Si Yuhuan seized her lips, wrapped one hand around her waist, and placed the other on her sensuous, firm buttocks, his large palm alternately caressing her lightly and firmly.

Jian Xi’s face flushed with anger, but no matter how much she struggled, she couldn’t free herself. Her body beca uncontrollably hot, and she even let out involuntary moans, which made Si Yuhuan’s blood boil.

Her response completely unleashed the man’s wildness. The fire within his body surged toward a particular spot, the heat radiating clearly to Jian Xi where their bodies pressed together.

Jian Xi, terrified by his actions, snapped back to her senses and bit down hard on his tongue.

"HISS—" Si Yuhuan, pained, was forced to break the kiss and glared at her furiously. "Attempted murder, is it?"

"If I could kill you without facing legal consequences, I would do it right away," she retaliated.

Jian Xi kicked him.

If Si Yuhuan hadn’t dodged quickly, he would have been kicked in a rather vulnerable spot.

This woman genuinely seed intent on destroying his lineage.

"Jian Xi, can’t you talk to nicely?" he asked, sounding sowhat disheartened, as she always had her bristles up around him.

"I have nothing to say to you. Your eyes are almost blinded by shit; you’d do well to get them treated. You believe anything Jiang Qing tells you. Are you not aware of how bright your green hat shines?" she sneered.

"If she could hook up with other bosses behind your back now, who’s to say she was clean during the years she spent abroad?"

"I fear your bright moon has long since turned into pot-bottom ash."

"You—" Si Yuhuan was helplessly at a loss with her sharp tongue.

"Sharp-tongued," he said resignedly.

Jian Xi shrugged indifferently. "Just a well-intentioned warning."

Si Yuhuan was dejectedly driven out of the Fuyuan Official Residence.

Yan Qing followed closely behind. "Director Si, do you want to check on Miss Jiang’s past years..."

"No need," Si Yuhuan said disinterestedly.

Even he hadn’t realized that he was no longer interested in Jiang Qing.

Si Yuhuan returned to the villa.

Jiang Qing imdiately trotted over to him.

"Yuhan, I’ve been waiting for you for a long ti. Even if you hit or scold , bla , or say whatever you like, just please don’t ignore ," she pleaded as she choked up, appearing close to death.

Si Yuhuan shook her arm off. "Qing, please go back."

His attitude was icy, like frost, devoid of any warmth.

Jiang Qing was truly frightened.

Deep down, she cursed Jian Xi thoroughly, but for now, she could only swallow the bitter pill and continue to yield.

"I did this disgraceful thing for the good of you two brothers, but rest assured, I never considered doing anything inappropriate with them. At most, I just drank a little with them, handed out so money, and smoothed things over," she pleaded.

Si Yuhuan felt a headache coming on.

In his mind, he recalled Jian Xi’s words: "In Beijing, she can do these things without a care. Can you really be sure she was clean during the years she was abroad?"

He felt an inexplicable revulsion.

"You don’t need to worry about this matter, just go back," he dismissed her.

Yan Qing imdiately gestured for her to leave. "Miss Jiang, Director Si is very tired. Please, you should go."

Jiang Qing bit her red lip as tears fell heavily.

She knew that with Si Yuhuan’s temperant, no amount of talking would do any good now. Pestering him would only make things worse.

"Yuhan, I’m sorry," she said.

As Jiang Qing turned to leave, soone suddenly burst in.

"Director Si, it’s not good! Second Young Master Si got into a fight at the detention center. He’s now in the hospital, and it’s uncertain whether he will live or die," they reported urgently.

「...」

「In the hospital.」

Jiang Qing cried with a hoarse voice, deeply distressed.

"Junyan, it’s all my fault. I couldn’t save you in ti. If you don’t make it, I’ll give my life to you."

Old Master Si was sohow also alard.

He was wheeled in, sitting in a wheelchair.

Si Yuhuan went over anxiously to support him. "Grandfather, why did you co?"

He swept a glance at everyone around him, his presence exuding an austere chill. "Who has such a big mouth, daring to let this reach Grandfather’s ears? Do they not want to live?"

Jiang Qing clenched her fists tighter and knelt down. "Yuhan, I made the call to Grandfather. I was afraid that Junyan really wouldn’t survive the night, and he would probably want to see Grandfather the most."

Si Yuhuan glared at her furiously. "Don’t you know Grandfather’s health is poor?"

Jiang Qing bit her lip. How could she have a chance to turn things around if she didn’t get the old man here?

Even if it ant offending Si Yuhuan and being loathed, she had to bring Old Master Si here.

"But Grandfather wouldn’t want to miss the chance to see Junyan for the last ti either, would he!" Jiang Qing stubbornly refused to admit she was wrong.

Old Master Si bellowed, "Enough! I ca here on my own."

He gestured for Housekeeper Qi to help Jiang Qing up.

"How are things inside?" Old Master Si asked. He sighed deeply; after all, he was fond of this good-for-nothing grandson.

Yan Qing replied, "The doctor said the attacker was too heavy-handed, damaging Second Young Master Si’s organs. Fortunately, he was brought to the hospital in ti. However, the outco still depends on the resuscitation results."

"Who is it! Who has the audacity to lay hands on a mber of the Si family!"

Old Master Si was very angry.

Yan Qing lowered his head; he didn’t dare to speak.

Si Yuhuan also looked quite upset, and Jiang Qing deliberately fanned the flas. "Why don’t you speak? Who exactly is the person involved? Does Grandfather need to investigate personally?"

A bodyguard next to him blurted out, "Apart from Jian Xi, Miss Jian, who else would harbor such deep hatred and grudge against Second Young Master Si!"

"Jian Xi?" Old Master Si frowned, his face becoming very displeased.

He glanced at Housekeeper Qi. "Call her over to ."

Si Yuhuan couldn’t help speaking, "Grandfather, it has nothing to do with her."

Old Master Si raised an eyebrow.

Si Yuhuan’s expression chilled. "She doesn’t need to stoop to such despicable thods to deal with a mongrel. With her capabilities, it would be more satisfying to send Junyan to prison for eight to ten years through the court—no need to resort to taking a life."

"It seems you really believe in her character!" Old Master Si looked at him aningfully.

Si Yuhuan found it hard to back down. He coughed once, said nothing more, and just gave a nod.

Jiang Qing scoffed. She couldn’t believe Old Master Si would let this slide so easily.

The next second, she heard Old Master Si command, "Go, find out who is muddying the waters and framing others behind the scenes! With such clumsy thods, do they take us for fools?"

Housekeeper Qi was overjoyed, replied affirmatively, and promptly went to carry out the order.

Jiang Qing staggered, silently steeling herself against her disbelief.

Damn it! Why on earth would that old codger trust Jian Xi so easily!

「In the ergency room.」

The doctor, attending to the bedridden Si Junyan as he fiddled with his cellphone, was extrely cautious. "Second Young Master Si, I’ve told Director Si everything just as you instructed. Are you sure there will be no trouble?"

Si Junyan lifted his gaze coldly and snarled with a smile, "What? You were happy to take my five million, and now you’re scared?"

He got off the bed, looking at several stitched-up wounds, and lifted his chin. "Do as I’ve instructed, and we’re in the sa boat. Otherwise, if anything goes wrong with , you’ll all die a miserable death."

This mysterious person’s plan was good; he would surely find a way out of this desperate situation.

The doctors bowed and nodded. "Of course, we will never reveal a word. You were gravely injured, and only after our desperate efforts in treatnt did you finally wake up."

"Smart," Si Junyan complinted, a cold smile curling his lips.

The doctors nervously wiped their brows.
