Wan Chu’er daintily ate a piece of fish before slowly stating, "How am I not a normal girl? I’m only twenty years old, just a junior in college, and I want to fully enjoy my college life before I graduate.

In a few days when the school clubs are recruiting new mbers, I plan to join two clubs for fun. Later, I want to get closer to my classmates and participate more in college activities, like attending mixer events, hiking, or going for karaoke sessions with everyone."

The more she talked, the more incredulous Xiao Bai’s expression beca, as if he had seen a ghost.

"Wan Chu’er, are you still Wan Chu’er? Did sothing possess your soul on your trip outside?"

Wan Chu’er: Eh... Xiao Bai, are you talking about soul snatching? It seems like there aren’t any novels about that yet, should I write an online novel and start a new era? Experience being a celebrated author?

Seeing Wan Chu’er zoning out, Xiao Bai suddenly slapped her on the arm.

Wan Chu’er covered her arm, glaring at Xiao Bai, "Bai Qiyan, that’s enough! If you’re itching for more, I don’t mind scratching it for you."

Who knew Xiao Bai would laugh and point at her, saying, "See, that’s more like you, showing your claws. Why pretend to be a lady?"

Wan Chu’er: "....."

Can’t I be a lady?

Forget it, Xiao Bai is just a fool, it’s impossible to reason with him. Wan Chu’er bowed her head and forked another piece of at, munching noisily. Ah, but Mrs. Zhu’s cooking tastes better.

No, Jiang Kechu’s cooking is the tastiest.

It’s been a while since I’ve had Jiang Kechu’s food. Wan Chu’er felt a bit lancholic as Jiang Kechu had gone to participate in an international Special Soldier skills competition and hadn’t returned yet.

Xiao Bai scoffed, ignoring Wan Chu’er’s lancholic look, and asked, "Co on, tell your brother which clubs you want to join. Back in my day, I was a prominent figure in university clubs. I can give you so tips for free."

Montarily excited, Wan Chu’er was genuinely planning to experience the university club life. Mai Qiqi joined the classical music club in her freshman year and Lin Yufei joined the hip-hop dance club. They often participate in club activities and it seed quite nice.

She asked Xiao Bai, "What do you think about joining the Taekwondo or Martial Arts club?"

Xiao Bai struggled to hold back a laugh, "Are you planning to challenge them? Your skill level is too high, they definitely won’t accept you."

Wan Chu’er scoffed disbelievingly, "The clubs here aren’t that intense."

Hearing this, Xiao Bai swallowed back his advice, hmph, let’s see how you fare when you get rejected because you wouldn’t listen to Second Brother.

Also, aren’t club recruitnts typically aid at freshn? With you being a junior, will anyone even want you? Xiao Bai’s eyes road, deciding not to tell Wan Chu’er this tradition, letting her make a fool of herself.

After eating, Wan Chu’er returned to school.

Since the term began, Wan Chu’er had changed her habit of always running ho when not busy, now she hung around on campus whether or not she had matters to attend.

She decided to embrace the tail end of her college years and thoroughly enjoy university life.

As she entered the dormitory, she heard Lin Yufei humming a song.

Wan Chu’er moved closer and humd along.

"I need to control myself, not let anyone see cry..."

Lin Yufei: "..."

Can this song be sung properly for once? Every ti Wan Chu’er leads us into a ditch, and it’s the kind of ditch you never climb out of.

Mai Qiqi clutched her stomach and rolled on the bed, laughing to death. Listening to Chuchu sing is truly the greatest joy in the world.

Who knew that after humming a couple of bars, Wan Chu’er would start criticizing.

"Lin Yufei, this song sounds awful. All about crying and hurting all day long, it doesn’t have any of the spirit a university student should have. We should sing ’True Heroes’ instead."

As she said this, her tone changed, and she sang boldly: "...Brilliant starry sky, who is the real hero? Ordinary people move the most..."

Only Jiang Kechu is truly a hero, Wan Chu’er thought to herself, delightfully, as she sang.

Singing is indeed a good exercise; once you sing, your mood improves.

After singing for a while, she turned her head and found Lin Yufei looking at her blankly. Seeing that she stopped, Lin Yufei breathed a sigh of relief.

"Mr. Chu, why haven’t you gone ho recently?"

Now she could only deal with Wan Chu’er, who could miraculously turn a rising tone into a falling tone, and a B key into a C minor.

Wan Chu’er suddenly rembered sothing and asked, "Does our university have a music club? I want to try it out."

At her words, Mai Qiqi and Lin Yufei both were taken aback.

Lin Yufei cautiously asked, "What do you an by ’try it out’?"

"Of course, I an joining them. I think I really like singing."

Lin Yufei burst into laughter, "Please spare them. Just tornt and Qiqi in the dormitory, Chuchu, Mr. Chu, please don’t sing outside."

Wan Chu’er looked aggrieved and asked, "Why?"

"It’s too disillusioning. It would depress a whole group of boys who secretly adore you," Mai Qiqi said bluntly.

Wan Chu’er snorted, threw herself onto the bed, and sighed, "So boring. Is there any campus activity? Let fully experience the ivory tower life."

Mai Qiqi sort of knew why Wan Chu’er suddenly wanted a change. After thinking briefly, she suggested, "How about we go to the sports field? It’s liveliest there at night."

Wan Chu’er blinked, imdiately jumped off the bed, "Alright, let’s head to the sports field!"

When leaving, she dragged Lin Yufei, who intended to binge-watch drama in the dorm, and the three girls headed to the sports field together.

The sports field was brightly lit, many people were running, so boys and girls sat on the grass in the middle chatting and laughing, while a group of students danced to music on the stage nearby.

After walking around, Wan Chu’er felt she couldn’t find her place, so the three ventured to the nearby courts.

The sports facilities at First University were extensive - the badminton court adjacent to the tennis court, next to the table tennis area, and beside the basketball court. They went one by one, finally stopping near the basketball court.

"Look, look, Yuan Jingcheng from the finance departnt, the tallest and most handso player, he’s my idol," Lin Yufei instantly beca a fangirl, licking her lips excitedly.

Mai Qiqi also laughed creepily, joining Lin Yufei to start assessing the boys one by one.

Wan Chu’er blinked, looking at the man Lin Yufei ntioned, scoffing, he’s just a bit taller, has a straighter nose, that pale skin, obviously a pretty boy, and those muscles are just minimal, nowhere near as good as Jiang Kechu.

She then turned to other players and noticed a slightly shorter guy with good jumping and agile movents.

The three were thoroughly enjoying the scene, when suddenly a basketball, fought over by a crowd, flew off course towards them.
