Yin Family.
Mrs. Yin struggled to suppress the fury in her heart, but as soon as she arrived ho, she exploded at Yin Xian!
"Look at the ss you’ve made! What kind of people are you bringing into this house?"

Father Yin was equally furious, and he unleashed an epic tirade at Yin Xian, scolding him until the atmosphere practically ignited.
By the end of the scolding, he nearly escalated into physical violence. Thankfully, Yin Xuan and Mrs. Yin stepped in to hold him back.
Beibei had long been taken back to Yin Qi’s room. The child was exhausted after being swept up in this chaos, and Yin Qi stayed with him until he fell asleep before heading downstairs.
By the ti Yin Qi reached the living room, only Yin Xian and Yin Xuan were sitting there, staring blankly at each other.
"Where are Mom and Dad?" Yin Qi asked as she took a seat next to Yin Xuan. Glancing at her brother’s darkened face full of sha, she sighed inwardly. Today’s events must have been utterly tornting for him.
"They went back to their room to rest. Mom was really upset—she took her dicine before heading back," Yin Xuan replied, then cast a sideways glance at Yin Xian. She couldn’t help but bla him in her heart: if her brother had a better sense of judgnt, none of this would have happened.
Even their father had said earlier, "Thank goodness our relatives and friends weren’t here for this spectacle. Otherwise, I wouldn’t even be able to show my face in public! What an utter humiliation!"
"Alright, Xiao Xian, don’t take it too hard. This isn’t entirely your fault—it just happened because of your choices. It’s normal for Dad and Mom to be angry. Once they’ve cooled down, everything will pass," Yin Qi said, adopting her role as the elder sister to comfort Yin Xian.
She was already worn out from dealing with Ye Duowei’s torturous antics; now this incident piled on top of that, and she genuinely feared her brother might lose control or give up entirely.
Yin Qi couldn’t help but recall the faces of Mrs. Wang and her daughter Wang i—it was absolutely revolting. To do sothing so disgraceful and yet have the nerve to expect others to turn a blind eye? Unbelievable.
Thankfully, she had finally vented so frustration by kicking them. Those few kicks had been delightfully satisfying!
At that mont, Yin Xian’s phone rang suddenly. When he checked, it turned out to be Jia Yuejing. Oddly enough, Yin Xian felt a sense of relief—thank goodness Jia Yuejing didn’t know about today’s engagent debacle!
If Jia Yuejing had been there to witness this farce, Yin Xian wasn’t sure he could face him again!
It was beyond humiliating.
Last ti they t, Jia Yuejing had kindly advised him, saying that maybe Wang i wasn’t the right match for him and could potentially be worse than Ye Duowei.
At the ti, Yin Xian had been annoyed, snapping back with harsh words and dismissing the advice entirely.
Who would’ve thought that Jia Yuejing’s warning would turn out to be so accurate!
Not to ntion how embarrassing it was—he had rushed into getting engaged to Wang i just a few months after divorcing Ye Duowei. He hadn’t even inford Jia Yuejing or other friends, keeping it quiet until the wedding invitations would be sent out later. That silence turned out to be a blessing in disguise.
Yin Xian offered an awkward smile toward his sisters before stepping outside to take the call.
As soon as the call connected, Jia Yuejing teased him, "Hey buddy! Took you long enough to answer—did I interrupt sothing important?"
Yin Xian sighed helplessly, "What could you possibly be interrupting? What are you up to?"
"What do you think? Killing ti, really. I was thinking of inviting you out for a drink. Free tonight?"
"Not today. I’ll call you later." Yin Xian quickly brushed him off and hung up.
When Yin Xian returned to the living room, the conversation resud where it had left off.
Yin Xuan curled her lips, "Big brother! Let this serve as a lesson for you. Next ti you look for a girlfriend, you better open your eyes wide! Seriously, look at Wang i’s mother—she’s a complete shrew! If it weren’t for our sister stepping in, she might have beaten up today. Look at the scratches on my face!"
Mrs. Wang’s claws had been vicious, leaving Yin Xuan’s face still burning with pain.
She even worried whether Mrs. Wang carried any germs—what if she contracted so contagious disease?
Yin Xuan was genuinely angry at her brother’s lack of action during the incident. Seeing Wang i cling to his leg like that, he hadn’t known what to do!
If it had been her, she would’ve kicked Wang i away in an instant. Trash like that deserved to be beaten badly!
And honestly, who was there to bla for this situation? It all ca down to her brother’s poor judgnt! First Ye Duowei, and now Wang i—she was dying to see what kind of person his next girlfriend would be.
Yin Xian clenched his fist tightly on his thigh, his heart full of regret. Thinking back to his ti with Wang i, he realized just how blind he had been to not see through her shaless and flirtatious nature!
Yin Qi nudged Yin Xuan, "Xiao Ning, stop making such a big fuss in front of your brother! It’s just a scratch. Don’t you rember how often the two of us used to get into fights when we were kids?"
She was genuinely worried that Yin Xuan’s words might make Yin Xian feel even worse.
"Xiao Ning, I’m sorry! Big brother made you suffer!" Yin Xian looked at his little sister with guilt, his heart aching for her injuries. It was all his fault, and if she ended up with a scar, he would feel guilty about it for the rest of his life.
Hearing Yin Xian’s remorseful tone, Yin Xuan felt a bit embarrassed and waved her hand dismissively, "Big brother, I was just speaking casually! It’s no big deal—it’ll heal in a few days. But speaking of that shaless woman, who do you think made that video? Oh! Wait—I just rembered sothing! Beibei said he saw Ye Duowei! Big brother, do you think it could’ve been her?"
Initially, when she and her sister returned and didn’t see Ye Duowei, they had breathed a sigh of relief, thinking it was a narrow escape.
Who would’ve expected things to explode like this afterward?
Yin Xian stood up abruptly, his eyes bloodshot with anger. "Ye Duowei? Was she there? Then it must have been her! Not only did she ruin the engagent, but she also dragged Wang i’s reputation through the mud! I’m going to find her and settle this right now!"
Yin Xian felt his fury surge like a flood, finally finding a target for release!
She was already his ex-wife—why couldn’t she just let go? Did she really need him to teach her a harsh lesson for her to stop ddling?
Without another word, he turned to leave, but Yin Qi rushed to catch up and pulled him back, urging, "Yin Xian, calm down! We’re not even certain Ye Duowei is behind this yet. Xiao Xuan and I didn’t see her ourselves; it was Beibei who said he caught a glimpse. What if the child was mistaken?
If you rashly confront her now, and she genuinely doesn’t know anything about it, your accusations will tip her off. If she decides to spread malicious rumors afterward, what will you do?"
Yin Qi truly feared her brother’s impulsiveness might make things even worse.
She knew all too well what Ye Duowei and her mother were like—they could turn any situation to their advantage, even if they clearly had no ground to stand on!
Besides, this scandal was still relatively contained—no one else knew yet.
If it blew up and Ye Duowei seized the opportunity to publicize it, wouldn’t everyone know that the Yin Family had beco a laughingstock?
Yin Qi’s words caused Yin Xian to hesitate. He wasn’t sure what to do—Ye Duowei and her mother’s conniving ways had left deep scars on him.
But to just let this go, knowing Ye Duowei was suspiciously involved, was equally unbearable!
Yin Xuan, weighing the consequences, suddenly had an idea. Her eyes lit up, "Big brother, why don’t we quietly head back to that hotel and figure out a way to check the surveillance footage? Then we’ll see if Ye Duowei was really there! If she was, we can plan how to deal with her!"
She couldn’t believe such a sche could leave no traces behind. There had to be evidence!
The siblings reached an agreent and split up to act. Yin Xuan, being resourceful, used a clever trick to gain access to the hotel’s surveillance system.
Sure enough, she found Ye Duowei disguised and sneaking around.
What enraged Yin Xuan even more was discovering from the surveillance footage that Ye Duowei had brazenly entered the engagent venue without being noticed by any of them!
Yin Xian was consud with rage at this realization. If Ye Duowei were in front of him now, he would abandon his principle of never hitting won and slap her hard across the face!
Fortunately, Yin Qi was nearby to calm him down, reminding him that even if they wanted to confront her, they had to first figure out where she was.
It was best to corner her properly.
