Shi Yui glanced at Sang Wan with suspicion as she spoke.

These past days, Shi Fengju hadn’t set foot into the peony garden at all, and Gu Fangzi had really grown anxious. She had tried to get information indirectly from Shi Yui, only to hear that he was busy. Gu Fangzi knew that such words might deceive Shi Yui, but they couldn’t fool her. If he truly cared, how could he not find the ti?
Seeing that Shi Yui was so easily dismissed by Shi Fengju, and that she couldn’t help her at all, she had to resort to her only tactic: send Lan Xiang to invite him!
But Lan Xiang’s invitation was just that—after all, she was but a slave, insignificant if Shi Fengju chose not to regard her. She couldn’t tie Shi Fengju up and drag him to the peony garden.
Today was different, though. In front of Shi Yui, she stopped Shi Fengju and obsequiously smiled, "If the young master has ti, please go visit our miss! Our miss has been thinking of the young master all this ti!"
Shi Fengju felt even more disgusted and repulsed when he heard this. A woman in her mourning period, instead of properly fulfilling her filial duties, has been constantly thinking about another man in her heart—even if that man is himself, he felt no joy, only a chill.
Hearing that, Shi Yui also quickly pushed him with a laugh, "Exactly, you should go see Fangzi! Every ti I ntion it, you have sothing else to tell , I can’t win an argunt with you! Shi Fengju had no choice but to comply, thinking that if he didn’t make this visit, his sister would nag at his ears endlessly. So be it, let’s go!
So he turned, his face set sternly, and left.
Lan Xiang was imnsely pleased, quickly thanked Shi Yui with a bow, and hurriedly followed Shi Fengju.
