Tian Yaru glared venomously at the group, sneering coldly, "You’re all Little Li Si’s lackeys. If you don’t get out of my way, I’ll ruin you right along with her!"

She didn’t mind hurting a few more people, but the sulfuric acid in the bottle was limited. Her target wasn’t these people.

At this mont, Yin Xian received a look from Jiang Tong and understood that he was being signaled to speak and divert Tian Yaru’s attention.

"Auntie! Calm down, calm down! If nothing else, think about Weiwei’s situation!"

Tian Yaru froze for a mont. Weiwei! Her Weiwei!

Thinking about her daughter, her chest clenched in pain. Weiwei ca back to the hospital room yesterday looking utterly disheveled. She asked what had happened, but Weiwei wouldn’t say, only insisting she had just tripped and fallen.

Anyone with eyes could see: how could a fall cause injuries like that? Blood stains at the corner of her lips?

She must have suffered so sort of grievance. Thinking about the person most likely to be behind it now, surely it was Li Si, who always managed to strike from the shadows during her monts of glory.

Tian Yaru scread at the top of her lungs, "Yin Xian! You bastard! Heartless man! How dare you even ntion Weiwei to ? If it weren’t for you, would my daughter have fallen to such depths now?

Why couldn’t you marry anyone else? Why did you insist on marrying Li Si’s sister? She suggested it, and you just agreed—always nodding along to her whims. For what? What does she have that makes her worth this?

Yin Xian! You disappoint ! Do you think Li Si is so sort of saint? The purer she acts on the surface, the filthier she really is behind closed doors!"

Yin Xian, both frustrated and anxious, waved his hands to explain, "Auntie! You’ve misunderstood! being with Leng Mo has nothing to do with Li Si! She..."

Tian Yaru’s eyes widened in disbelief, "What did you just say? You’re lying! Weiwei clearly said..."

She couldn’t believe that Weiwei would lie! Yet deep down, she began to sense sothing was off.

She had overheard her daughter crying and confiding in Tian Yaruo about this matter. Could it really be untrue?

Jiang Tong seized the mont when Tian Yaru’s focus was drawn to Yin Xian, taking action to snatch the bottle. The other four coordinated swiftly and seamlessly to assist.

In an instant, the scene beca extrely perilous. The sulfuric acid in the IV bottle could spill onto their hands or bodies at any mont during the struggle.

But no one hesitated!

Because deep within their hearts burned a profound sense of duty—not just for Li Si but also an abhorrence and defiance against this vile tactic.

Tian Yaru was, after all, just a woman weakened by illness.

In the chaotic tussle, Yin Xian eventually joined in to help.

Tian Yaru was finally subdued, and the IV bottle snatched forcibly from her grasp.

However, during the struggle, two of the bodyguards were splashed with droplets of sulfuric acid on their hands. Even so, they didn’t bother to check the extent of the injuries, enduring the searing pain as they restrained the frenzied Tian Yaru.

Never in her wildest dreams did Tian Yaru expect the bottle would be taken away, that she’d be subdued like this. She thrashed wildly, roaring in fury, "Let go! You sons of bitches! Bastards..."

None of them dared let go. One of them hurriedly carried the sulfuric acid IV bottle far away, fearing another mishap.

Tian Yaru scread and wailed with profound resentnt, trying to chase after it, "Give that back! You, give that back to !"

She wanted to destroy Li Si!

The way she was shrieking her heart out made her look no different from a deranged lunatic.

But losing the bottle of acid was like having the fangs plucked out of a venomous snake; aside from her screams, what harm could she possibly do?

Seeing that the scene was now completely secure, Li Si, Bai Shasha, and Leng Mo sprinted back.

Jiang Tong instinctively stood beside Li Si, shielding her, and asked with concern, "Madam, are you alright?"

If anything had happened to Li Si, he wouldn’t be able to shirk responsibility.

Forget about how Mr. Leng might respond—even Jiang Tong wouldn’t be able to forgive himself.

Li Si shook her head, "I’m fine! Quick, check their hands! Are the injuries serious?"

Their burns were the most urgent matter now. Judging by sight, the injuries didn’t look light.

This sulfuric acid wasn’t just any ordinary substance. Although she had spatial spring water that could help, initial treatnt was still necessary—especially since she couldn’t expose her powers here in public.

Leng Mo glanced at Yin Xian, whose hand had also been splattered with sulfuric acid.

Hurriedly grabbing tissue from the table, she wiped his hand and spoke soothingly, "Just bear with it!" Then she turned toward Li Si, "Second Sister-in-law! You two hurry and get dry cloths to help them wipe!"

An inscrutable emotion flashed in Yin Xian’s eyes as he silently watched her calm, composed face.

Li Si and Bai Shasha hurriedly grabbed cloth napkins from a nearby table and got to work.

Fortunately, the areas splashed were not extensive.

As Leng Mo continued wiping, she called out to one of the café’s male staff to fetch so baking soda.

"Huh? Oh! I’ll get it right away!" The man froze for a mont before turning on his heels and sprinting toward the kitchen.

The café patrons who had clustered in the corners started gathering now that the danger had passed.

Earlier, soone had already called the police as soon as the incident began.

"The police will be here any mont!"

Upon hearing that, a flicker of panic appeared on Tian Yaru’s face. She didn’t want to go to jail! She wouldn’t!

Though driven by the desperation to destroy Li Si, she hadn’t truly considered what would happen if she failed.

Despite her limited ti left to live, the thought of a cold, unfeeling prison struck terror in her heart.

But when she saw Li Si’s mocking eyes, she forced herself to suppress her fear. She consoled herself with the fact that no one had died or suffered grave injuries. Surely, the police wouldn’t be able to do much to her either!

Yin Xian’s face showed a hint of pity. He recalled hearing Ye Duowei talk about Tian Yaru’s condition—the best treatnt would have been to remove one side and follow up with chemotherapy, which might have extended her life by a few years. But she had stubbornly refused.

Now, all she could do was await the cancer’s tastasis. For her, the length of her remaining days was dwindling rapidly.

Being pinned down, Tian Yaru glared spitefully at Li Si, who had run up without even glancing her way. She gritted her teeth and scread, "Li Si! As long as I’m still breathing, don’t think you’ll ever have a good life!"

This attempt may have failed, but there will be another. She was determined to fight to the death.

Li Si shot her a gaze full of contempt, "What makes you think you have the right to say sothing like that? What have I done to you to warrant such hatred?"

She had already refrained from causing trouble for her countless tis—was that not enough? What more did she want?

If not for her recent distractions, Li Si honestly would have considered pursuing payback against the Tian Family. Were their lives too comfortable now?

Tian Yaru shouted indignantly, "What have you done to ? You think I don’t know? Let tell you! As long as Weiwei’s life is miserable, yours won’t be any better! You even got your sister-in-law set up with Yin Xian. Do you think I don’t see through your sches? Hah! I’m already a dying person. What do I have to fear? Even if I end up in prison, I’ll be out soon enough. And when I am, I’ll co back to make you pay!"

Hearing Tian Yaru call herself a dying person, Li Si only felt it was laughable. People are born destined to die, after all—it’s rely a question of timing.

Li Si sneered coldly, "So what if you’re dying? Do you think you’ll drag down with you?"
