted him respectfully before keeping her gaze away.
“Hello Third Master Mu…” She has known him since young and this wasn’t the first ti she was coming across him.
“Hello…” He greeted back looking at Zhou Yuxi who was ignoring him while she pursed her lips in annoyance
“Yuxi….” He placed the files away as he faced her but Zhou Yuxi pretended like she didn’t hear him calling her. He was flustered and didn’t know how to handle her when she was throwing a tantrum like this.
He forcefully grabbed her waist and dragged her into his arms holding her in place tightly. Zhou Yuxi turned around and gave him a hard glare but at the sa ti, she just couldn’t bear to scold him or hurt him. She didn’t know why but her heart couldn’t withstand seeing him sad.
