1792 Old Liang Family Residence, Du Zhong’s Horror
Du Zhong’s words made Fang Yu, Lu Ningwen and Director Huang look at each other in dismay. For a mont, they were really worried that Zhou Chengfei had fallen into the well. That would be too unlucky.
Director Huang was even more worried; if sothing happened to Zhou Chengfei, the production team wouldn’t be able to bear the consequences. He couldn’t wait to imdiately take the young n to the well in the outermost courtyard to look for Zhou Chengfei.
There were actually lanterns hanging in and outside the old Liang family residence, so the path was still visible, but the young n thought it wasn’t bright enough, so they turned on the flashlights on their phones and went straight to the outer courtyard, shouting Zhou Chengfei’s na as they walked.
Unfortunately, there was no reply. Director Huang was even more worried. They found the outermost courtyard and saw the well. Everyone called Zhou Chengfei’s na again, but unfortunately, Zhou Chengfei never replied.
That really scared everyone.
Fang Yu couldn’t help but say, “Why don’t we go take a look at the well? Maybe Brother Chengfei fell into the well?”
Lu Ningwen replied, “That’s possible!”
Director Huang was a little nervous because he didn’t know how deep the well was at all. He had been worried about sothing happening to Zhou Chengfei before, and now, he was even more worried that Zhou Chengfei might have fallen to his death in the well.

Du Zhong was brave, but he was also afraid of death. He couldn’t help but retreat. “Why don’t we go back first? Maybe Chengfei has already returned to his room to rest? We might be able to see him in the morning!”
Unfortunately, no one agreed with him. In the end, it was Lu Ningwen who took the initiative to go to the well to take a look. When Lu Ningwen spoke up, Director Wang hurriedly agreed, afraid that he would go back on his word.

The two boys walked to the well. Because it was night, it was dark inside the well, and they couldn’t see anything. Fang Yu and Lu Ningwen shone the flashlights on their phones inside. In the light, they really did see a figure move at the bottom, but they couldn’t clearly make it out.
But Lu Ningwen and Fang Yu didn’t think much of it. They thought that it was Zhou Chengfei in the well, and seeing that ‘Zhou Chengfei’ could still move, he should be fine.
The two young n were excited and imdiately shouted at Director Huang and Du Zhong, “Brother Chengfei seems to be in the well. We can see him moving.”
With that, they turned around and hurriedly shouted down the well, “Brother Chengfei, did you accidentally fall into the well? Say sothing? We’ll pull you up soon!”
When Director Huang heard what the two boys said, he was so agitated he almost cried. He didn’t expect Zhou Chengfei to really fall into the well, and he imdiately pulled Du Zhong over.
Du Zhong was a bit puzzled and couldn’t help but say, “Fang Yu and Ningwen shouted so many tis down the well; why didn’t Brother Chengfei respond?”
Thinking about it, Du Zhong agreed. Director Huang wanted Du Zhong to go back and find a rope to pull Zhou Chengfei up, but Du Zhong said that he didn’t know where to find a thick rope, so Director Huang could only go back himself.
Du Zhong didn’t want to wait here in a daze, so he deliberately said, “Director Huang, why don’t I go back with you to find a rope? In any case, Ningwen and Fang Yu are here. Just waiting around here won’t help. I might as well go with you to find a rope.”

Fang Yu’s words excited Director Huang. He and Du Zhong imdiately walked to the well and looked inside. Sure enough, they saw a figure climbing up. The two didn’t think much of it and were quite excited. Director Huang was so excited that he was about to cry. He said firmly, “It must be Chengfei, it must be Chengfei. He’s fine. Du Zhongjing’s vision turned black and he sucked in a cold breath of air. He staggered back a few steps and gasped for breath. Dense cold air swept up through the soles of his feet as his entire body and heart turned cold. His palms and back were imdiately covered in a dense cold sweat. If it really was Zhou Chengfei in the well, where did he get so many tentacles?
The others didn’t notice Du Zhong’s strange behavior. At that mont, Fang Yu imdiately stretched his hand into the well and shouted, “Brother Chengfei, careful. Co up and grab my hand!”
