Yan Hui slightly raised his eyebrows and said, "Oh, welco to your new ho."
Wan Chu’er giggled and asked, "Mr. Yan, I’m in Building 8 of Zone D, which building are you in?"
She took the opportunity to get closer, first finding out where Yan Hui lived, so she and Xiao Bai could go and boast about it later. Xiao Bai really admired Yan Hui, and now living in the sa neighborhood, they could see each other often.
Yan Hui curved the corners of his mouth and smiled, "That’s really a coincidence, I’m in Building 7 of Zone D. We are neighbors."
Upon hearing that, Wan Chu’er was even more delighted. Being such close neighbors, they could easily visit each other.
Hey, could it be the building on the left that she saw from the third-floor terrace yesterday afternoon?
"What a coincidence to beco neighbors with Mr. Yan! Mr. Yan, were you ho yesterday afternoon?"
Yan Hui’s expression remained unchanged as he softly replied, "I wasn’t ho, why?"
"Oh, it’s nothing." Wan Chu’er smiled and asked, "Mr. Yan, where are you heading?"
"Just taking a casual stroll."
Wan Chu’er looked at the blazing sun overhead, strolling around at this ti?
Truly different from ordinary people.
Yan Hui seed to notice Wan Chu’er’s confusion and said, "It’s a refreshing ti in autumn. In a few days after the autumn rain, the weather will cool down, and the scenery in the community will be different."
Wan Chu’er responded with an "Oh," feeling that just chatting with Yan Hui and listening to his voice was a nice pasti.
They reached an intersection, and Yan Hui waved at her: "That way leads out, see you later."
"Yes, see you, Mr. Yan." Wan Chu’er smiled and said goodbye.
She quickened her pace and soon reached the entrance of the residential area, and sure enough, she saw Jiang Kechu’s car parked at the entrance.
"Uncle Jiang." Wan Chu’er cheerfully called out, then opened the car door and got in.
Jiang Kechu turned around and ruffled her hair, "Happy about the new ho?"
"Hehe, I just t a handso guy," Wan Chu’er said intentionally.
Jiang Kechu listened but did not show any jealousy as she expected; he just shook his head with a smile.
After the two had a al, Jiang Kechu directly took Wan Chu’er back to the forr residential area.
Wan Chu’er puzzled, "Uncle Jiang, haven’t you forgotten that I’ve moved already? What are we doing here?"
"I have a gift for you."
Wan Chu’er’s eyes imdiately sparkled as she smiled and asked, "What is it?"
"You’ll find out when we get there."
"Cute, keeping secrets."
Once they arrived at the residential area, the driver stopped under Building 1.
Jiang Kechu personally walked to the passenger side, opened the door for Wan Chu’er, and took her hand to help her out.
"This is my first ti here, I wonder what Uncle Jiang has hidden in his house," Wan Chu’er said on purpose.
Jiang Kechu affectionately ruffled her hair and said, "If I were to hide anything, it would be to hide you."
Wan Chu’er laughed happily.
Jiang Kechu’s house was on the top floor, a two-story duplex.
The interior decoration was very simple, it was clear Jiang Kechu hardly lived here.
He opened the door of a room and brought out a suitcase.
"This is a laptop Xiao Shan helped you configure; Xiao Shan says this laptop’s performance is the best on the market right now."
Wan Chu’er listened, and her eyes lit up imdiately.
Computer hardware is developing really fast these days; almost every month, new hardware is released.
Her desktop could handle ordinary applications, but it started to lag when she was coding.
"Uncle Jiang, I love you too much, thank you, I was just thinking about reconfiguring my computer."
As she spoke, she lunged towards the box containing the laptop, wanting to open it and explore, but though her upper body lunged forward, the rest of her didn’t budge.
Jiang Kechu’s strong arms wrapped around her waist.
Wan Chu’er turned her head and t Jiang Kechu’s fervent, enticing eyes, feeling her face heat up instantly.
"Uncle Jiang, what are you trying to do?" Wan Chu’er licked her lips.
Her gesture clearly pleased Jiang Kechu, who curled the corners of his mouth and deepened his voice: "Didn’t I tell you not to call uncle anymore? What do you think should be your punishnt?"
Wan Chu’er felt a butterfly fluttering in her chest, making her heart itch uncontrollably; she wrapped her arms around Jiang Kechu’s neck and blinked:
"How about you punish by letting see and touch your abs?"
Jiang Kechu: "..."
He rembered how Wan Chu’er teased him over the phone last night; this girl was getting bolder.
But, he liked it!
Jiang Kechu leaned down and kissed her, and while Wan Chu’er was dizzy from the kiss, she didn’t forget to extend her ’devil’s claw’, reaching for the long-yearned-for abs.
...
In the afternoon, Jiang Kechu took Wan Chu’er to buy a bunch of daily necessities and sent her back to her new ho.
Upon entering, they saw Xiao Bai sitting on the sofa playing gas, who looked up at Jiang Kechu to greet him: "You’re here," then went back to his ga.
Seeing the ga Xiao Bai was playing, Wan Chu’er imdiately said, "Co on, let’s play a two-player ga."
Xiao Bai refused decisively, "Wan Chu’er, is it fun for you to bully the weak? Can you not be so childish?"
Every ti he played gas with Wan Chu’er, he was always the one being thrashed.
Wan Chu’er rolled her eyes at him and took Jiang Kechu upstairs, "Uncle Jiang, let show you around my new place."
Upon hearing this, Xiao Bai imdiately threw his ga controller and butted in.
"Co on, let introduce you, I’m familiar with this place."
Thinking of having a world of two under his watchful eyes?
Wishful thinking!
Jiang Kechu stayed for a short while, gave a few instructions, and then left.
After Jiang Kechu left, Wan Chu’er threw a bunch of newly bought bed sheets, duvet covers, towels, toothbrushes, and other things to Xiao Bai, along with a contemptuous remark: "Childish!"
The next morning, Xiao Bai was in the kitchen preparing breakfast for two, while Wan Chu’er was waiting for breakfast, reading an English programming textbook.
"Ding-dong ding-dong—"
The doorbell rang.
Before Wan Chu’er could react, Xiao Bai shouted from the kitchen, "Wan Chu’er, go open the door."
"Ah, who would co so early? It couldn’t be that Yao Xian again?" Wan Chu’er muttered as she went to open the door.
As the door opened, Li Shan walked straight in with two big suitcases.
"Hey, hey, hey, stop, what are you doing?" Wan Chu’er anxiously tried to pull Li Shan back.
"Um, um, um!" Old Sir Zhong’s voice ca from the door.
Wan Chu’er looked towards the voice and saw Old Sir Zhong standing at the door, hands clasped behind his back, standing straight and commanding.
"What are you doing here?" Wan Chu’er blurted out.
Old Sir Zhong humd displeasingly, then said with righteousness, "I have no place to stay, I’m here to stay with you for a while."
Wan Chu’er: "... How can you possibly have no place to stay? Your place is so big!"
Old Sir Zhong: "It’s broken, being fixed."
Wan Chu’er felt as if her head was about to explode, her forehead veins throbbing: "Why should I let you stay here?!"
