A group of people stood up and walked out of the restaurant.
Outside the restaurant, Xu Xiuwen turned to the two won and said, “Let’s call it a day. It’s getting late; you should head back.”
After a brief pause, he continued, “By the way, are you both free tomorrow? If so, accompany to the job market for recruitnt.”
Xu Qian and Song Xiaomi responded in unison, “Sure, Mr. Xu. We’ll make sure to arrive at the job market ahead of ti.”
After seeing the two won off, Xu Xiuwen drove Hang Fei back to the hotel.
Although the apartnt Xu Xiuwen bought in Jiangning Huayuan(Garden) was ready for occupancy, he still stayed at the hotel. After all, since Hang Fei was still staying at the hotel, it wouldn’t be right to leave him there alone.
However, today was the last day staying at the hotel. The Arts Institute’s opening day was March 4th, which was tomorrow. By then, Hang Fei could move back to his dormitory. In fact, he could have moved today, but they were busy recruiting at noon and had no ti to pack.
Jiaotong University’s opening was a few days later, on March 9th and 10th. With less than a week left until the start of the sester, Xu Xiuwen was back at the hotel early, giving him ti to call and text the girls to strengthen his relationships.
Looking forward to seeing the girls again when school started, Xu Xiuwen was excited but also stressed about managing his multiple relationships. Especially with the three girls in Room 301. An Shishi was manageable, but Xiao Youran and Cheng Lu felt like walking a tightrope, with a single misstep leading to disaster.
The next morning, Xu Xiuwen and Hang Fei checked out of the hotel together. Hang Fei then headed to school with his suitcase to register. Xu Xiuwen drove alone to the job market to continue recruiting.
March 4th, a Saturday, saw a much larger crowd at the job market compared to the previous day. Song Xiaomi and Xu Qian had arrived early. Xu Xiuwen saw Xu Qian holding a large poster.
Curious, Xu Xiuwen asked, “Is that a poster you’re holding?”
Xu Qian nodded and unfurled the poster, which was a recruitnt poster. While not perfect, it clearly displayed the company na, job positions, company address, and particularly highlighted the benefits with bold fonts.
Surprised, Xu Xiuwen asked, “Did you make this?”
Xu Qian nodded again, “I made it last night. I thought about why we didn’t recruit anyone yesterday. One reason was our booth’s location, and another was the lack of a large poster. People had to co close to get a flyer to know what we were about. So I made this poster last night. I hope you aren’t mad at for taking the initiative, Mr. Xu?”
Xu Xiuwen laughed heartily, “Why would I be mad? You did a great job. It was the right decision to hire you.”
Leading Xu Qian and Song Xiaomi to their assigned booth, Xu Xiuwen helped Xu Qian hang the poster high. Even from a distance, the poster’s content was clearly visible.
With the recruitnt underway, the large poster and the presence of two attractive female employees drew many job seekers, who ca to inquire and submit their resus. A line even ford in front of their booth.
Yesterday’s worry was not finding candidates; today’s worry was choosing whom to hire. By noon, Xu Xiuwen had received over a hundred resus, including so from graduates of good universities and experienced professionals. With so many resus, Xu Xiuwen couldn’t conduct individual interviews on the spot, so he collected the resus to review later and would invite selected candidates for interviews at the company.
At noon, Song Xiaomi went out to buy three boxed lunches. The three sat at the booth and ate their lunch, continuing recruitnt into the afternoon. By 5 PM, Xu Xiuwen had gathered all the resus and took the two won back to the company.
Xu Qian and Song Xiaomi, who had arrived at the job market before 8 AM, had worked well over eight hours. Yet neither ntioned wanting to leave.
Back at the company, the three began sorting through the resus. Due to the large number of applicants, Xu Xiuwen raised the recruitnt standards. Candidates had to have at least a college degree; fresh graduates didn’t need work experience, but others needed at least a year of work experience to qualify for the next round of interviews.
Busy sorting resus until 7 PM, they reviewed 322 resus collected during the day. Xu Xiuwen selected 50 from the pile.
Xu Qian and Song Xiaomi felt secretly relieved, thinking to themselves: Fortunately, not many people noticed the company yesterday. Otherwise, with their qualifications, they wouldn’t stand a chance against these applicants.
Xu Xiuwen was quite surprised that so many people would apply for a job at his company.
However, Song Xiaomi and Xu Qian found it perfectly reasonable.
Only job seekers would understand how good the salary and benefits offered by Xu Xiuwen were.
With the help of Song Xiaomi and Xu Qian, notifications were sent out to all candidates who passed the initial screening.
The ssage inford the candidates about the interview ti and location.
Xu Xiuwen scheduled the interviews for 8 a.m. the next morning, and the location was naturally the company address.
By the ti all the notification ssages were sent out, it was already past 8 p.m.
Xu Xiuwen was hungry and realized he hadn’t had dinner yet.
Xu Qian and Song Xiaomi had been working with him all this ti, so they hadn’t eaten either.
Xu Xiuwen was very pleased with their performance, so he said, “Tonight I’ll treat you to dinner, to thank you for staying late with .”
The company was near a comrcial area, which had both shopping malls and various gourt restaurants.
Xu Xiuwen took the two won to a rather upscale restaurant and ordered a lot of exquisite food.
Song Xiaomi and Xu Qian felt flattered and thought that working overti was worth it.
Last night, after going ho, Song Xiaomi had asked so people about the TV series that Xu Xiuwen and Xu Qian ntioned during dinner.
When she found out that her boss was a celebrity, she felt not only excited but also a deep admiration.
So today, when she saw Xu Xiuwen, her eyes occasionally flashed with a hint of admiration.
That evening, after Xu Xiuwen treated her to a lavish dinner, she thought her boss was incredibly nice and secretly vowed to work hard and repay his kindness.
Song Xiaomi hadn’t moved into the company dormitory yet; she still had her rented apartnt, which she hadn’t vacated. She also needed to pack up her belongings, and she had been at the job market since early in the morning, so she didn’t have ti to move.
After dinner, Song Xiaomi and Xu Qian took a car and left together.
Xu Xiuwen drove back to Jiangning Garden alone.
Since buying the house, he hadn’t spent a single night there.
So tonight would be his first night staying there.
Xu Xiuwen chose the largest master bedroom and had a great night’s sleep.
