At dusk, Wan Chuer comfortably woke up, and as soon as she did, she was startled. How could it be that she hadn’t heard the babies’ cries for so long? Frightened, she imdiately sat up but didn’t see the babies anywhere. Only their belongings were left on the bed.

She hurriedly put on her shoes, threw on a coat, and ran outside. As soon as she opened the door, she heard Mrs. Zhu’s voice.

"Oh my, Little Zhuanqi is so well-behaved. After a full al, he becos lively. Look at his bright little eyes; they’re really adorable."

Wan Chuer breathed a sigh of relief and followed the voice. They were all in the main hall. When she walked in and saw everyone, wow, they were really all there. Old Sir Zhong, Li Shan, Xiao Bai, Yan Hui, and Mrs. Zhu were all there, gathered around the two little ones, talking and laughing. It looked very warm and lively. Wan Chuer just stood quietly at the door, watching them.

These were her family mbers. She had co ho.

Old Sir Zhong was holding Hunter with rare affection, while Mrs. Zhu was holding Little Zhuanqi.

Xiao Bai was making exaggerated faces to entertain Hunter and Little Zhuanqi, pretending to be a monkey one mont, a dinosaur the next, trying to make the two little ones laugh. But unfortunately, the two little ones ignored him, yawning, stretching their little legs and arms, staring blankly at the people holding them.

Xiao Bai was still as unreliable as ever, showing no signs of being the CEO of a large company.

Li Shan remained expressionless, secretly watching Little Zhuanqi waving his tiny fists, quietly thinking about how much bigger his fists were compared to Zhuanqi’s.

Sitting in the corner, Yan Hui elegantly sipped his tea, smiling gently as he watched everyone. He was the first to notice Wan Chuer standing at the door.

The movent of Yan Hui’s hand paused, his gaze softening even more, subtly looking in Wan Chuer’s direction.

Thus, while watching everyone, Wan Chuer completely unaware that she had beco scenery in Yan Hui’s eyes.

When Mrs. Zhu turned her head, she finally saw Wan Chuer and exclaid, "Chuchu, co on in. How long have you been standing there? Are you tired? Hungry? I’ve got chicken soup simring for you in the kitchen."

She expressed her concern for Wan Chuer in one breath, making her feel even warr. Mrs. Zhu gently handed Little Zhuanqi to Xiao Bai, pulled Wan Chuer inside, and seated her on the sofa before hurriedly heading to the kitchen.

Just as everyone continued chatting, suddenly, Mrs. Zhu’s raised voice was heard from outside.

"Xiao Jiang, you’re here. Oh, Jiang Commander and Mrs. Jiang are here too. Please co in."

Everyone inside the house paused in surprise. Old Sir Zhong handed the child to Wan Chuer and led the way outside.

In the courtyard, Father Jiang, Mrs. Jiang, and Jiang Kechu carried lots of gifts in their hands. Upon seeing Old Sir Zhong, Father Jiang quickly approached.

"Old Sir, hope we’re not disturbing you."

Old Sir Zhong smiled, "It’s no bother. You’re here to see the babies, aren’t you?"

Father Jiang chuckled, "I heard Chuchu and the babies are back, and I just couldn’t sit still. Besides seeing them, we also need to discuss Chuchu and Ke Chu’s marriage with you."

"Of course, of course," Old Sir Zhong grinned even more as he led Father Jiang and the others into the parlor.

Wan Chuer, holding the child, greeted Father Jiang and Mrs. Jiang.

Mrs. Jiang saw Mrs. Zhu serving Wan Chuer food and quickly took the child, gently telling Wan Chuer, "You eat well, I’ll look after the baby," and went to her husband’s side.

"Old Jiang, look, this is... our grandson." She still couldn’t bring herself to call out the odd na ’Hunter’ and then pointed at Little Zhuanqi in Xiao Bai’s arms, "That’s a little Jiaojiao, such a pretty little face."

Father Jiang took another fond look, unable to stop smiling, and then said to Old Sir Zhong, "We can’t let these two kids remain legally undefined. I think we should have them register in the next few days. What do you say?"

Before Wan Chuer could react, Old Sir Zhong and Father Jiang quickly settled the marriage plan with just a few words.

They would register three days later and hold the wedding half a month later.

Wan Chuer had no objections; after all, they already had children, and she was only going to marry Jiang Kechu in this life anyway—it was only a matter of ti.

Jiang Kechu was even more eager; he couldn’t wait to make it official with Wan Chuer, binding her firmly with him in the eyes of the law.

Father Jiang and Mrs. Jiang achieved their purpose for coming today and were more relaxed and happy. They enjoyed a pleasant chat with Old Sir Zhong and soon decided on the official nas for the two babies.

Jiang Erzhuo and Jiang Er Ya.

Old Sir Zhong, in rare good spirits, picked up a brush and elegantly wrote down the two nas for the children.

Everyone felt a sense of relief as they looked at the strong and bold calligraphy, freeing them from having to use the odd nas ’Hunter’ and ’Little Chuanqi.’

Xiao Bai quickly rejoiced, "Xiao Zhuo, Xiao Ya, what nice nas." Then he couldn’t resist mocking Wan Chuer a bit, "Sounds a hundred tis better than your nas."

Wan Chuer glared at him but had to maintain decorum in front of Mrs. Jiang and Father Jiang.

On the third day, Jiang Kechu took special leave to co early for registering the marriage with Wan Chuer.

Mrs. Jiang, who also ca along, wore a festive red knit cardigan and smiled, "You two go ahead, I’ll look after the babies."

The past couple of days, Mrs. Jiang had been visiting daily, buying piles of clothes and toys for Jiang Erzhuo and Jiang Er Ya.

Wan Chuer wore a fitted red dress, looking lively, matching well with Jiang Kechu’s military uniform, which he wore specifically for the occasion of their marriage certificate photo.

After the car left the family ho, Jiang Kechu found a place to stop and pulled a box from his pocket.

Wan Chuer raised an eyebrow, thinking they really had thought alike, and she, smiling helplessly, also pulled out a small box from her bag.

When they both opened the boxes, after seeing what was inside, Wan Chuer breathed a sigh of relief.

Jiang Kechu’s box contained a small, beautiful necklace, while inside Wan Chuer’s box was a pair of wedding bands, a surprise she had quietly prepared.

"Uncle Jiang, we really are on the sa wavelength," Wan Chuer laughed.

Unable to resist, Jiang Kechu tapped her on the nose and gently said, "Lean your head closer."

Wan Chuer obediently stretched her neck, and Jiang Kechu solemnly fastened the necklace around her neck, finally bestowing a kiss on her elegant, slender neck, causing Wan Chuer to shiver.

Then Wan Chuer playfully scolded him, solemnly putting the rings on their fingers.

The pair, like completing a secret ceremony, clasped each other’s hands, feeling a swell of excitent.

"Okay, let’s hurry."

The car soon arrived near the Civil Affairs Bureau. Just as they were about to reach it, however, Jiang Kechu’s phone rang as soon as the car stopped.

Jiang Kechu frowned as he glanced at it, "It’s my Second Uncle." He answered the call.

From the other end ca Second Uncle Jiang’s anxious voice: "Quickly, your grandfather is unconscious!"
