Tang Weiwei rested her head on the table, her face flushed with embarrassnt and unable to et anyone’s eyes.

Bai Yue’er, standing nearby, looked on with confusion, not knowing what was wrong.

After a long pause, Tang Weiwei finally lifted her head and glanced at Xu Xiuwen.

Although she didn’t say anything, her expression conveyed a hint of grievance.

Xu Xiuwen didn’t explain either; he simply patted her head gently.

After school in the afternoon, Xu Xiuwen said to the girls, “I’ve already made a reservation at the restaurant. I’ll drive you there.”

The four girls from Class 601 were slightly surprised but made no objections.

Bai Yue’er said, “We need to go back to the dormitory first.”

Shen Minyao added, “I need to go back as well.”

Eventually, all four girls returned to the girls’ dormitory building, while Xu Xiuwen parked the car downstairs and waited for them alone.

Soon, the girls ca down together.

Except for Tang Weiwei, who was still in her school outfit, the other three had changed into new clothes.

Although Su Yanyan’s looks were slightly less striking, Bai Yue’er and Shen Minyao were both campus beauties.

Their appearance imdiately attracted many male students’ attention.

However, despite the boys’ gazes, the girls all got into Xu Xiuwen’s car.

The boys, peering through the car windows, saw the man in the driver’s seat with envy, thinking how lucky he was to have both a car and beautiful company.

Once the girls were in the car, Xu Xiuwen didn’t hold back on complints, praising them from head to toe.

After a barrage of flattery, the girls were all smiles.

They soon arrived at the western restaurant Xu Xiuwen had reserved.

At the entrance, Tang Weiwei showed signs of nervousness.

Xu Xiuwen understood this was her first ti in a western restaurant and her unfamiliarity with the environnt was causing her anxiety.

Without saying a word, he gently held her hand.

Shen Minyao, having been to western restaurants many tis in her childhood, was quite familiar with them.

Su Yanyan, from a wealthy family, frequently dined at western restaurants and thus was very relaxed.

Bai Yue’er, although she hadn’t been to a western restaurant before, remained calm and composed.

Xu Xiuwen had booked a table by the window with a particularly great view.

The side was lined with floor-to-ceiling glass walls, offering a panoramic view of half the city.

The neon lights stretched like long dragons, dazzling to the eyes.

After ordering from the server’s recomndations, Xu Xiuwen took out a birthday gift.

Tang Weiwei, this ti, did not refuse.

She took it but didn’t open the gift box imdiately.

Bai Yue’er, standing by, kept urging her to open it.

Reluctantly, Tang Weiwei opened the box.

When she saw a delicate pink ladies’ watch, she was montarily stunned.

The exquisite watch easily hinted at its considerable price.

Just as she was about to say sothing, Xu Xiuwen cut her off.

“Although this gift might be inexpensive, I really like its appearance and hope you do too, Weiwei.”

The girls were not naive and could tell the gift wasn’t cheap, but since Xu Xiuwen said so, no one exposed the truth.

Bai Yue’er urged Tang Weiwei to put on the watch.

Seeing she was hesitating, Xu Xiuwen took the watch and put it on her wrist himself.

The delicate watch looked very beautiful against her fair, slender wrist.

Xu Xiuwen smiled and complinted, “Weiwei, this watch suits you very well.”

Tang Weiwei looked at the watch on her wrist and was quite pleased.

She montarily set aside her concerns about the price and smiled at Xu Xiuwen, saying, “Thank you.”

Xu Xiuwen reached out and patted her head, jokingly saying, “You don’t need to thank .”

The three girls watching the scene, whether it was the exquisite watch or the affectionate gesture between the two, felt a pang of envy.

He sensed the tension in the air.

Turning his head, he noticed Bai Yue’er’s expression.

So, he quickly changed the topic and asked, “It’s not just giving gifts; what about yours?”

As soon as he finished speaking, Bai Yue’er was the first to roll her eyes.

She huffed, “Of course we have prepared sothing.”

With that, she pulled out a gift box from behind her.

The gift box was rectangular, about the length of a hand and as wide as three fingernails.

Xu Xiuwen didn’t know what was inside and couldn’t guess, so he asked, “What did you get?”

Bai Yue’er snorted at him, “I’m not telling you.”

Xu Xiuwen ignored her and turned to Tang Weiwei, saying, “Weiwei, hurry up and open it. If it’s sothing like a hair tie or a bracelet, we’ll send her back and won’t invite her to dinner.”

Hearing Xu Xiuwen’s comnt, Bai Yue’er imdiately got irritated.

“Xu Xiuwen, why are you so annoying? Am I really that petty?”

Xu Xiuwen laughed, “Who knows?”

Bai Yue’er pouted, looking like she wanted to bite Xu Xiuwen.

Tang Weiwei didn’t notice the exchange between them and said with a smile, “As long as it’s from Sister Yue’er, I’ll like it.”

“Go ahead and open it,” Xu Xiuwen urged.

Bai Yue’er huffed, “Weiwei, hurry up and open it. I want to see how he will react.”

Seeing that both were urging her, Tang Weiwei started to unwrap the gift.

Inside was a lady’s fountain pen.

The pen was very delicate, with intricate patterns and colors; every detail was perfect, far surpassing the pens sold in small stores.

Even those unfamiliar with pens could imdiately tell it wasn’t cheap.

Seeing Xu Xiuwen’s silence, Bai Yue’er huffed, “So, do you have anything to say now?”

“Thank you, Sister Yue’er, for the gift.”

She was genuinely happy to receive such a gift.

Bai Yue’er’s expression brightened considerably upon hearing Tang Weiwei’s thanks.

“It’s nothing. I’m glad you like it.”

“Yes, I really like it.”

Next was Shen Minyao’s turn to give her gift.

Her gift was also rectangular but had a flat appearance.

“Could it be a book?” Xu Xiuwen asked instinctively.

Shen Minyao nodded, “Yes, it’s a book.”

After a pause, she continued, “Weiwei, this is a deluxe edition of ‘Jane Eyre.’ I hope you like it.”

Tang Weiwei’s eyes lit up at the ntion of “Jane Eyre,” and she imdiately expressed her gratitude.

Finally, Su Yanyan’s gift was a small box, even smaller than Bai Yue’er’s gift.

It was about ten centiters long and five centiters wide.

Before giving the gift, even the roommates didn’t know what the others had prepared.

Bai Yue’er curiously asked, “Yanyan, what did you get? It wouldn’t be a ring, would it?”

Su Yanyan chuckled and shook her head, “Nope, Sister Yue’er.”

She handed the gift to Tang Weiwei.

“Sister Weiwei, I think you’ll really like this gift. It’s even better than theirs.”

Bai Yue’er and Shen Minyao were both unconvinced.

Bai Yue’er said, “How is that possible? Weiwei loves studying so much; what could be better than a fountain pen?”

Shen Minyao also questioned, “Yes, Yanyan, Weiwei loves reading so much that she must prefer the gift I gave her.”

Su Yanyan chuckled and didn’t explain or refute.

Her deanor only piqued the girls’ curiosity.

Bai Yue’er quickly said, “Weiwei, hurry up and open it. I want to know what she got you!”

Tang Weiwei calmly unwrapped the gift.

Inside the box was an elegant device.

Xu Xiuwen imdiately recognized it as an MP3 player.

Tang Weiwei didn’t recognize it and looked puzzled.

Su Yanyan smiled and explained, “Sister Weiwei, this is an MP3 player. I’ve loaded it with songs for you to listen to.”

Tang Weiwei nodded, “Thank you, Yanyan.”

Su Yanyan grinned, “Sister Weiwei, that’s not all. I have a surprise for you.”

“What’s that?”

Su Yanyan pointed to the MP3 player and said, “It has songs sung by Dada. I had soone record them and put them on here. You can listen to Dada’s old songs.”

At this, everyone, including Xu Xiuwen, was surprised.

Bai Yue’er looked at the MP3 player with envy.

Tang Weiwei said again, “Thank you, Yanyan. I really like your gift.”

After the gifts, the restaurant began serving the al.

Tang Weiwei and Bai Yue’er had no experience with western cuisine.

Xu Xiuwen patiently and carefully explained how to use the cutlery.

He even thoughtfully cut his own steak into manageable pieces and swapped it with Tang Weiwei’s steak to make things easier for her.

As the al approached its end, a staff mber approached with a cake.

This cake was, of course, pre-ordered by Xu Xiuwen.

It was Tang Weiwei’s first birthday and her first ti seeing a cake.

She sat in her seat, staring blankly with a hint of daze.

While she was lost in thought, Xu Xiuwen and the girls placed candles on the cake and sang “Happy Birthday.”

After the song, Tang Weiwei, at everyone’s request, made a wish and blew out the candles.

No one knew what her wish was, and no one asked.

They tasted the cake, which was soft and sweet, and the girls all praised it.

When everything was over, Xu Xiuwen asked if they had any other plans.

The girls all shook their heads.

He suggested going for karaoke.

The girls politely declined.

Seeing this, Xu Xiuwen drove them back to school.

He parked directly at the girls’ dormitory building.

He stopped the car and turned to the three girls in the backseat, saying, “You can go ahead. I need to talk to Weiwei.”

“Alright,” said Shen Minyao and Su Yanyan, who imdiately got out of the car.

Bai Yue’er stayed seated in the back, and it was only when Shen Minyao reminded her that she realized and got out as well.

After the three girls had left, Tang Weiwei felt a wave of shyness.

She turned to Xu Xiuwen and asked, “What do you want to talk to about?”

Xu Xiuwen didn’t answer directly. Instead, he stepped on the gas and drove the car away.

He drove through the campus of Jiangling College.

He stopped at a quiet, secluded spot under a tree.

Seeing Xu Xiuwen drive to such a remote place, Tang Weiwei’s cheeks flushed.

Xu Xiuwen unfastened his seatbelt, turned to look at her, and smiled gently, “I wanted to have a chat with you.”

“Then what do you want to talk to about?” Tang Weiwei asked innocently.

Xu Xuwen looked at her exquisite face, thinking of how she was now the top beauty at Jiangling College, and felt a surge of passion.

He didn’t waste any words but directly moved closer and precisely captured Tang Weiwei’s lips with his own.

After a mont of passionate entanglent, Xu Xuwen finally released her and took a step back.

Tang Weiwei, seeing the glistening corner of his lips, lowered her head and no longer dared to look at him.

Xu Xuwen suddenly said, “Co to the back.”

Without caring about Tang Weiwei’s thoughts, he opened the door, got out of the car, and then opened the rear door to sit inside.

Tang Weiwei was montarily stunned. After a few seconds of hesitation, she got out of the car and also sat in the back seat.

Once she was in the back seat, she lowered her head and asked in a soft voice, “What’s going on?”

Xu Xuwen chuckled, “You know very well.”

He wasn’t polite, imdiately reaching out to pull Tang Weiwei into his embrace.

Tang Weiwei was a bit shorter than his other three girlfriends, making her appear even more delicate.

Once in his embrace, and slling the faint fragrance she exuded, Xu Xuwen found it hard to restrain himself.

“Don’t~”

“Be good, don’t move.”

After a bout of entanglent, Tang Weiwei was lying on Xu Xuwen’s chest, breathless and exhausted.

As Tang Weiwei was still a virgin, her precious first ti naturally couldn’t be given away in such a place.

Therefore, Xu Xuwen only took a little advantage and didn’t go too far, which was satisfactory.

Tang Weiwei couldn’t help but complain, “You said you had sothing to say, liar.”

Xu Xuwen laughed heartily at her words, “It’s not too late to talk now.”

Tang Weiwei frowned and said nothing.

“Did you miss while I wasn’t at school?” Xu Xuwen asked shalessly.

Tang Weiwei nodded.

“Then why don’t you text or call often? Why do I always have to reach out to you?”

“I’m afraid of disturbing your work,” Tang Weiwei explained.

“Then why don’t you contact at night when you know I’m not working?”

“I’m afraid of disturbing your rest,” Tang Weiwei answered obediently.

Xu Xuwen was sowhat satisfied with her response.

He ruffled the girl’s hair and asked, “Is that guy still pursuing you?”

Tang Weiwei cautiously glanced at Xu Xuwen, as if trying to gauge his reaction.

After a few seconds of hesitation, she finally said softly, “He still is.”

But fearing Xu Xuwen might misunderstand, she quickly added, “I haven’t responded to him. I haven’t said a word to him.”

“Really?” Xu Xuwen said, sowhat skeptical.

“Really.”

“How can you prove it?”

“Sister Minyao can vouch for . I’m with her every day, and she knows I haven’t talked to him.”

“Alright, I’ll believe you then.”

“Okay.” Tang Weiwei responded with a hint of grievance.

Xu Xuwen imdiately sensed her change in mood.

“What’s wrong? Are you angry?”

Tang Weiwei shook her head.

“Don’t try to hide it from . I can still sense if you’re upset.”

Unlike so girls who, when angry, refuse to admit it and make boys guess, Tang Weiwei only hesitated for a second before saying, “I don’t care about anyone except you. Don’t you trust ?”

Her voice was filled with grievance.

Xu Xuwen imdiately apologized, “I was too petty. I shouldn’t doubt such a well-behaved girl like you.”

“I wasn’t blaming you,” she explained.

“Alright, let’s not talk about this anymore.”

Xu Xuwen suddenly reached out and lifted Tang Weiwei’s chin, then stared intently at her.

Tang Weiwei couldn’t lower her head, so she had to avert her gaze to avoid his stare.

Xu Xuwen continued to look at her without saying a word.

After a while, she couldn’t help but ask, “What’s wrong?”

Xu Xuwen smiled lightly, “I was just thinking about how to get a beautiful girl like you into my bed.”

Tang Weiwei was taken aback.

She had not expected Xu Xuwen to suddenly say sothing like that. Her face turned red, and she felt a wave of panic.
