After three months, Lu Jiaxin was no longer incredibly sleepy.
Zong Shing and Yu itong ca to visit her. Lu Jiaxin smiled and said, "It’s really amazing. One day I was sleeping for 15 hours, and the next day I was back to normal, waking up after a half-hour nap."
Yu itong was envious, "You’re only sleepy, with none of the other symptoms. I couldn’t stand even a slight sll and ate plain porridge for two months. Eating it made my face turn green."
Zong Shing laughed and said, "Mine wasn’t as bad as yours, but I was also vomiting a lot. Fortunately, it got better after the first three months."
Yu itong admired her, "I wouldn’t want to go through that again. Jiaxin, what about you? Do you plan to have more kids in the future?"
Lu Jiaxin smiled and said, "Nie Zhan and I have discussed it. Regardless of gender, we want to have two kids, one with his surna and one with mine, so they can inherit each of our properties."
Zong Shing was very surprised, "With your surna, does the Nie family agree?"

Lu Jiaxin didn’t care much about lineage, but so people did: "Didn’t we move my grandma and mom’s graves over here? If all the children have the surna Nie, there may be no one to visit the graves after I’m gone. With my surna, at least for three generations, soone will visit."
Previously, Lu Jiaguang ntioned that after the graves were moved to Hong Kong, there would be no one to offer respects after her passing. It didn’t sit well with her, leading to the idea of having one child with her surna.
They never expected this to be the reason.
Zong Shing shifted the topic and ntioned crude oil futures. As soon as the war ended, crude oil prices dropped. She tily exited and made a huge profit, but Hu Zhifeng lost everything.
Yu itong said, "Thanks to Nie Zhan’s warning, my husband liquidated his positions as soon as they matured. Just a few hours after he did, the ceasefire was announced, and he broke out in a cold sweat upon hearing the news."
Tao Yong and Su Heyuan were in the sa boat, with their crude oil futures maturing at the end of February. Since they knew Nie Zhan had liquidated, they quickly followed suit.

Zong Shing nodded.
Yu itong comforted her, "Sister Shing, brother-in-law lost money, but it’s just his savings. Unlike my older brother and sister-in-law, who went crazy like, not only using their house for collateral but also borrowing from loan sharks to trade in crude oil. They lost the house and owe over six million. If my parents hadn’t used their retirent money to pay their debt, they would have been hacked to death on the street by those thugs."
Lu Jiaxin believed that borrowing money to trade stocks or real estate was foolish behavior. Not only does it drag oneself into a pit, but it also burdens the family.
Zong Shing frowned and said, "Your parents used their retirent money to fill the hole for your brother and sister-in-law; how will they live in the future?"
Lu Jiaxin said, "Since ancient tis, it’s not about fear of having less but fearing unevenness. Your parents used their retirent money to pay the debt for the elder son’s family; surely your second brother and sister-in-law have their thoughts."
Yu itong gave Lu Jiaxin a thumbs up, "Jiaxin, you’re really amazing. My second brother and sister-in-law found out and started acting poor. But my parents were truly emptied out, with no money left. Yesterday, my mom called and cried halfway through the conversation."
Zong Shing imdiately said, "Don’t be soft-hearted. Your older brother, not being capable but wanting to earn big money, is a bottomless pit that you can’t fill."
After thanking her, Yu itong said, "I told my mom that if they’re not doing well over there, they should co back. They may not live in luxury as before, but I’ll ensure they have no worries about food and clothing."
Though her parents favored her brothers, except for when she insisted on breaking off the engagent with Tao Yong and was cut off financially for two years, they never mistreated her materially. So, she guaranteed her parents a comfortable old age. As for her brothers, she would maintain a courteous relationship but nothing more.
Zong Shing thought that was a good way to think.
The two of them left after lunch. Before they left, Lu Jiaxin said, "These days, I’ve been eating and sleeping, and practically turned into a pig. Are you free tomorrow? If you are, let’s go shopping."
Both of them had no problem with that, missing spending ti shopping together.
The next day, the three of them went shopping. They shopped for over three hours, then after satisfying their appetites, went to Zong Shing’s beauty salon for a massage before heading ho. Since she was pregnant, she only did facial treatnts and didn’t dare do anything else.
Shopping all day made her a bit tired. Once she got ho, she just lay down. Half-asleep, she felt soone approaching and slled a familiar scent, so she didn’t bother to open her eyes, "I’m not hungry, go eat first!"
Nie Zhan gently touched her face and said, "I’m not hungry either, let’s lie together for a while."
She slept for over two hours, and when she woke up, she found Nie Zhan leaning against the headboard, reading a book. She got up and asked with a smile, "Have you had dinner?"
"No, waiting to eat with you."
As soon as they went downstairs, the butler said, "Boss, Mr. Da Su called earlier. He’s at ho now and insisted that if you’re awake, you should return his call."

If he was willing to co to Hong Kong, that indicated it was important. Lu Jiaxin didn’t dwell on it and said, "Once the ti they’ll co is confird, I’ll head over."
Nie Zhan frowned slightly upon hearing this. Once Jiaxin hung up the phone, he asked, "Where are you planning to go?"
"Peng City."
"You’re pregnant now, it’s inconvenient; let handle it."
Lu Jiaxin shook her head and said, "This matter requires to go. Don’t worry, I’ll be careful."
Nie Zhan was uneasy about Jiaxin traveling, but he knew once she decided, she wouldn’t change her mind: "I’ll accompany you."
This ti, Lu Jiaxin didn’t refuse. Peng City is not far, just a two-day round trip that wouldn’t disrupt anything.
