"I had no idea you’d developed a taste for this type of man," Si Yuhuan walked in. His oppressive aura suddenly made the spacious restaurant feel suffocating.

Seeing the tall and handso Si Yuhuan, the man asked, "You, who are you?"

Si Yuhuan furrowed his brows. "Her husband."

"What? Miss Jian is already married and still cos out for blind dates?" The man imdiately stood up. "This is morally reprehensible, Miss Jian! You’ve gone too far."

Jian Xi was left speechless by the accusation.

After the man left, she glared at Si Yuhuan. "What husband? You’re an ex-husband!"

Rembering how Dan Mingyao had provoked her by calling her ’Ex-Wifey Sis,’ Jian Xi retorted with a smile, "Well then, you must be ’Ex-Hubby Bro’!"

"Alright, still as feisty as ever—eloquent and sharp-tongued."

Jian Xi didn’t want to deal with him and picked up her bag to leave, but he caught her wrist.

"Really not considering remarrying ?"

"Get lost!"

With another woman in the picture, yet he still wants to remarry him? This man should see a doctor to check his brain!

Jian Xi left in a huff.

Si Yuhuan glanced around, pulled out a cigarette, lit it, and took a deep drag. She really has a temper!

Si Junyan ca in, accompanied by a few n who looked like business elites. Spotting Si Yuhuan near the entrance, he patted the person beside him. "Hold on a mont."

He deliberately walked over to bump into Si Yuhuan.

Sensing danger subconsciously, Si Yuhuan sidestepped and grabbed the other’s elbow tightly. He executed a quick succession of over-the-shoulder throws, and Si Junyan landed on the ground like a dog eating dirt.

"Si Yuhuan! You did that on purpose, didn’t you!"

He glared at Si Yuhuan, his eyes practically spitting fire.

Si Yuhuan casually flicked his ash, then coolly tossed the cigarette butt onto him. "You’re blaming because your sneak attack failed?"

"Pfft! What kind of person do you take for? , the esteed Second Young Master, sneak attack *you*?"

Si Junyan firmly denied it, fearing another police report and putting himself at a disadvantage.

Si Yuhuan sneered coldly, hardly bothering to glance at him. "Trash."

Si Junyan saw the crowd gathering. Everyone was watching the spectacle, and many recognized him—especially the few business associates he had just brought in. These n were his trump cards for defeating Si Weixun. If he couldn’t regain his dignity here against Si Yuhuan, how could he convince them to trust him!

Clenching his teeth, he snarled, "Si Yuhuan, you’re asking for it!"

Si Junyan shouted, "Boss, get out here!"

The owner, hoping to avoid trouble, quickly ca out, bowing and apologizing, "Second Young Master, please calm down."

SLAP!

Unable to beat Si Yuhuan, he vented his anger on the restaurant owner instead.

"You damned bastard! I co here to spend my money, and you can’t even see when soone’s taking a cheap shot at your custors?"

Soone nearby, who had seen it all clearly, muttered, "He clearly started it and got what he deserved, but now he’s trying to flip the script. Shaless."

Si Junyan shot him a fierce glare, and the crowd scattered, no longer daring to watch the commotion.

The owner knew that if he didn’t act today, Si Junyan wouldn’t let it go easily. Si Junyan was now the acting head of Haohan Group; even if he wasn’t the wealthiest man, he was not to be offended. As for Si Yuhuan...

The owner glanced up. Heavens! Even just standing there, the man exuded an aura that scread ’untouchable.’

"Second Young Master, running a small business isn’t easy. Please, be rciful!"

His cheek was numb with pain. He was seething with rage internally but kept apologizing nonstop.

"Have your security throw this man out imdiately! And I an *throw* him out! Hurry!" roared Si Junyan.

Forced into a corner, the owner pleaded, "Director Si, please, considering how difficult things are for us, perhaps you could leave first?"

SLAP!

No sooner had the owner finished speaking than Si Junyan slapped him again. It landed squarely on his other cheek. "Are you deaf? I said have *him* thrown out!"

Clutching both his stinging cheeks, his head buzzing as he struggled to stay upright, the owner finally gritted his teeth and shouted, "Security! Please escort Director Si out!"

He whispered to Si Yuhuan, "My apologies."

A few bodyguards stepped forward.

Si Junyan laughed. "Si Yuhuan, I bet you never thought you’d see a day like this, did you?"

"What’s there to be arrogant about? The tables always turn; your day will co soon enough! Using such low-brow tactics... you call yourself a mber of the Si Family? What a disgrace!"

Si Yuhuan had never taken him seriously, from start to finish.

"You!"

Si Junyan shook with rage. "You lot, teach him a good lesson for ! I’ll pay you double!"

The bodyguards cracked their knuckles, eager to begin.

"I’d like to see who dares to lay a finger on him!"

Jian Xi returned, stepping behind Si Yuhuan, her chin held high. "Si Junyan, haven’t you had enough of getting beaten up and thrown in jail? It seems the previous lessons weren’t enough for you. Has your arrogance made you think you actually rule Beijing now?"

"Jian Xi!"

Seeing this woman, the cause of his current predicant, Si Junyan clenched his fists so tightly they trembled. He gritted his teeth. "You’re asking for death!"

"Oh? And you plan to do that with these two subpar bodyguards of yours?"

Jian Xi scoffed and clapped her hands dismissively. Two hulking figures stepped forward. They were built like iron pagodas, their skin gleaming with a bronze luster.

Today, for the blind date, Jian Xi had brought her fifth brother’s ace bodyguards, fearing she might encounter so dangerous idiots.

"Miss Jian, your orders."

The two n cracked their necks, the sharp, intimidating sounds echoing ominously.

Si Junyan’s cronies, who had co along intending to watch the show, were now terrified and quickly turned to flee.

"Second Young Master, this is your family affair. It’s not convenient for outsiders like us to get involved. We’ll be leaving first."

With that, they vanished in a flash.

Si Junyan pointed at Jian Xi. "Fine, you’ve got guts. Just wait until you’re alone and fall into my hands..."

Before he could finish his threat, Si Yuhuan sent him flying with a kick, his handso face taut with cold fury.

"Si Junyan, if you have a problem, bring it to ! If you dare threaten her again, you’re courting death!"

"AAAHHH—"

Si Junyan, taking one hit after another, was about to explode with rage. "Si Yuhuan, I will settle this with you!"

Jian Xi looked towards the owner. "I’m buying your restaurant."

She handed over a card with no spending limit. "Have your n throw him out for ."

The owner, who had been suppressing a bellyful of malice, now felt emboldened by Jian Xi’s backing. Taking the card, he fiercely ordered the restaurant’s security, "What are you lot standing around for? Get him! Beat him up!"

A flurry of THUMPS and WHACKS erupted, Si Junyan’s agonized howls rising and falling with each blow.

Finally, he was thrown out. With a pained GROAN, he lost consciousness and collapsed in a heap.

The owner, showing a sudden burst of magnanimity, called out, "Soone, call 120 for the Second Young Master! Don’t let him actually die on us!"

Jian Xi let out a sudden CHUCKLE.

Watching her laugh, the corners of Si Yuhuan’s stern lips curved slightly upward. In just a few months, she had changed so much.

"Why didn’t you let your n handle him directly?"

"An eye for an eye is much more satisfying!" Jian Xi answered, her small face set in a haughty expression.

Si Yuhuan nodded. "You’ve learned a lot."

Previously, he was always the one teaching her how to handle matters. But now, she had blossod and could clearly stand on her own. Even the troubleso Si Junyan had suffered repeated hidden losses at her hands.

"Hmph!"

Jian Xi brushed past him and turned to leave.

Si Yuhuan stepped forward, but her two bodyguards stopped him. "Director Si, it would be best not to disturb Miss Jian. She’s had a very tiring day."
