Jin Jiachao moved quickly; within a few days, he found Li Si and discussed their "Rising Sun Plan" in detail.
Li Si followed him to handle so relevant procedures and signed a few authorization docunts, officially kicking off their work.
That evening, Buding, the baby, went off early to his date with sleep, his little mouth moving occasionally, perfectly synced with his milk-drinking motions.
Leng Mochen, freshly showered, mischievously stretched a finger toward his son’s mouth.
Imdiately, Li Si, sitting on the dressing stool lightly patting her facial skin for better absorption, noticed and exclaid, "What are you doing?"
Leng Mochen casually scratched Buding’s cheek with his finger. "Touching my son! What else can I do?"
"Hah! You think I didn’t see that?" Li Si rolled her eyes at him, unable to keep from teasing him—acting childish despite being a grown man.
Leng Mochen raised an eyebrow and chuckled, "What did you see? Tell ; I’m all ears!"
Saying that, he stepped behind Li Si, draping his arms over her shoulders.
Li Si tilted her head to look at him. "Were you about to stick your finger into our son’s mouth? That’s so unhygienic!"
Leng Mochen grinned mischievously, "I just washed my hands; they’re clean! Want to try it?"
And with that, he began attempting to push his finger toward her mouth.
She dodged left and right, calling out softly, "You rascal!"
But she failed to escape and ultimately fell victim to his antics.
It was just for a mont, as he quickly withdrew his finger before Buding could actually bite down.
Li Si, furious, wanted to get up and punch him a couple of tis, but he held her shoulders from behind, leaving her immobile.
"Little girl! Looks like I didn’t discipline you enough last night. Co on, let’s talk this through properly!"
"Get lost! My waist is about to break!"
Li Si struggled vigorously, but the disparity in strength was a bit too much to overco.
"Let massage it for you!" Leng Mochen said with faux sincerity, but his actions were rather bold and unrestrained.
In re monts, he had peeled her clothes off like unwrapping a dumpling.
Her fair skin, still carrying the fragrance and dampness of her fresh shower, made him instantly transform into a ravenous wolf, devouring her completely...
In the beautiful morning, Li Si and Leng Mochen lay nestled together in bed, and Buding was sound asleep in his crib, creating what should have been a peaceful, happy scene.
Suddenly, a jarring and urgent ringtone shattered the tranquility. Li Si woke abruptly from her dream, sleepily pulling away from his warm embrace, fumbling near the bedside table until she found her phone.
Leng Mochen also stirred awake, his husky voice murmuring near her ear, "Who is it?"
Glancing out the window at the dim light, it seed quite early.
"It’s Shasha!" Exhausted from last night’s intensity, Li Si’s voice carried a tinge of hoarseness and allure.
She pressed the answer button, "Hello?"
Leng Mochen hugged her from behind, his eyes still closed, savoring the warm and fragrant feeling.
On the other end, Bai Shasha’s lowered voice ca through, "Si, did I wake you up? I’m so sorry!"
Li Si opened her eyes and stared helplessly at the ceiling. "Sis! Enough with the apologies. What’s the matter this early?"
She had barely slept for a few hours and was feeling quite grumpy.
"Si, I want to ask you sothing! Tell , during the early stages of your pregnancy, what symptoms did you have? Was it just a missed period?"
The words caught Li Si off guard, stimulating her nerves so much she instantly sat up in excitent, rousing the previously cozy, half-asleep person next to her.
Li Si exclaid, "Symptoms? Shasha, are you pregnant? Where’s Xu Er?"
What fantastic news! Who would’ve guessed this young couple would act so quickly!
Bai Shasha’s hesitant voice ca through, "I’m not sure yet. It’s been several days overdue. Xu Er is out of town and won’t be back until tomorrow.
Si, do you have anything going on later? Can you co to the hospital with to check?"
She sounded a bit nervous about doing it alone.
"Of course! But you should test with a pregnancy strip first!" Li Si suggested. She actually wanted to ask Shasha about her period cycle but felt too embarrassed with Leng Mochen nearby.
"I’m too shy to buy one! Anyway, I looked online—it says tests might not work this early. Let’s go straight to the hospital; is that okay?"
Li Si thought it over and agreed. "Alright! No problem! Since it’s still early, grab so food and get ready. I’ll co by later to pick you up!"
"Sure! I’ll wait for you!"
After hanging up, Li Si was about to happily share the news when she noticed Leng Mochen had disappeared.
Looking over, he was already at Buding’s crib, playing with the now-awake little one.
She stretched her arms toward Buding, "My precious baby! Mommy’s sorry, did the noise wake you? Co, let Mommy hold you!"
Leng Mochen held the baby and shot her a glance, "What about ?"
"Oh, fine! Co, both of you for a hug!" Once Leng Mochen put Buding on the big bed, the family of three cuddled closely together.
Li Si couldn’t hold back her excitent. She gestured animatedly, "Honey, Shasha might be pregnant! That’s fantastic!"
Then she turned to Buding and said, "It was your godmother who called. You might soon have a little brother or sister!"
Leng Mochen coughed lightly, reminding her of her promise from last night.
Li Si quickly caught on and playfully clung to his arm, "Honey! I won’t be able to keep you company later, but I’ll make it up to you tonight, okay?"
"That’s more like it!" Leng Mochen arched an eyebrow and tapped her cute nose.
Li Si marveled, "Xu Er is impressive! They’ve been married for just over a month!"
"Yeah! Finally, a cause for celebration!" Leng Mochen smirked mischievously, thinking of Long Wu.
anwhile, Buding fussed impatiently, babbling loudly to grab attention. His dad had just scooped him up, seemingly forgetting sothing important.
Even when Leng Mochen teased him by tapping his nose, Buding kept grumbling unhappily, his expression visibly uncomfortable.
Li Si imdiately noticed what was off based on her son’s expression. She glared at him, "Did you forget to change his diaper?"
Leng Mochen rubbed his nose. "Oops... forgot."

Li Si and Bai Shasha went to the hospital together, but after a series of checks, it was confird that Shasha was not pregnant.
The doctor explained that hormonal imbalances due to stress and fatigue were likely causing her period to be delayed.
Upon hearing the results, both Li Si and Bai Shasha felt disappointed.
What a letdown! They really thought it was the real deal!
Looking back, it would’ve been better to confirm things with a test strip at ho first to avoid the hassle.
As they left the hospital, Bai Shasha was still visibly upset. "Si, how could it not be? I’ve been checking online, and my symptoms matched those of early pregnancy!
Fortunately, Xu Er isn’t ho, or he would’ve been needlessly excited too."
Ever since her marriage, Shasha had been hoping she might get pregnant soday. She’d even started taking folic acid the day after their wedding.
