Si Yuhuan left the Jian Family Old House.

Jian Xi held the divorce agreent in her hands, unable to sleep all night.

The butler knocked on the door, "Miss? The Madam said that the fifth master’s return has been postponed. Shall we start preparing in advance?"

Jian’s Mother and Father Jian were not at ho. Now, Jian Xi was the one who made the decisions at the Jian Family house.

The door opened.

Jian Xi appeared, her face deathly pale, still dressed in her pajamas. "When has Fifth Brother ever said he’d be back without postponing it?"

His job as a rcenary ant orders ca suddenly and were irrefutable. The Jian Family had long been used to it.

"We’ll be fine if we start preparing ten days from now. Give him a call in advance. If he postpones again, tell him not to co back."

BANG!

The door was shut once more.

The butler sighed helplessly, shook his head, and hurried downstairs to call Jian’s Mother to report.

"They had a big fight last night. I didn’t catch the details from my room, but Miss looks really off today, a bit... as if life has lost its aning."

Jian’s Mother instantly panicked. "What? Is it that serious?"

She was sowhat frightened. "Does it have to do with that little vixen Jiang Qing?"

The butler was sweating. "Perhaps."

The dostic entertainnt news hadn’t reached Q Country yet. If the old lady learned about the ss Jiang Qing had made, she would probably be furious enough to fly straight back. The second master was tight-lipped, so it was likely the old couple still knew nothing.

Just as he hesitated over whether to reveal everything, Jian’s Mother said, "I’ll have the eldest persuade her."

Jian Mingcheng imdiately took on the task.

「anwhile, at Haohan Group.」

After Si Yuhuan returned to his company, he found fault with every project manager. In a fit of rage, he felt like setting the entire marketing, investnt, and sales departnts ablaze.

"Director Si has lost his composure and flown into a rage for the first ti," the staff whispered amongst themselves. "Sothing big must have happened! No one should provoke him rashly."

Soon after, Xu Ze, a top international lawyer from the legal departnt, was called in.

"You know exactly what the boss wants," Yan Qing repeatedly cautioned him before he entered. "No matter what ans you use, just rember: satisfy him, and that’s all that matters!"

Satisfied? Are they no longer considering legal constraints? Surely, they aren’t expecting so underhanded tactics, are they?

As soon as Xu Ze entered, he stated uprightly, "Director Si, we can’t do anything illegal."

"What about making reasonable use of the law?"

Si Yuhuan’s handso face was cold, as if soone owed him hundreds of billions.

Xu Ze was embarrassed. "It depends on the aspect."

Resorting to unfair competitive practices had always been beneath Haohan Group. Xu Ze grew quite nervous when Si Yuhuan suddenly raised such questions.

Si Yuhuan, thinking the matter he wanted to discuss was too difficult, didn’t know how to begin. They both fell into silence.

"Director Si signed the divorce agreent last night," Yan Qing, unable to wait any longer, blurted out. "Now he wants to know how to handle it to make it ineffective."

Si Yuhuan stared at him coldly.

This guy has been with for too long; he’s beco as cunning as a fox. I only told him to call Xu Ze in, without ntioning the matter, and he’s already figured out the gist of it.

Whew— So that was it!

Xu Ze sat up straight, professionally offering advice, "The simplest thod is to destroy the docunt."

"How to destroy it?" Si Yuhuan’s somber expression eased sowhat.

"You could personally retrieve the docunt and tear it up," Xu Ze boldly suggested.

Impossible! He had signed it so dashingly. If he went back now to tear up the docunt, Jian Xi would laugh him to death.

The truth was, he regretted signing it the mont he did.

When he left, Jian Xi showed no intention of trying to make him stay.

This marriage ant so little to her. At that mont, Si Yuhuan was furious. But after the fury, an emptiness settled within him.

His grandfather’s call that morning had given him an out.

"My birthday is coming up soon," his grandfather had said. "Let Xixi handle the entire birthday banquet. She is, after all, a daughter-in-law of the Si Family. It’s ti everyone t her."

Driven by so inexplicable impulse, Si Yuhuan had agreed, "Grandpa, rest assured. She will definitely be there to personally organize everything for you."

That was why he had asked Xu Ze to co over.

There were so things he couldn’t bring himself to say, but Yan Qing, that perceptive man, would know how to read the situation.

"Lawyer Xu! You have a long-term strategic partnership with Haohan Group. Director Si’s reputation reflects on the entire Haohan Group. Whether in public or private, you are duty-bound to protect Director Si’s dignity. Can you suggest a thod that is legal, clean, and effective?"

The implication was clear: find an under-the-table way to handle it without Si Yuhuan losing face.

Xu Ze’s ability to thrive in legal circles showed he was no ordinary person.

"Simple. Make the docunt disappear without a trace. If Miss Jian asks you to sign another one, just ignore her. The matter will eventually blow over," he said.

Si Yuhuan nodded. "That’s a good idea."

His brow smoothed, and the icy aura around him gradually dissipated.

Xu Ze let out a breath and said formally, "I will take care of this matter."

"Charge the expenses to finance," Si Yuhuan said grandly, consenting with a wave of his hand.

Yan Qing secretly gave him a thumbs-up.

The skies over Haohan Group were finally clearing.

***

Jian Xi received a call from her older brother Jian Mingcheng, telling her to go to Jian Group imdiately.

Having not slept all night, she felt groggy and muddle-headed. Nevertheless, she got up, applied so simple makeup, and drove to the Jian Group.

Before heading downstairs, she instructed the butler, "No one is allowed to enter my room."

The butler nodded. "Yes, Young Miss."

After she left, the maid Aunt Zhang brought in a sweet-looking young girl. "Butler, this is the niece I ntioned before. Do you think she can start working now?"

"Wait a mont, I need to go to the restroom."

The butler suddenly felt a stomach ache.

"Oh dear, I still have soup simring on the stove!" Aunt Zhang exclaid, slapping her forehead as soon as he left. "Child, you wait here for a mont."

After saying that, she also ran off in a hurry.

No one saw that once everyone had left, the girl deftly made her way to Jian Xi’s room on the third floor, slipping inside as silently as a cat.

Jian Mingcheng was in a eting, so Jian Xi went straight to his office.

His secretary respectfully served her a cup of coffee.

"Young Miss, CEO Jian will be finished with his eting in about ten minutes."

"Alright, you go ahead with your work. I’ll call you if I need anything."

Jian Xi’s attention was completely captured by a proposal on the desk.

A special folder and red tag denoted its importance.

Chip Production and Manufacturing Layout Planning Proposal.

This docunt was from Haohan Group.

Targeting regions like Q Country, Si Yuhuan has already made preliminary considerations. His speed is truly remarkable. No wonder he’s been frequently interacting with Chu Xiao lately—the scarcity of Silicon Crystal must have started to throw him off balance.

"Little Sister..."

Jian Mingcheng ca in, saw her holding the docunt, deep in thought, and asked, "You saw it?"

"He trusts you enough to hand over the entire Q Country to you?"

"Quite trusting. Not only that, he also entrusted W Country to the Jian Group and even allocated five hundred million for the Jian Group to make preliminary targeted investnts."

Jian Xi felt a sense of disbelief. The Si Yuhuan she faced now was soone she barely recognized.

The words "I’m divorced," were stuck in her throat, making her feel as if a fishbone was lodged there.
