Shi Xiangming looked at her, his eyes filled with anger.

“I am the female lead in Xu Xiuwen’s TV series. I’ve been filming on set these days. Now that I’ve told you, stop being so suspicious!” Bai Yue’er said.

Shi Xiangming suddenly heard Bai Yue’er ntion acting, he was stunned, then asked, “How is that possible? Xu Xiuwen said there were no suitable roles, didn’t he?”

As he spoke, he turned to look at Xu Xiuwen.

“It’s the director who singled her out, believing she’s suitable for the leading role. Besides, that day, you didn’t even let finish.”

Shi Xiangming’s face darkened but he remaining silent, pondering who knows what.

Suddenly, Tang Weiwei spoke up, “Shi Xiangming, Yue’er is filming on set every day.”

Shi Xiangming didn’t fully believe Bai Yue’er and Xu Xiuwen’s words, but when Tang Weiwei spoke, he had no doubt whatsoever.

Because everyone in the class knows that Tang Weiwei, this girl, is particularly innocent and honest, and loves studying, she is a typical good girl.

Such a girl, it’s impossible for her to lie.

In recent days, Shi Xiangming couldn’t contact Bai Yue’er, worried that she was fooling around outside, but now knowing that Bai Yue’er is acting on the set every day, his anger quickly disappeared.

He didn’t question Bai Yue’er why she acted behind his back because he knows she knew that he didn’t want her to go into acting.

As his anger subsided, Shi Xiangming gradually cald down and noticed that Bai Yue’er, Xu Xiuwen, and even Tang Weiwei’s expression didn’t look good.

He also realized he had been too harsh just now and had offended so people with his words.

Shi Xiangming glanced at Bai Yue’er, then turned to Xu Xiuwen and said, “I’m sorry, Xiuwen, I got too excited. I shouldn’t have snapped at you. I should thank you for giving Yue’er the opportunity to act.”

Xu Xiuwen was indeed a little angry, but since Shi Xiangming had apologized, and he wasn’t the type to hold grudges, he nodded and said, “It’s okay, no big deal. I’ll go back first.”

Tang Weiwei also turned and walked away.

Outside the girls’ dormitory building, there were only Shi Xiangming and Bai Yue’er left on the empty ground.

The two of them faced each other in silence, neither saying a word.

Bai Yue’er’s face darkened, and she turned to look to the side, unwilling to speak.

Shi Xiangming, observing Bai Yue’er’s expression, spoke softly, “I’m sorry, Yue’er, I was too impulsive.”

Seeing Bai Yue’er still silent, he continued, “But this isn’t all my fault. I can’t even see you during the day, nor can I contact you. I’m your fiancé, and I’m genuinely worried about your safety.”

Hearing the words “fiancé,” Bai Yue’er felt a wave of helplessness wash over her.

She turned to Shi Xiangming and asked, “Shi Xiangming, do you see as your possession? Do I need your approval for everything I do? Am I not allowed any personal space?”

Shi Xiangming was taken aback, “How could I see you as a possession? You are my fiancée, I just care about you, that’s all I do because I love you.”

“True love isn’t about control and possession, it’s about mutual respect and giving each other space. When you treat like an object to manipulate, it makes uncomfortable. And since we’re not married yet, could you please give so personal space? I have things I want to do too.”

Bai Yue’er spoke, and as she did, she suddenly began to cry.

Tears fell from her eyes as if they were free.

Seeing Bai Yue’er crying like a pear blossom in the rain, Shi Xiangming felt an indescribable heartache.

He wanted to go and hold her to comfort her, but rembering that she had once said not to touch her before marriage, he hesitated and didn’t step forward.

He quickly said, “Yue’er, please don’t cry. It’s my fault. I shouldn’t have suffocated you. It’s all my fault, seeing you cry hurts deeply.”

Bai Yue’er looked at Shi Xiangming, tears shimring in her eyes, “Shi Xiangming, I don’t care about anything else, but acting has always been my dream. Why can’t you support in pursuing my dream?”

“I was wrong. I should support you. I will definitely support you in acting in the future.” Shi Xiangming just wanted to imdiately comfort Bai Yue’er and make her stop crying.

After hearing this, Bai Yue’er imdiately stopped crying.

She opened her watery eyes and looked at Shi Xiangming, asking, “Are you serious? Do you really support acting?”

Shi Xiangming nodded repeatedly, “I support, I definitely support.”

Only then did Bai Yue’er stop crying and smile.

A smile from a beauty can put all flowers to sha; Bai Yue’er’s smile instantly stunned Shi Xiangming.

His breathing beca rapid.

Bai Yue’er wiped away her tears and said, “Thank you for understanding .”

Bai Yue’er glanced at the moon in the sky and said, “It’s getting late, you should go back to the dormitory. I also need to go back to rest. I have to get up early for filming tomorrow.”

Shi Xiangming nodded, then imdiately shook his head, “Yue’er, where are you filming tomorrow? Can I co and watch?”

Bai Yue’er knew that if she didn’t tell him, Shi Xiangming would surely try to find out the filming location, especially since it’s on the university campus, and it wouldn’t be hard to find out. Plus, keeping it from him would only make him speculate more.

So she decided to tell Shi Xiangming.

“The crew will be filming at the Economics and Managent Building of Jiaotong University tomorrow.”

“Yue’er, I’ll definitely co to support you tomorrow.”

Knowing the filming location, Shi Xiangming smiled with relief.

Bai Yue’er nodded, said no more, and turned to enter the dormitory building.

Returning to Room 601, Bai Yue’er looked at Tang Weiwei as soon as she entered the door.

The latter sat on the seat sorting out her personal belongings. She hurried over, apologizing, “Sorry, Weiwei, because of , Xiuwen was misunderstood.”

Tang Weiwei shook her head, “It’s okay. How about you and Shi Xiangming? Is he still angry?”

At the ntion of Shi Xiangming, Bai Yue’er snorted lightly, “He doesn’t distinguish right from wrong, he just gets angry. What right does he have to be angry? I’m worried that Xiuwen is angry.”

“Xu Xiuwen won’t get angry. He’s not a petty person,” Tang Weiwei said.

Hearing this, Bai Yue’er suddenly laughed, “Weiwei, you know your good friend so well.”

Tang Weiwei blushed and said, “I’m packing up,” then turned to continue organizing things, avoiding Bai Yue’er’s gaze.

Shen Minyao, who was sitting on the chair beside them, hadn’t slept.

After hearing their conversation, she suddenly asked, “What happened? Yue’er, did you cry?”

Bai Yue’er glanced at Shen Minyao and smiled, “It’s nothing, Sister Minyao.”

After saying that, she turned back to her seat without explaining.

Shen Minyao looked at Bai Yue’er, who didn’t respond, and Tang Weiwei, who was tidying up next to her and sighed quietly.

These days, their relationship seed to be getting closer, while she and Tang Weiwei were becoming more distant.

She feels uneasy in her heart.

She gave up on Xu Xiuwen because of Tang Weiwei, not because she didn’t like him.

She’s starting to feel confused, unsure if her initial decision was correct.

Room 412.

Xu Xiuwen returned to the dormitory, and Yang Baishan and Liu Zhihao wanted to talk to him, but seeing his gloomy expression, they wisely refrained from speaking.

Jin Haonan asked, “Xiuwen, what happened?”

Xu Xiuwen shook his head, not wanting to talk about it.
