But what puzzled her was that though there was sothing wrong with Zhou Chengfei, she actually couldn’t see what it was; it didn’t seem like he had run into evil or was possessed. Chi Shuyan rubbed her temples and continued to ask, “Did Du Zhong tell Lu Ningwen and Fang Yu what he saw?”
Qi Hao shook his head guiltily. “Sister-in-law, I forgot to ask!”
“It’s fine!” That man was a very cowardly and selfish person who only thought about protecting himself; the lives of others didn’t matter to him at all.
Last night, he had suddenly revealed to Lu Ningwen and Fang Yu that Zhou Chengfei wasn’t human. He had probably been too agitated and hadn’t really wanted to say anything. Perhaps he regretted revealing this information to Lu Ningwen and Fang Yu last night.
He was afraid that if word got out, ‘Zhou Chengfei’ would find him and silence him.
If she wasn’t wrong, the other party would leave in a day or two.

The dia platform and production team had put in even more effort for this event. One could tell, just from the fact that Song Yanru, the popular film empress, was here, how much the production team had spent, not to ntion that the production team had also invited a very popular A-list pairing. If this variety show aired successfully, it would be popular no matter what. Du Zhong’s acting skills were good; the only thing he lacked was popularity. If he worked hard this ti, his future definitely wouldn’t be bad.
So why did he suddenly want to pull out?
Unfortunately, this was a matter of life and death. Compared with Du Zhong’s future, his life was naturally more important. He didn’t care when his manager talked about paying compensation. He was determined that Manager Huang pick him up today. If he didn’t, Du Zhong would leave on his own.
