Su ng wiped her tears and continued, "Sisi, don’t cry! Now that I’ve told you all this, I feel a lot better. Even my mom doesn’t understand , always thinking I’m siding with my mother-in-law and not standing by her."
"Maybe it really is my fault! It was foolish of ! I didn’t realize my own worth and thought love could solve everything. How could marrying into a wealthy family be easy? If I were alone, wouldn’t all these conflicts and tensions disappear?"
Li Si helped her wipe her tears. "You! I think you’re overthinking this. So things need to be discussed with him. Let him understand. n, after all, are often quite oblivious! ng ng, I think you shouldn’t keep everything bottled up, suppressing yourself."

Suddenly, the door burst open!
Both Li Si and Su ng were startled!
It wasn’t anyone else who had entered—it was Long Wu, with a serious expression!
Today he had finished his errands and checked the ti, thinking he’d co ho to have lunch with Su ng. He had noticed her looking upset lately and wanted to cheer her up.
He really hadn’t expected that while he wasn’t aware, Su ng had been silently enduring all of this by herself!
Seeing her recent weariness and gloominess, he had thought it was due to her pregnancy entering the later stages, causing poor rest.

He hadn’t expected that he had misjudged, thinking his mother had already let go of past biases and truly accepted Su ng.

Su ng hurriedly grabbed Li Si’s hand. "Sisi! Don’t go!"
She still hadn’t figured out how to face Long Wu.
The words she had just said to Li Si had spilled out naturally, but when facing Long Wu, a sliver of uncertainty erged.
She wasn’t sure if he would even believe her. Even if what she said was true, would he still side with his mother?
She feared an outco that wouldn’t align with her hopes.
That kind of outco would truly break her. It’d be better to continue living in this muddled state!
Li Si could sense Su ng’s emotions; her hand was starting to hurt from being gripped so tightly.
"ng ng! How about this—I’ll wait downstairs in the living room! I won’t leave, alright?"
She was genuinely worried that if she forced her way out, Su ng might feel devastated.
Anyway, if she ran into Mrs. Su, she could take the opportunity to offer her so comforting advice.
Sotis, overly oppressive love could suffocate a person.

He had thought that with both his mom and Su ng’s mom around—and so many people taking care of her—everything would be fine.
He hadn’t expected so much had gone on in her life, things he was completely oblivious to.
He had even been deeply touched by his mom’s occasional acts of humility and had ordered Su ng to respect and honor her wholeheartedly!
