After Xiao Gao fell asleep, Yu Rong bore in mind that she absolutely couldn’t open the door after midnight. All her attention was on the door.
In the blink of an eye, an hour passed. Yu Rong didn’t hear any movents and was a little sleepy. Just as she heaved a sigh of relief and was about to go to sleep, there suddenly was knocking on the door.
“I’m Manqing’s attending physician. Please open the door!”
Yu Rong was already a little sleepy. When she heard the commotion, she subconsciously wanted to open the door. However, just as her hand touched the door handle, she suddenly rembered what Celestial Master Chi had said. Yu Rong imdiately shuddered.
Before she could open the door, the person outside repeated, “I’m Manqing’s attending physician. Please open the door!”

Xiao Gao shouted in fear, “Sister Yu, it’s really… it’s really a ghost!”
Luckily, Yu Rong was calm enough. She recalled what Master Chi said earlier: As long as they didn’t open the door, they would be fine. Only then did Yu Rong’s pale face gradually recover a little.
