Chapter 643: Chapter 643: An Accidentally Exposed Lie

Aside from the principal, there were also several school leaders present.

The investor occasionally turned his head to listen to the translator, his expression brimming with satisfaction.

Before long, the principal led the group to Tang Li and her classmates’ classroom, walked up to the podium, and said into the microphone: “Please allow to interrupt for a few monts. Today, an Arican businessman has co to our school. He plans to produce a movie and intends to offer the lead female role to soone from our school.”

The rumors on the forum were confird, setting all the students present abuzz.

Yu Sui held Tang Li’s wrist and whispered: “Look, it’s true, the principal is personally involved!”

“Many of you are second-year drama students,” the principal’s voice ca again. “You haven’t taken any professional courses yet, but I believe that opportunities should be equal for everyone. Not just you, students from other majors or freshn can also sign up for the audition!”

This announcent was t with continued cheers from the crowd.

The principal glanced at Tang Li’s seat, and, when no one was looking, winked at her.

“…Tang Li.”

Jiang Yiniing, sitting in the third row, clasped her hands together in front of her, slowly tightening her grip. Her heart was far from calm, her gaze upon the middle-aged investor fervent.

Even though it wasn’t Hollywood, for her, securing a role in this movie could mark a significant turning point in her acting career.

Once the film was released, she would carry the label of an international movie star.

By then, her fa and value were sure to skyrocket.

Although she currently had good resources, they paled in comparison to Tang Li’s. With “Legend of the Koi” only set to release next sumr, and the web drama she was recently cast in as the lead actress having a slim chance to make her an overnight success—plus… the “best friend” incident on the V-blog had slightly tarnished her public favorability.

Under these circumstances, if she could establish a foothold in the international cinema scene, past blemishes wouldn’t matter. There would be investors ready to offer her pri roles!

Ascending to the A-list seed within reach!

Unlike Jiang Yiniing’s surging excitent, Tang Li was not as stirred. Because of the lies Ethan spread in his past life and his inexplicable disappearance, she now felt a subconscious aversion to matters related to Las Vegas.

To be more precise, it was an instinctual skepticism.

At that mont, another figure appeared at the classroom door.

It was a handso mixed-race young man.

His tall and straight figure instantly made him the center of attention. His white T-shirt and black pants accentuated his clean-cut good looks, and a black backpack hung over his right shoulder. Then, he approached the investor near the podium and whispered sothing.

“So handso,” soone gasped in admiration.

Wu Xuehan’s chips fell onto the desk as she watched the podium area, her face blushing: “This guy is really handso, such a gentlemanly deanor.”

“Don’t tell he’s the male lead,” Yu Sui couldn’t help but sigh.

Tang Li had already recognized Ethan.

Suddenly, the investor stepped onto the stage, stood by the principal, and leaned into the microphone to utter a sentence in broken S-country language: “Our company will invest 150 million US Dollars in this movie!”

Before his words even finished, thunderous applause erupted from below the stage.

So boys whistled excitedly.

The investor continued: “As for the cinematography of this film, my son Ethan will be in charge. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Cinema and dia Studies and is now an MFA exchange student at Capital University. I believe he will bring forth an exceptional work.”

Tang Li: “…”
