Mrs. Leng suddenly recalled the conversation from last night, "Ah, look at , Mochen had specifically instructed us not to bring it up in front of you, but here I am, saying it in a fit of anger! Sisi, don’t take it to heart!"

Li Si chuckled and shook her head, "Mom! It’s okay! Even if you don’t ntion it, the matter still exists, doesn’t it?

He’s already co knocking, how could I not think about it after hearing it? But, Mochen is really sothing! To be honest, I haven’t taken it too much to heart. Yesterday’s reaction was mostly because I was tired and exhausted."

Anyone would be affected physically and ntally by such ups and downs.

Mrs. Leng’s heart stirred, and her smile grew wider, "Right! You know well, I’m soone with a sharp tongue but a soft heart.

Sotis, I just worry too much! Regardless of how the Tian Family is making a fuss like clowns, we just need to calmly wait for the police to follow up."

Who cares about their fate!

The two of them continued chatting and entered the house with Buding in their arms, while at the villa district’s gate, a farce was unfolding.

Mr. Tian Sr.’s car was parked right in front of the villa’s entrance. Unable to get in, he refused to leave; he stubbornly loitered, refusing to budge.

The gatekeepers and security of the villa’s property managent were quite helpless about it. The families living here were either wealthy or influential, and none of them lacked money. As a result, their work had to be done cautiously, lest they offend anyone.

Especially the Leng Family. Who among them didn’t know that both the Leng Group and Mo Si belonged to them?

Yet trouble seed to follow their family!

Not long ago, two people stirred things up and nearly colluded with their nanny to kidnap the child, which led to complaints being filed against them.

Everyone on duty at the ti was reprimanded, so were fired, and others fined.

Following that, a woman from their relatives showed up to cause a scene, and even that bill was indirectly charged to them.

Hardly any ti had passed since those incidents, and now here cos an old man claiming to be the lady’s grandfather. Who dared let him in? Did they want to lose their jobs?

So no matter how eloquently Mr. Tian Sr. pleaded, whether with kind words or threats, it was useless.

The property’s security guards lined up behind the retractable gate, stopping him every ti a car attempted to pass through, preventing him from barging in.

Frustrated, Mr. Tian Sr. stepped out of his car and slapped his thigh. "Can’t you just make an exception? I really am Li Si’s grandfather! I only want to et her and say a few words, then I’ll leave! I promise not to cause you any trouble!"

The guards stayed put and waited for instructions from inside.

At that mont, the property manager’s voice ca through the walkie-talkie:

"Remove that man imdiately and don’t obstruct normal operations!"

The guards understood the order, realizing that the people inside refused to acknowledge this man. So pulled him aside, while others moved his car, enraging Mr. Tian Sr. so much that the veins on his forehead bulged. "You bastards, don’t drag ! I’m old, and if you push too hard, I’ll throw myself against your gate and die right here!"

The two security guards holding him back felt torn between helplessness and frustration. But, at the end of the day, whoever paid them was their boss.

Finally, they managed to move his car away from blocking the entrance. One guard kindly advised him, "Uncle, can you consider us workers for just a mont? Regardless of what relationship you have with the people inside, your actions disrupt our normal operations, and we’re the ones who lose our jobs because of it. We have wives and kids to feed, and losing our jobs ans starving!"

Mr. Tian Sr. stiffened his neck, glaring furiously at the group surrounding him. Pointing angrily at the guard who had spoken, he shouted, "Why should I care about your lives? My eldest daughter is still locked up! I must see Li Si today! You’re stopping , aren’t you? Fine, I refuse to leave alive! If you dare drag again, I’ll go throw myself against the cars. I don’t believe it; if soone dies, can you people escape responsibility!"

He vented all the frustration from his argunt with Tian Yaruo onto these people.

Yesterday, he had furiously berated Tian Yaruo, accusing her of neglecting Tian Yaru, yet her sharp rebuttal had left him speechless.

After she shouted at him, she stord off. Left with no choice, he had to swallow his pride and take matters into his own hands.

The thought of having to lower himself before the daughter of a rural man made his blood boil.

But he didn’t expect not even to make it past the gate, let alone et Li Si.

The security guards wore bitter, angry expressions. Dealing with soone as unreasonable as this old man, they couldn’t hit him, couldn’t curse him, and yet he infuriated them to the core.

At this mont, one guard noticed sothing and whispered, "President Leng’s convoy is coming back!"

Two cars in front and behind surrounded Leng Mochen’s vehicle in the middle.

Mr. Tian Sr.’s hearing wasn’t impaired, and his vision was sharp. He could imdiately discern the cars’ values among the convoy, identifying the black Maybach in the center as Leng Mochen’s ride.

Breaking free from the grips of the two guards, he impulsively hurled himself toward the sleek, black luxury car.

Today, President Leng’s driver was Old Du, who reacted swiftly and stopped the car in ti.

In the back seat, Leng Mochen’s body swayed slightly before stabilizing. Through the window, he coldly watched as the red-faced, furious Mr. Tian Sr. outside, a wry smile curling at his lips.

It didn’t take much to figure out what this was about—an attempt to plea to Li Si? What face or justification did the Tian Family have to act this way? Their lack of intelligence was astonishing!

That said, it seed they had been barred from entering. For once, the property managent had done its job well.

Old Du nervously asked, "President, are you alright?"

Leng Mochen replied, "Hmm."

Relieved, Old Du angrily rolled down the window and shouted at Mr. Tian Sr., "Are you insane? Why are you throwing yourself at the car like that?!"

Then, he turned toward the guards. "What’s going on here?"

Excitedly, Mr. Tian Sr. rushed forward to pound on the car window, only to be restrained by the guards who had quickly reacted.

"Let go! Is that Leng Mochen inside? He’s my granddaughter’s husband, I need to speak to him!"

The guards exchanged looks, waiting silently to see how President Leng would handle the situation.

Old Du didn’t know how to respond. Turning back, he looked to Leng Mochen for instruction. "President, what should we do?"

Leng Mochen lowered the car’s window, his chilly gaze boring into Mr. Tian Sr., "Are you even worthy?"

Being this close to Leng Mochen, whose aura was brimming with intense hostility, made Mr. Tian Sr. quail slightly.

But thinking of his eldest daughter, he forced himself not to et Leng Mochen’s eyes, stamring, "If not for , then for the sake of Li Si—she’s still Yaruo’s daughter, isn’t she? Can’t she show so rcy and let Yaru go? She doesn’t have much ti left... After all, they’re still..."

"And then what? To let her out so she can move on to targeting Li Si next? You’re utterly delusional. Let make this clear: she’s absolutely serving her ti in jail!"

Panicking, Mr. Tian Sr. blurted, "No, she won’t! She won’t! Besides, it’s not like anything major has happened to Li Si this ti. I beg you, please, just pity her..."

Leng Mochen sneered coldly, "Keep dreaming!" Then, he directed Old Du tersely, "Drive!"

"Yes!" Old Du imdiately replied.

Watching the convoy drive away, Mr. Tian Sr.’s knees buckled beneath him, nearly causing him to collapse. He had long anticipated this outco upon coming here, but still couldn’t let go of hope, always believing there was room for negotiation...
