Xu Xiuwen hesitated for a long ti, unable to make a decision.

Suddenly, Xu Xiuwen felt like a scumbag, and not just any scumbag, but an irresponsible one!

He knew he couldn’t let go of Cheng Lu, but could he really let go of Tang Weiwei?

Xu Xiuwen used to think Cheng Lu was two years below him, and figured there were still two years left, plenty of ti to date.

However, after getting to know Tang Weiwei more deeply, this simple girl, whether in appearance or personality, was like a treasure.

Xu Xiuwen couldn’t bear to part with her.

Now, when faced with the choice between the two, he was genuinely unwilling to choose.

He finally understood why in those rebirth novels he used to read, the male protagonists always fell for one girl after another.

It wasn’t entirely their fault for being scumbags; so girls were simply so wonderful that it was impossible not to be moved by them.

Xu Xiuwen didn’t dwell on it too much.

He didn’t know what the future held, but he was very clear that he didn’t want to let go of either Cheng Lu or Tang Weiwei.

Maybe one day everything would co to light, but until then, Xu Xiuwen was determined not to let go.

He was going to selfishly hold on to both of them.

So be it if he was a scumbag!

Xu Xiuwen didn’t want to regret losing either of the two girls.

After making his decision, he turned and went back to the classroom.

Entering through the back door, Xu Xiuwen had already adjusted his emotions.

He sat down and took out his phone, sending Tang Weiwei a text, “Wait for in the classroom after class.”

Xu Xiuwen saw that Tang Weiwei was sitting attentively, listening to the lecture, and hadn’t taken out her phone, so naturally, she didn’t reply.

In the blink of an eye, class was over.

After class, Xu Xiuwen deliberately lay down on his desk, pretending to sleep.

Jin Haonan shook him awake, reminding him, “Xiuwen, class is over, let’s go.”

Xu Xiuwen said to him, “Brother Hao, you guys go ahead, I’ll leave later.”

The five roommates from room 412 looked at him curiously but didn’t say anything and left together.

All the software information classmates were heading out of the classroom.

Tang Weiwei, in the first row, was packing her books very slowly today.

Bai Yue’er couldn’t help but urge, “Weiwei, hurry up.”

Tang Weiwei said to Bai Yue’er, “Sister Yue’er, you guys go ahead, you don’t need to wait for .”

Bai Yue’er was a bit surprised and wanted to say sothing.

But Shen Minyao had already noticed Xu Xiuwen sitting at the back of the classroom and guessed what was going on.

She said to Bai Yue’er, “Let’s go, Yue’er. Weiwei has her own plans.”

Bai Yue’er also figured it out, seeing Xu Xiuwen at the back of the classroom.

As soon as the three girls left the classroom, Xu Xiuwen imdiately stood up and walked towards Tang Weiwei.

“Weiwei.”

Tang Weiwei had just finished packing her books. Seeing Xu Xiuwen, she quickly lowered her head.

Tang Weiwei asked, “What’s up?”

Xu Xiuwen countered, “Can’t I find you if there’s nothing up?”

Tang Weiwei gently shook her head, “If there’s nothing, I have to go, I have sothing to do.”

Saying this, she was about to leave.

Xu Xiuwen imdiately grabbed her hand, asking, “Is it about your part-ti job?”

Tang Weiwei’s body stiffened. She turned to Xu Xiuwen and said, “Yes.”

Xu Xiuwen couldn’t help but question her, “Didn’t I tell you not to take part-ti jobs? If you need money, just tell .”

Tang Weiwei shook her head, “It’s different.”

“How is it different? Money from part-ti jobs is money, but the money I give you isn’t?”

“I didn’t an that.”

Xu Xiuwen’s tone was a bit harsh, making Tang Weiwei shiver slightly.

Noticing this, Xu Xiuwen imdiately softened his voice, asking gently, “What part-ti job are you doing now?”

Tang Weiwei, feeling a bit relieved by his gentle tone, answered, “I’m working as a waitress at a restaurant.”

“Which restaurant? What are your hours and how much do you get paid?”

“The restaurant is called Sichuan Building. I work from 6 PM to 10 PM, and it’s 30 yuan a night.” Tang Weiwei answered all of Xu Xiuwen’s questions patiently.

Hearing the na Sichuan Building, Xu Xiuwen felt a tightness in his chest because this restaurant was located on North Street.

Over the past few days, Xu Xiuwen had been spending ti with Cheng Lu on North Street, often passing by this restaurant.

His first thought was whether Tang Weiwei had seen him with Cheng Lu.

He couldn’t be sure, but he felt it was unlikely.

Logically, if Tang Weiwei had seen him with Cheng Lu, even if she was very understanding and didn’t suspect anything, she would have at least asked about their relationship to hear his explanation.

But she was so calm.

Xu Xiuwen suspected that if he hadn’t sought out Tang Weiwei today, she might never have approached him.

Xu Xiuwen forced himself to calm down.

He thought, don’t scare yourself.

After adjusting his emotions, he said calmly, “You work four hours a night for 30 yuan, that’s less than 10 yuan an hour. Don’t you value your ti?”

Tang Weiwei said, “No, four hours for 30 yuan is quite a lot. Other restaurants pay even less.”

“You make it sound like this job is very sought-after.”

Tang Weiwei nodded, explaining, “Many students want to work here. The boss only agreed to let work because we’re from the sa hotown.”

“Really?”

“I wouldn’t lie to you,” Tang Weiwei said earnestly.

Xu Xiuwen habitually used his past life’s experience to judge the current situation.

Thinking about it seriously, earning 30 yuan a night, 900 yuan a month, wasn’t much, but it wasn’t too little either, considering it was a part-ti job.

Tang Weiwei’s phone vibrated; it was her alarm.

She imdiately looked at Xu Xiuwen with a pleading expression, “Xu Xiuwen, I have to go, or I’ll be late. Please let go.”

Xu Xiuwen didn’t want Tang Weiwei to work part-ti, but he couldn’t resist her pleading look.

Plus, he felt guilty about Cheng Lu, so he could only agree.

However, he still reminded her, “I’ll co to pick you up after your shift tonight.”

Upon hearing this, Tang Weiwei’s face lit up with a smile.

Her smile made Xu Xiuwen feel even more uneasy.

Such a beautiful smile should be cherished, not let fade away.

But could he really do that?

Xu Xiuwen wasn’t very confident.

After seeing Tang Weiwei off, Xu Xiuwen quickly left the classroom too.

He was heading to Jiaotong University to et Cheng Lu.

Despite knowing he was being a scumbag, so things were uncontrollable.

Xu Xiuwen was tired of making excuses for himself.

So be it if he was a scumbag, as long as he didn’t let go, things should turn out fine, right?
