"Enough!" Jian Xi growled irritably. "You can have this al; I’m leaving."

She had never intended to stay for the al in the first place.

Grabbing her coat from the side, she turned and walked away.

"Xixi!" Fu Shengyuan called after her.

But Si Yuhuan had already quickly followed her out.

When they reached the door, Si Yuhuan, who had rushed out behind her, grabbed Jian Xi and shoved her into his car.

Jian Xi struggled. "Si Yuhuan, what are you doing?"

He got into the driver’s seat and buckled Jian Xi’s seatbelt. "If you don’t want to provoke into a fury, just behave."

Always so domineering! Jian Xi clenched her teeth in hatred.

Si Yuhuan floored the accelerator and sped off. Half an hour later, Jian Xi found herself looking at Yuhan’s Sea View Villa.

"Take ho."

Si Yuhuan glanced at Jian Xi, his eyes colder than the night. "Your parents both like Fu Shengyuan?"

"Didn’t you see for yourself?" Jian Xi turned her head away.

"Jian Xi, I’ve told you, I will destroy anyone you dare to contact. Don’t think that just because he’s the president of Tianyao Group, he can back you up." Si Yuhuan was holding back his anger, his veins bulging. He would never allow anyone to defy him.

With her arms crossed over her chest, Jian Xi appeared unconcerned and laughed. "Go ahead, I’d be happy if you destroyed him!" If Tianyao Group were destroyed, she could take advantage of the situation and take it over – then Jian Group, Haohan Group, and Tianyao Group would all be hers. The thought made her happy.

Si Yuhuan frowned, looking at the excitent in Jian Xi’s eyes, and coldly sneered, "Wishful thinking." He suddenly cald down, realizing that Jian Xi didn’t care about Fu Shengyuan at all; she had no feelings for him.

"It’s just that you’re incompetent! You’ve had your chip developnt core team poached. Let’s see how you explain this to the entire board! Si Yuhuan, it looks like your ti at the top is over." She rcilessly rubbed salt into his wounds. According to intelligence, Si Yuhuan had been having a tough ti at Haohan Group recently.

"Are you trying to provoke ? I don’t accept this kind of concern," he said. He leaned closer, his handso face suddenly looming near, causing Jian Xi’s heart to flutter.

"’Psycho!’"

The orange glow from the street lamps fell on his face. His skin was so clear that not even a single pore was visible. A mory from what felt like another lifeti suddenly assailed Jian Xi: a glimpse of their college days, him rushing past under the sa orange street lamps. She had thought he looked so handso, his aura particularly charming. Damn it all, she had liked him so much, unable to stop herself.

Her heart felt as if it was being torn apart in pain, then her mind suddenly cleared.

Jian Xi pushed him away. "Si Yuhuan, you’re too full of yourself. One day your pride will be the death of you."

She pushed Si Yuhuan aside and got out of the car.

There wasn’t a single car around the Sea View Villa. His villa was as big as a castle, occupying half of the island’s coast. If Jian Xi had to walk out, she’d wear out her toes.

Still irritated, she got back into the car. "Take ho."

Si Yuhuan was both domineering and dangerous.

"This is your ho." Si Yuhuan picked her up and took her out of the car without further discussion.

"You bastard!" Jian Xi, unable to struggle free, pounded his chest with all her might, but her efforts were as ineffective as tickling. Si Yuhuan had already carried her into the house.

After putting Jian Xi down, he said, "Don’t worry, I won’t touch you, but I also won’t allow you to contact Fu Shengyuan again. Behave, stay here tonight, and I’ll let you leave tomorrow."

The commotion continued until almost 11:30 p.m. Her abdon faintly ached; the agitation had likely been too much, and the babies were probably protesting.

Jian Xi bit her lip, reluctantly warning, "If there’s a next ti, I swear I’ll kick your manhood."

Si Yuhuan followed her gaze to his lower body and frowned deeply. This woman has a violent streak; she needs to be cured!

He followed her to the second-floor bedroom, intending to correct her flawed thinking.

A throw pillow flew at him, but Si Yuhuan caught it with swift reflexes. "Attempting to murder your own husband."

"What kind of husband are you, you deadbeat scumbag who forgets his wife at the sight of another woman?" she retorted. Jian Xi was furious every ti she thought about how Jiang Qing hadn’t been dealt with yet. She should just cling to Fu Shengyuan’s arm and infuriate him to death.

The main door closed, and the sound of showering ca from inside. Si Yuhuan’s dark, perplexed face relaxed for an instant. Just as he turned around, he heard Jian Xi shout, "Si Yuhuan, save !"

Jian Xi was bleeding.

Si Yuhuan burst through the door to find Jian Xi, her bathrobe’s hem soaked with blood, his pupils contracting sharply. "I’m taking you to the hospital."

「In the middle of the night, Si Yuhuan rushed her to a private hospital.」

Her mind was in chaos, buzzing, and she felt a suffocating sensation, like drowning; her fingers wouldn’t stop trembling. After a series of examinations, the doctor removed the mask. "You arrived just in ti; otherwise, the child might have been lost. You have a thin uterine wall, so you’ll need to rest in bed for a while."

Seeing Si Yuhuan sitting outside the door, the doctor asked, "He is your husband, isn’t he?" She hadn’t forgotten what had happened last ti at the hospital; there had to be sothing fishy between the two of them.

Jian Xi pleaded, "We are already divorced, and I don’t want him to know about this child. He... has soone else and is going to get married soon." Although her words contained so fabrication to elicit sympathy, they were essentially true. Before, he had forced her into a divorce to marry Jiang Qing.

The doctor ca out. Si Yuhuan imdiately asked, "How is she?" He might not have even realized how obvious his subconscious concern was.

The female doctor hesitated for a mont, then replied, "Nothing serious, just severe stress causing nstrual irregularities and significant bleeding."

"Good, I understand," he responded.

As Si Yuhuan made to enter, the female doctor couldn’t help but add, "If you have ti, take good care of the patient’s emotions, and be more attentive in the future. It’s best not to let her get out of bed. Keeping her mood up is important. Otherwise, if she hemorrhages again, it could affect her future fertility." Seeing the lingering affection in the man’s eyes, the female doctor decided to play matchmaker. After all, it was always better for spouses to reconcile.

Si Yuhuan hadn’t expected it to be this severe! He opened the door to find Jian Xi frantically clutching her bloodstained bathrobe. "I told you I didn’t want to stay at your place! You insisted on bringing here. Now look, I almost died in your house."

For once, Si Yuhuan lowered his proud head. "It won’t happen again. I’ll listen to you from now on."

What kind of attitude was that?

Watching him drive to Fuyuan Official Residence, Jian Xi was sowhat incredulous. Had the man changed?

Unexpectedly, he stepped out of the car and carried Jian Xi straight into the Louwang she had purchased.

"What are you doing? I can walk by myself," she protested.

Si Yuhuan said sternly, "The doctor told to take good care of you, and I think she’s absolutely right. This is my responsibility. I will look after you until your follow-up appointnt shows you’re healthy. From today onwards, I’m moving in here to care for you personally."

"What are you talking about?" she asked.

Jian Xi was carried back to her room by Si Yuhuan.

After putting her down, ignoring anything she said, Si Yuhuan closed the room door and, surprisingly, went straight to the guest room next door.

No! Had she asked the doctor to make up an excuse to send this guy away? How did he end up being sent to her? She felt faint!
