He clearly didn’t even consider her a human being. Yesterday, she had been eager to annoy Jiang Qing. Now that she thought about it, if he could have controlled his strength, he wouldn’t have co to her. In his heart, he probably couldn’t bear to treat his white moonlight so harshly.

The bruises were purple and green, heart-wrenchingly so.

Si Yuhuan thought about his own lack of gentleness last night and fell into silence.

Jian Xi’s grievances spilled out in mutters.

"Sorry."

Jian Xi froze. Huh? Did I hear that right?

Si Yuhuan’s thin lips were picturesque, his exquisite face capable of captivating all beings. After last night, his brows carried an even more soul-stealing charm. He then went over and forcefully pressed Jian Xi onto the bed.

"Hey! What are you doing? I’m all bruised up; I can’t handle another round of your roughhousing. It still hurt down there!"

"Don’t move." Si Yuhuan turned to get the dical kit to give her so basic treatnt. He took a deep look at the place Si Junyan had hurt most, then scooped out a large dollop of bruise-healing ointnt. After warming and lting it by rubbing it in circles in his palm, he gently massaged it onto Jian Xi’s arm.

His palm was warm, strong, and powerful. Jian Xi felt a slight sting, but mostly comfort.

They were so close they could clearly feel each other’s breath. The pleasant scent of tobacco mixed with sandalwood emanating from his body was disconcerting.

Si Yuhuan’s gaze was slightly lowered, his long eyelashes even denser than a woman’s. His serious deanor was truly handso.

Jian Xi! What are you thinking! Don’t be dazzled by his looks.

Jian Xi quickly pushed Si Yuhuan away.

"What? Does it hurt a lot?" A trace of concern flashed through Si Yuhuan’s eyes.

Flustered, Jian Xi pulled down her sleeve and blurted out, "It hurts... a little."

She couldn’t admit that her reflex was to avoid being chard by this enchanting man.

"Apply it three tis daily. Be diligent, and it will heal faster." Si Yuhuan was uncharacteristically gentle.

Jian Xi scoffed coldly, "I’d already be thanking heaven and earth if you just caused less injury."

Si Yuhuan was at a loss for words.

His phone began to ring frantically.

Jian Xi glanced over; it was Jiang Qing.

Always knew how to ruin the mood.

Si Yuhuan hesitated awkwardly, wondering if he should answer.

Jian Xi scoffed, "What? Afraid you can’t explain to your little mistress after sleeping with your wife?"

"Don’t talk nonsense." He glared at her coldly, then pressed the answer key.

Jiang Qing sounded very upset, apologizing profusely over the phone. "Yuhan, I’ve already looked into the whole matter. Xiaozhang accidentally mixed her boyfriend’s aphrodisiac into our drinks. Last night, not only you, but I also had to get an IV to recover. You and Miss Jian... she..."

"We slept together, many tis at that! Miss Jiang, do you want the details?" Jian Xi, having heard Jiang Qing, shouted loudly.

Imdiately, Si Yuhuan pressed the mute button and glared furiously at Jian Xi, "Can’t you have any sense of sha?"

He had never seen such a reckless woman! Shouting about such matters everywhere.

Jian Xi smirked infuriatingly, "You dare sleep with , yet you’re afraid of my words? If you have the guts, suppress the urge and don’t sleep with then!"

She hadn’t forgotten how Si Yuhuan had treated her when she was drugged.

Jian Xi was full of regret. If given another chance, she would do to him what he had done to her—douse him with cold water all night long.

It seed like Jiang Qing had hung up.

Si Yuhuan kept redialing from inside, but she didn’t answer.

So satisfying.

She’d just write off last night as being defiled by a pig.

Jian Xi went downstairs, where she was stopped by the butler at the door.

"What’s the matter?" Seeing the butler’s flustered expression, Jian Xi felt a surge of foreboding.

"Miss, your mother is looking for you. She’s in the living room."

"Alright, I’ll be right there."

As soon as Jian Xi entered the living room, a stack of files was thrown onto the coffee table. "Tell , what exactly is this about?"

Injury assessnt reports, Si Yuhuan’s infidelity evidence, everything was carelessly strewn across the coffee table, including so poorly taken, suggestive photos that were quite an eyesore.

Just looking at this evidence, Si Yuhuan could definitely lose a divorce case.

Jian’s Mother’s chest heaved with anger. She suddenly stood up, her body shaking uncontrollably.

Jian Xi imdiately rushed to support her. "Mom, listen to , I’ll explain."

This was the divorce evidence she had carefully hidden in the cabinet! How did it get found?

"What’s there to explain? Divorce! Divorce right now!"

At that mont, Si Yuhuan also ca downstairs.

Seeing him, Jian’s Mother was fuming. "Si Yuhuan, look at the great thing you’ve done!"

Si Yuhuan casually picked up the photos from the ground, looked at Jian Xi, and asked, "Did you have soone take these?"

Jian Xi glared at him. "Mom, all of this is fabricated."

Jian’s Mother’s voice rose. "Fabricated?"

"Yes!" Jian Xi clenched her jaw. "They’re just misleading photos taken out of context by reporters. I bought them to suppress the issue."

Her heart was bleeding. She had spent a fortune having them taken! This was powerful evidence for the divorce! It wasn’t the best ti to divorce Si Yuhuan yet. For now, she had to sacrifice her chariot to save her king and let go of these treasures.

All her subtle expressions were caught by Si Yuhuan, who sat quietly by, watching Jian Xi shoot herself in the foot.

Jian’s Mother, with her arms folded, picked up the divorce agreent. "What about this then?"

Jian Xi had studied law. Her docunts were thoroughly prepared; she had even drafted the litigation papers. It didn’t look like she was joking at all.

Just as Jian Xi was about to explain, her mother rebuked her. "You shut up! Si Yuhuan, you talk."

Si Yuhuan weighed the docunts in his hand. He saw Jian Xi mouth a warning to him: ŸSpeak carefully. Don’t anger my mom. If she gets seriously upset because of this, I’m not done with you.Ÿ

"Hmm, we were indeed discussing divorce before."

Jian’s Mother was very angry when she heard this.

"But we’ve reconciled." Si Yuhuan, noticing Jian Xi relax her fists and suppress a smile, continued, "It’s quite normal for Xixi to prepare divorce docunts when she’s having a tantrum. As for these gossip photos, they’re all misunderstandings from social engagents. I’ve never thought of divorcing Jian Xi."

"What about the injury report?" Jian’s Mother wasn’t easily fooled.

Si Yuhuan promptly stood up and bowed his head slightly, adopting the posture of a junior apologizing.

Both Jian’s Mother and Jian Xi herself were astonished.

"I’m sorry, Mom. It’s my fault for not protecting Xixi well enough and allowing that scoundrel Si Junyan to bully her. But please rest assured, I’ve already sent him to the Northwest for a developnt project. Things will be kept simple for him there, and he will no longer enjoy any Si Family privileges."

Si Yuhuan declared solemnly, "From now on, I promise not to let her get hurt again and cause you worry."

Jian’s Mother believed Si Yuhuan’s words. She thought to herself that since her daughter loved Si Yuhuan so much, the divorce agreent was probably just a threat and not truly credible.

Observing the couple’s little gestures, she decided to give them a little push. "Fine then, you two should live a good life together. How about giving a grandson within a month?"

"Mom!" Jian Xi was truly on the verge of bursting with anger.

"That’s settled then." Si Yuhuan agreed, then went over and tore all the photos and docunts to shreds.

Jian Xi’s eyes widened in disbelief, her heart aching as he tore up the evidence she had painstakingly collected...

Si Yuhuan! I will never share the sky with you!
