Xu Er’s parents were different from the ti she t Cao Yufan’s family; she wasn’t familiar with them at all and had no idea whether they’d like her or not.
Especially with Su ng’s example right in front of her, she was even more worried. What if they turned out to be like Long Wu’s mother? Given her personality, she’d probably storm off imdiately, causing an awkward scene.
Li Si tilted her head in thought and, seeing Shasha’s nervous expression, teased her, "Shasha! Are you seriously nervous? That doesn’t seem like you at all!"
Bai Shasha let out a sigh and pretended to be relaxed, "Saying I’m not nervous would be a lie! It’s the first eting between the ugly duckling and the future in-laws, you know! I’m just worried—what if his parents don’t like and oppose us?"
