Rembering how Dan Mingyao had provoked her by calling her ’Ex-Wifey Sis,’ Jian Xi retorted with a smile, "Well then, you must be ’Ex-Hubby Bro’!"
"Alright, still as feisty as ever—eloquent and sharp-tongued."

The bodyguards cracked their knuckles, eager to begin.
