Sang Wan couldn’t help but smile. Compared to the second aunt, Gu Fangzi indeed had more guts to act, and this comnt wasn’t unjust to her.
Soon, Gu Fangzi sent Yan Chunjia with the list of servant’s nicknas from Ningyuan.
"Miss has instructed to help you, Madam. If there’s anything you don’t understand, just ask ," said Yan Chunjia with unwavering eyes as she spoke to Sang Wan, assuming the role of the spokesperson for Miss.
At her words, Xingzhi, Hong Ye, and the other maids of Ningyuan all held their breath and listened expressionlessly, waiting to see how Sang Wan would respond.
"There’s no rush for this, you can go back first, I’ll look over it slowly," Sang Wan said with a smile.
"Miss said that my task today is to stay and wait for Madam’s inquiries, so I’ll just wait by the side while you take your ti," Yan Chunjia responded with a smile, her words flawless, yet her feet refused to move an inch, clearly showing no respect for Sang Wan.

Yan Chunjia hadn’t expected Sang Wan, who was always so gentle and soft-spoken and a new bride to boot, to be so dismissive of her, and her face reddened slightly in embarrassnt.
Confident with Gu Fangzi’s backing and sure that Sang Wan wouldn’t dare to chastise her, Yan Chunjia still refused to leave, shalessly trying to please with a smile, "Madam—"
"Xingzhi, Liu Ya! See Sister Yan out!" Sang Wan’s face darkened and her tone grew sharp when she saw that Yan Chunjia truly had no regard for her words.
Her clear order could not be ignored by Xingzhi, and Liu Ya was all too eager to comply. They both stepped forward, said "Sister Yan, please!" and without further ado, they pushed and shoved Yan Chunjia out the door.
The maids exchanged silent glances, recognizing that the new Madam’s kindness had its limits!

Mrs. Li quickly leaned forward to take the cup, exclaiming, "Madam, this is too much courtesy. You’re making feel quite uneasy!" She then sighed with regret, "What a sha that this old woman is of no use anymore and missed the young master’s and your great wedding day! Oh, what a pity!"
Having missed Shi Fengju’s wedding and not being able to witness him welco his bride into the ho was a true regret for Mrs. Li.

Mrs. Li smiled and said, "I heard that Madam is in charge of Ningyuan now? There must be many matters to sort out swiftly? That is certainly appropriate! From now on, the young master will rely entirely on you, Madam!"
Her expression dimd, and a hint of desolation crossed her eyes as she spoke with a sense old-world weariness.
Sang Wan took a ntal jolt in alarm! Before she beca part of the family, Ningyuan had been practically managed by Mrs. Li!

"Of course!" Sang Wan exclaid. "You are the young master’s wet nurse; as long as you wish, you are naturally welco back!" Sang Wan said with an embarrassed smile, "Miss Wan is thick-skinned and would like to learn more from you! Since you’ve looked after him since he was young, no one knows the young master’s moods, temperant, and preferences better than you!"
