On the plane, Li Si gazed out the window at the scenery and sighed, "This place is wonderful; I don’t want to leave!"

Over the past few days, waking up naturally every day, breathing in the fresh air, and seeing the endless azure sky and sea—these were experiences that couldn’t truly be appreciated without being here. No wonder this place is a top choice for honeymoons.

Leng Mochen closed his laptop and lovingly pulled her into his embrace. "If you like it, we’ll co back soti. How about that?"

"Okay! I still want to eat dirty duck, pork skewers, and roast suckling pig rice..." Li Si counted off on her fingers all the delicious foods she hadn’t had enough of.

"And we didn’t go diving, or do a spa..." If there had been more ti, she’d have wanted to try those too.

"Alright! Next ti we’ll do it all, so there’ll be no regrets, okay?" He coaxed her gently, patting her back like one would comfort a child.

Li Si eventually drifted off into sleep, while Leng Mochen carefully tucked the loose strands of her hair behind her ear. He gently caressed her cheek with his fingertips, his gaze brimming with love.

When she woke up, the plane had already descended, and she found herself back on the soil of Beijing. As they entered the terminal, their trip to Bali ca to a perfect conclusion.

Long Wu, dressed sharply in a dark gray suit, t them and couldn’t help teasing, "Welco back to the embrace of the motherland! Sisi, for soone who’s been to the seaside, it’s a miracle the sun didn’t tan you!"

Li Si’s skin was indeed remarkable. She only applied sunscreen casually; she was too lazy to reapply it every few hours, generally just using it once a day. Even so, her skin hadn’t noticeably darkened, especially her face, which remained porcelain white.

Leng Mochen wasn’t as lucky—his skin had taken on a bronze tone, looking rugged, manly, and alluring.

"Not bad, right? Maybe I’m just naturally resistant to tanning. Brother Wu, don’t be too envious!" Seeing familiar faces right after getting off the plane put Li Si in a great mood.

Even though Leng Er maintained his usual calm expression, you could tell from his eyes that his mood was fairly good too.

"Where are you two off to first? Brother Wu’s got to be the best; I ca here personally to pick you up!" Long Wu made sure to point out the favor he was doing, though he almost seed to forget his past antics.

Li Si glanced at Leng Mochen; the two of them had discussed their plans on the plane and decided that since it was already late, they’d go to Li Si’s house first today, and visit the Leng Family tomorrow.

"We’re heading to Sijia first. Want to tag along?" Leng Mochen knew Long Wu wasn’t being selfless.

As he’d hoped, Long Wu joined them on the trip to Li Si’s family ho.

In the car, Long Wu watched them through the rearview mirror. The couple was snuggled up in the backseat, whispering sweet nothings to each other. He couldn’t help interrupting, "Hey, you two! There’s soone up front, you know! Can you please tone down the PDA? This is giving a serious case of heartache!"

Li Si, blushing, pushed herself away from Leng Mochen, who had been clinging to her tightly since they got in the car. She sat straighter, leaned closer to Long Wu instead, and asked, "Brother Wu, how have things been with ng ng while we were away?"

"Ah, sa as always!" Long Wu exhaled a helpless sigh.

"Any news from Heizi?" Leng Mochen asked.

"None." The three of them fell into a brief silence.

anwhile, Su ng and her mother, having known about Li Si’s return, had already prepared a feast of dishes waiting for them. The oil-heavy food had already been properly cooked.

Li Si had called Su ng the mont she exited the airport, so during the ti it took them to drive back, Mrs. Su had been busy bringing dishes like braised pork, cola chicken wings, green beans with ribs, stir-fried potatoes with peppers and eggplant, and sweet-and-sour crispy pork out of the kitchen one after another.

As soon as Li Si and the others stepped inside the house, they were greeted by the enticing aroma of the food.

"Auntie! I’m ho!"

Li Si announced excitedly as she walked inside. Even though she’d loved Bali and hadn’t wanted to leave while she was there, stepping back into her family ho made her feel like no place in the world compared to ho. The table full of dishes and the warm atmosphere seed to imdiately dissolve all her exhaustion.

"Sisi, did the food abroad suit your taste? I wasn’t sure if you missed ho-cooked als, so I made a few dishes. If there’s anything else you want, just tell , and I’ll whip it up for you!"

Su ng’s mother truly cared a lot for Li Si. Although they hadn’t known each other for long, she had co to regard Li Si as though she were her own daughter, and her joy was entirely genuine.

Li Si warmly hugged Mrs. Su’s shoulders, saying, "Of course I missed ho cooking! These are all my favorites! And Mochen’s been craving them too! Isn’t that right?"

"Absolutely! Indonesian food is so different from what we’re used to here; it had us longing for your dishes, Auntie!" Leng Mochen chid in enthusiastically, giving her a heartfelt complint.
