...

Everything was proceeding in an orderly manner when Liu Jiaqi inexplicably received a package today. When the servant handed it to her, she looked at the package addressed solely to Liu Jiaqi with no sender’s na and asked, "Who sent this?" For so reason, she instinctively felt sothing ominous.

The servant explained that the courier only said it was for Liu Jiaqi and didn’t even require a signature.

Liu Jiaqi, feeling sowhat frustrated, took the package and scrutinized it. Just as she did, her mother-in-law, Zeng Qiuping, ca downstairs and noticed. "What’s wrong, Qiqi?"

She approached warmly, linking her arm with Zeng Qiuping’s and pouted in complaint, "Mom, I just received a strange package. It didn’t have a sender’s na, only my na. Mrs. Chen said the courier didn’t even ask her to sign for it."

Zeng Qiuping casually waved it off. "Maybe they were just busy!"

Liu Jiaqi thought that might be the case, so she sat on the sofa and tore it open. Inside were several photos.

"What is it?" Zeng Qiuping put down the remote control and looked at her daughter-in-law, who was now frozen with shock.

Liu Jiaqi could hardly believe what she was seeing in the photos: her faithful husband Leng Mohao and so shaless woman, caught in the act.

Her mind buzzed like thunder, leaving her utterly blank.

Noticing her unusual expression, Zeng Qiuping quickly got up and leaned over. "Qiqi, what’s wrong?"

As she spoke, she took the photos from Liu Jiaqi’s hands and looked at them carefully. Even without her reading glasses, she could clearly recognize her son in the pictures.

She furiously flung the photos aside and quickly tried to console Liu Jiaqi. "Qiqi, these—these must be fake! You’re young; you definitely know about those new photo manipulations, right? These pictures must be the work of so malicious woman trying to stir things up, to make you misunderstand Mohao and cause a rift between you two! So that she can..."

Liu Jiaqi understood imdiately. It seed plausible. Even though Leng Mohao was now married to her, he still had plenty of charm in the eyes of other won.

Besides, he was already in his thirties when they t. How could his romantic past be completely empty? She just didn’t know much about it in detail, that’s all.

Her own father, Liu Yisi, had a notorious reputation outside, and her mother was fully aware yet chose to turn a blind eye at tis. At this age, such things were not entirely unheard of.

But now that it had landed on her own shoulders, she felt furious and deeply hurt. If it weren’t for her mother-in-law’s reminder, she would’ve stord off to confront Leng Mohao directly.

"Mom, what do you think we should do about this?"

"Qiqi, I’m not one to brag about my own child, but Mohao genuinely has no interest in won. You should know, before he t you, all he ever did was work, work, work—all day long. Even his grandfather complained about it several tis.

But he wouldn’t listen, always burying himself in his career. Luckily, he t you. So, you must trust Mohao and your own judgnt, okay? He’s not the kind of man who behaves recklessly. He’s nothing like my brother-in-law’s son, Leng Mochen, who hadn’t even gotten married before fathering such a scandalous child with another woman."

Thinking about Leng Mochen and Li Si, Liu Jiaqi felt sowhat comforted. She reminisced about when she first got to know Leng Mohao—he truly was as she rembered. Even during their initial dates, they were often half work and half socializing.

Seeing her expression improve, Zeng Qiuping breathed a sigh of relief. For now, she could only comfort Liu Jiaqi. She’d need to ask Mohao what really happened later.

Inwardly, though, she felt so resentnt toward her son. Couldn’t he have been more discreet? Honestly, she didn’t care if he had a few flings outside. But now, not long after getting married, he’d ssed up like this. If Liu Jiaqi truly couldn’t tolerate it and it reached her father, how could they resolve it?

n can get away with all sorts of behavior outside, but if a son-in-law dares to cheat on soone’s daughter, do you really think they’d just let it slide?

Liu Jiaqi originally planned to let this issue rest and wait for Leng Mohao to co ho so she could hear his explanation.

But then, she noticed there was more in the package—there was a disc. A yellow note stuck to it read: "My husband and my happy sex life."

That line deeply stung her. Clearly, it was her husband. Yet this woman dared to write such a thing!

Zeng Qiuping was also dumbfounded. Why was there a disc too? Could this really be true? Did Mohao actually get involved with another woman, and was caught and fild?

Liu Jiaqi stood up and looked at her mother-in-law, tears streaming down her face. Heartbroken, she said, "Mom, how are you going to defend him this ti? No—I’m going to find Leng Mohao right now and get a straight answer!"

She knew her mother-in-law, no matter how kind she acted on the surface, would always side with her son in the end.
