Mrs. Leng held back for a long ti but ultimately didn’t say any blaming words.

"Exactly! We young people are petty; unlike you, Mom, who have the magnanimity of a pri minister!" Leng Ning imdiately responded with a double entendre, subtly flattering her.

Mrs. Leng tapped her forehead and jokingly scolded, "You slippery talker!" Then she turned to Li Si: "Sisi, why don’t you hold Buding for a while? This little one’s been mumbling ’Mama, Mama’ nonstop! He’s missing you!"

Li Si chuckled and took the clueless, grinning Buding from Mr. Leng, then looked up at Mrs. Leng, feeling slightly surprised.

The storm she had anticipated didn’t hit, leaving her unaccustod to this calm.

After chatting for a while, Buding stretched his little arms, wanting to go to the yard to play. Leng Ning enthusiastically volunteered to take him outside.

Mr. and Mrs. Leng, worried about her handling the child alone, followed her out.

While climbing the stairs, Li Si whispered to Leng Mochen, "She’s letting this slide so easily — do you think she’s brewing sothing bigger behind the scenes?"

You couldn’t bla her for overthinking; after all, the little monkey Xiao Guai had caused quite a fuss once before.

She had ntally prepared for a confrontation, only to have the topic dismissed completely!

Leng Mochen sweetly tapped her nose. "She won’t!"

Although he also found this surprising, the look Mr. Leng had given him was enough to give him a vague clue.

Just as they rounded the corner of the staircase, they saw Nanny Su and Su ng standing there with worried, guilty expressions.

Li Si quickened her pace and said cheerfully, "What’s with you guys?"

Don’t tell you’re still planning to apologize or sothing?

Nanny Su sincerely grabbed Li Si’s hand. "Sisi! Auntie must apologize to you! I truly didn’t an to tell your mother-in-law! Sigh!"

Even though her daughter had spent ages comforting her just now, saying that Sisi had said it wasn’t a big deal, she still felt deeply embarrassed.

Li Si earnestly reassured her: "Oh, Auntie, why are you still saying this? My mother-in-law didn’t even bring it up! Stop overthinking. Besides, this is sothing that was bound to co out sooner or later — it’s better that it ca from you. Really, it’s nothing! ng ng, go convince your mom!"

Su ng sighed wryly. "I’ve been trying for ages — no luck! But Sisi, are you sure your mother-in-law didn’t say anything?"

She found it hard to believe. Though she didn’t know much about her mother-in-law, anyone close to her own mother-in-law probably had a similar personality.

If such a thing had happened to her, no matter whose fault it was, the first person to be scolded and blad would definitely be her!

"Oh, why would I lie to you? If she said sothing, would we have co upstairs so quickly? Xiao Ning is with them playing in the yard. Peanut woke up yet? Let him go outside to play too! The sun isn’t too harsh at this hour."

Nanny Su and Su ng were both stunned; the matter had just passed like that?

The next day, they flew together back to Beijing. Bai Shasha quietly leaned close to Li Si and whispered, "Si, you and my mom tricked together! But thankfully you said what you did — otherwise, my expression wouldn’t have held up. But seriously, how infuriating! What kind of crap is this? Why did they think they could co to ss up my wedding?"

The more she thought about it, the angrier she got. Back then, when she broke up with Cao Yufan, wasn’t it because he cheated with ng Xi in the first place?

Later, she went to Beijing hoping for a change of environnt to heal, but unexpectedly t her true love, Xu Er.

When they confird their relationship, and Xu Er shielded her from a flying bottle only to recover in North City, Cao Yufan had disgustingly called her to et and ’talk.’

Now there’s a wedding, and they’ve stirred up such nonsense.

Li Si chuckled awkwardly: "I knew you’d feel this way, but let’s just let it go. You have a wedding to host tomorrow — don’t dwell on it. Why add unnecessary annoyance because of people who don’t matter?"

Besides, she thought, ng Xi probably won’t have a good ending anyway. Even if the child wasn’t lost and she successfully married Cao Yufan, yesterday’s events alone would surely make Cao Yufan’s mom resent her.

Mother-in-law and daughter-in-law relations were historically hard to handle, and with Cao Yufan being the kind of man he was, could such a marriage really promise happiness?

Bai Shasha muttered in frustration, "I know I shouldn’t think about it anymore, but every ti I picture Cao Yufan’s mom’s nasty face, I feel sick. And ng Xi — what a wretch. Her almost miscarriage has nothing to do with ! The most infuriating one is still Cao Yufan! He’s no good either!"

"Just wait until I run into them again. I swear, I’ll properly sort them out!"

Luckily, she only found out the truth from soone this morning before boarding the plane. If she’d learned last night, with her temper, she might have charged straight into Cao Yufan’s house in a rage.

If that had happened, the aftermath would’ve been disastrous!

Seeing her clenching her fists in anger, Li Si stopped her: "Alright, let’s talk about sothing else now, okay? You should be mindful of the setting — you can’t just say anything here! Don’t forget, your in-laws are on the plane!"

Bai Shasha hurriedly covered her mouth, glancing toward the doorway. She wasn’t sure if the soundproofing was good or not; who knew if soone might pass by and overhear, which would definitely make things uncomfortable!

"Fine! I won’t say it anymore! I’ll take a nap now; I’m exhausted from how Long Wu and the others wore out last night!"

Li Si lounged comfortably on the bed, grinning mischievously as she stared at Shasha’s neck. "Tsk, tsk! I bet it wasn’t just Long Wu and them, huh? Isn’t the real culprit soone else? Hmm? Co on, tell — how many tis last night?"

From her radiant complexion and intimate marks, it was clear she’d been quite well taken care of.

Bai Shasha blushed furiously, covering her neck with both hands and glaring at Li Si: "Si, you’re so naughty! I’m not talking to you! Hmph!"

Turning her back to her, the tirelessly chattering Shasha finally quieted down, having buzzed around Li Si nonstop since boarding the plane.

Li Si noticed that Shasha had beco quite the gossip after her marriage, asking shalessly bold questions without hesitation.

Shaking her head with a laugh, Li Si felt her ears clear at last, allowing her to rest for a mont. mories of last night caused her cheeks to flush faintly.

However, Shasha turned back not long after, looking bashfully at the resting Li Si while grinning: "Si, you’re not mad at , are you?"

Li Si opened her eyes suddenly, her gaze mischievous: "If I were angry, would you tell the answer anyway?"

She had asked just to tease her, not expecting Shasha to reveal much.

Bai Shasha bit her lip, leaned in close, and whispered in her ear: "Three tis! Is that too few?"

She recalled those romantic movies where couples didn’t stop all night.

But still, she had reached the peak she wanted — the only issue was the frequency wasn’t as high.

Li Si couldn’t hold back anymore, bursting into uncontrollable laughter. After a good laugh, she finally replied, "Haha! You’re incredible! Three tis and you think it’s not enough? Your stamina is really..."

Bai Shasha hushed her quickly. "Keep it down! Do you want everyone to know? Three feels too few, doesn’t it? I rember hearing people talk about ’seven tis in one night’ before!"

Seven tis in one night!! Li Si stared at her speechlessly. "Sis, how desperate are you?"

This revelation really made her see Shasha in a new light!

"Get lost! It’s our honeymoon, okay? Well, tell about you! How many tis in a night? Let guess, your Cold Mochen must be good for four tis, easy..."

Li Si: "..." Could she pretend she hadn’t heard that?
