“You clearly have mutual feelings with Tang Weiwei, so why did you pursue Cheng Lu instead?”
Xu Xiuwen shook his head and said, “I couldn’t help it. Cheng Lu is my white moonlight. I can’t give up on her.”
Hearing the words white moonlight, An Shishi paused for a mont, then a trace of envy erged in her heart.
Suddenly, An Shishi asked, “Hubby, you said Tang Weiwei hid it well during the first sester of freshman year. No one could tell she was a beauty. Is that true?”
Xu Xiuwen laughed, “Of course it’s true. Why would I lie to you? Back then, she had long bangs, always kept her head down, and wore thick clothes. No one had any idea she was so good-looking. I only found out by chance.”
An Shishi sighed regretfully, “Then the guys in your major must be dying of regret now that they know.”

Xu Xiuwen noticed her seemingly obedient deanor, but her eyes were darting around mischievously. Unable to hold back, he asked, “What sche are you plotting again?”
An Shishi pouted coquettishly. “Hubby, how can you talk about like that?”
After a pause, she continued, “I was just thinking about sothing.”
“What is it?”
“You and that Tang Weiwei… Did you two ever… you know, sleep together?”
Xu Xiuwen replied without hesitation, “No.”
An Shishi raised an eyebrow, half-skeptical, “Really? Would you be that honest?”
As Xu Xiuwen’s mistress, An Shishi obviously understood her “husband” very well. She had long realized that Xu Xiuwen was outwardly upright but inwardly flirtatious.
Every ti she wore black stockings, Xu Xiuwen would say sothing like “black stockings are just okay,” but his actions were far more enthusiastic and wild than his words.

Realizing this, An Shishi quickly stopped herself but still couldn’t suppress a chuckle.

Xu Xiuwen knew insisting on his “honesty” was a bit shaless, so he didn’t argue further.
An Shishi pressed on, “Hubby, why didn’t you two do it? Was it because she refused?”
Xu Xiuwen nodded, “Yeah.”
An Shishi scoffed, “Pretending to be pure, huh.”
Xu Xiuwen shot her a glare. “You think everyone is as slutty as you?”
An Shishi wasn’t angered by the insult.
She smiled seductively, leaned closer, and whispered in his ear, “I only act like this for you, hubby. Don’t you like it?”
“This is a hospital. Behave yourself.”
The mont he said that, An Shishi mischievously licked his earlobe.
Xu Xiuwen drew a sharp breath.
Seeing his reaction, An Shishi let out a string of bell-like laughter before taking a step back.
Her wide eyes blinked innocently, as if the teasing lick earlier had nothing to do with her.
If it weren’t for the fact that they were alone in the hospital room, Xu Xiuwen might have been fooled by her innocent expression.
An Shishi suddenly pouted and whined, “Hubby, I’m jealous.”
“Jealous of what?”
“I thought I was your only mistress. Turns out there’s soone else. I’m so heartbroken…”
She said she was upset, but there wasn’t a trace of sadness on her face.
Yet, Xu Xiuwen completely fell for it.
He said gently, “Shishi, it’s my fault. If you want to hit or scold , I won’t say a word.”
An Shishi suddenly replied, “I wouldn’t hit or scold you. I couldn’t bear to do that.”

Xu Xiuwen was deeply moved.
“Hubby~”
An Shishi called out sweetly.

“You’re hungry? Then hurry and eat breakfast.”

She lifted the blanket covering Xu Xiuwen’s hospital bed and crawled under it.

She said, “I want this.”
With just one sentence, Xu Xiuwen’s body imdiately froze.
He swallowed hard, quickly glanced toward the hospital room door, and nervously reminded her, “Shishi, stop ssing around. This isn’t the ti for that.”
An Shishi lay on his legs, slowly crawling upward.
The blanket shifted as she pushed it open with her head.
Finally, she poked her head out from his chest.
Her eyes were full of passionate intent, intensely captivating.
“But I want to. You haven’t kept company for so many days,” An Shishi pouted and whined.
It was true that Xu Xiuwen hadn’t been intimate with An Shishi for a while.
To be honest, he missed her, too.
But that didn’t an he wanted to do it right now, on a hospital bed!
Xu Xiuwen smiled bitterly, “Shishi, don’t ss around. I’m still injured. I can’t handle you being reckless. Wait until I’m healed, okay?”
An Shishi giggled, “I asked the doctor already. The doctor said you’re fine, that it won’t affect your recovery, as long as you don’t move your arms around too much.”
Xu Xiuwen froze. “When did you ask the doctor?”
“This morning. Before I ca over, I went to see the doctor first,” An Shishi replied.
Xu Xiuwen was completely speechless.
She didn’t co straight to his hospital room but went to the doctor first to ask if he could do that kind of thing.
This woman, An Shishi, really was…
She left him at a loss for words! If you said she wasn’t doing this on purpose, she sure seed like she was.
But what could he do?
He did fall for her antics.
After she said that, combined with her crawling onto him, his body betrayed him despite his words.
At this point, denying that he wanted her would be completely unconvincing.
The body is always more honest than the mouth.

She let out a wicked laugh, pulled the blanket over herself again, and slipped back under the covers.

Xu Xiuwen took another sharp breath, then stopped persuading. His entire body tensed up as he stared at the door of the hospital room, afraid soone might co in at that mont.
But sotis, things just happen to be that coincidental.
At that mont, a mature nurse wearing a white uniform and a nurse’s cap walked into the hospital room. There was sothing familiar about her, but that wasn’t the point. The point was that soone had entered the room, and An Shishi was still under the blanket.
Xu Xiuwen, who had been leaning against the bed’s headboard, imdiately propped up the blanket with his knees and tightly clamped his legs together the mont he saw the nurse. He said, “Nurse, sister, what brings you here?”
Hearing Xu Xiuwen’s words, An Shishi, hidden under the blanket, imdiately caught his hint and stopped what she was doing.
Xu Xiuwen’s legs bent as his knees lifted the blanket up, creating a small pocket of space underneath. An Shishi hid in this narrow space, kneeling on the bed with her body bent forward and lying on Xu Xiuwen’s legs. It wasn’t flawless—there were gaps that might expose her—but as long as the nurse didn’t look too closely, it wouldn’t be easy to spot her right away.
Still, Xu Xiuwen remained nervous, staring at the nurse with worry that she might discover An Shishi.
Fortunately, the nurse didn’t seem to consider that anyone else might be hiding under the blanket. Xu Xiuwen’s words had successfully diverted her attention.
Hearing Xu Xiuwen’s greeting, the nurse smiled faintly and said, “At my age, I could easily be your mother, and you’re calling sister? Heh... Are you this sweet-tongued with every girl you et? “What’s wrong? Are you feeling unwell?” the head nurse asked with concern.
Xu Xiuwen shook his head and replied, “No, I’m fine. I feel great. By the way, nurse sister, when can I be discharged from the hospital?”
“You’re such a kid. I’ve already told you I’m more than ten years older than you, yet you keep calling sister.” She sighed but relented, “Fine, fine, call whatever you like. Soone will co to change your bandages later today. You’ll need to stay a few more days. If your wounds get infected, we’ll be able to address it imdiately.”
“Alright, thank you, nurse sister.”
Hearing Xu Xiuwen call her “nurse sister” again, the head nurse gave him a deep look before smiling and walking out of the hospital room.
It seed that, although she feigned annoyance, deep down she still preferred being called “sister” rather than “auntie.” Won like her always said one thing but ant another.
Xu Xiuwen didn’t dwell on the head nurse for long. He was more bothered by the thought of having to stay in the hospital for a few more days. But what annoyed him the most wasn’t being hospitalized—it was An Shishi.
Once the door to the room closed, Xu Xiuwen imdiately glanced down toward his legs. He whispered, “Shishi, stop ssing around. Just stop.”
An Shishi lifted the blanket again, letting so light into the otherwise dark space underneath. She looked up, eting Xu Xiuwen’s gaze directly.
She playfully licked her tongue before ignoring whatever Xu Xiuwen had to say. Lowering the blanket back down, she buried her head and continued what she was doing.
Realizing that persuading her was futile, Xu Xiuwen simply gave up. He closed his eyes and began to enjoy it.
Who knew how much ti had passed, but suddenly, An Shishi threw the blanket aside and jumped off the bed. Covering her mouth, she rushed straight into the bathroom.
Shortly after, the sound of a toilet flushing and water being gargled ca from inside.
Before long, An Shishi walked out of the bathroom. She looked at Xu Xiuwen with a half-smile and asked, “Why are you staring at like that?”
Xu Xiuwen asked, “Did you just throw up into the toilet?”
Instead of answering directly, An Shishi shot back, “What else was I supposed to do? Swallow it?”
Xu Xiuwen awkwardly replied, “But you were the one who said you were hungry...”
Seeing the embarrassnt on his face, An Shishi couldn’t help but giggle. Rolling her eyes playfully, she walked back to the bed and asked, “Satisfied now?”
It was hard for Xu Xiuwen to lie and say he wasn’t satisfied, because it had indeed felt good. However, Xu Xiuwen was stubborn as always. He said, “You can’t just do sothing like that next ti. What if soone walks in and catches us?”
An Shishi pouted and said teasingly, “Who’s going to co in?”
Yet just as she finished speaking, a knock sounded at the door.
“Knock knock knock!”
Both of their expressions tensed up imdiately. An Shishi quickly straightened her clothes and smoothed out the blanket at the foot of the bed, making sure there were no signs of anything unusual.
After carefully checking that everything looked normal, Xu Xiuwen finally said toward the door, “Co in.”
The next second, the door opened from the outside, and Bai Yue’er walked in.
Seeing Bai Yue’er, Xu Xiuwen was montarily stunned before smiling and saying, “Yue’er, you’re here?”
It had been a while since he’d last seen Bai Yue’er. Now, she looked even more pure and adorable.
Lately, Bai Yue’er had been spending most of her ti with Hang Fei promoting their projects, while also giving nurous dia interviews and attending important events. Although Bai Yue’er was still herself, she was no longer the naive girl who had just stepped into the entertainnt industry, knowing nothing.
After entering the hospital room and noticing another woman present, Bai Yue’er froze for a mont. She quickly regained her composure, hurried over to Xu Xiuwen, and asked nervously, “Xiuwen, are you okay? How are you feeling? Are you getting better?”

A wave of jealousy began to stir in her heart.
