Lu Jiaxin only bottod out in the Hong Kong real estate market and didn’t buy stocks anymore. She felt that stocks had fallen so much that they wouldn’t return to their original index values in the short term.
Nie Zhan said, "Jiaxin, can you co over for lunch this weekend?"
"What, did your grandpa suggest it?"

Lu Jiaxin felt that as long as it didn’t affect her, Nie Manli could go wherever she wanted.
Nie Zhan ntioned Nie Jingwen: "I hinted at it to my big brother, spoke vaguely without saying it directly. After what happened the year before last, he’s not daring to be careless. This ti the loss is lighter compared to other banks."

If the Kadoorie family and shareholders disagree with Peninsula Hotel’s expansion, then we’ll go the franchise route. Franchising refers to a continuous contractual relationship between the franchisor and franchisees regarding a comrcial brand.
According to this contract, the franchising headquarters must provide franchisees with unique comrcial privileges and unconditional assistance in personnel training, organizational structure, operational managent, and supply and sales of goods. As a return, franchisees need to pay corresponding fees to the headquarters.
The forms of franchisee franchising are varied, mainly including voluntary franchising, commissioned franchising, and exclusive franchising.
Nie Zhan found her suggestion very good: "I plan to build one Peninsula Hotel each in the Forty-nine City, Magic Capital, and Yangcheng City. If they don’t agree, then we’ll take the franchise route."
The future three super-first-tier cities in the country are the Forty-nine City, Magic Capital, and Yangcheng City. One must admit this vision is indeed unique.
Reflecting on how tepid his managent of Wansheng Real Estate was when he first took over, Lu Jiaxin said, "Fortunately, I stimulated you; otherwise, it would have been a real waste of your talents."
Lately, outsiders have been praising him highly; he doesn’t feel much because those accolades are empty, but Jiaxin’s praise is sincere.
On Saturday, Lu Jiaxin went to the Nie Family Old Mansion. Although the conditions at the Recuperate Hospital are better, Old Master Nie still preferred to stay at ho. But Nie Zhan said Lu Jiaxin only wanted to invite family and friends to the engagent, and a big celebration should wait for the wedding.
Lu Jiaxin truly didn’t want a big celebration; the more guests invited, the more exhausting it would be. A wedding is understandable, but the engagent doesn’t need to be so tiring.

With that calculation, Lu family’s relatives wouldn’t even fill two tables, whereas they had at least twenty tables of family and friends. Oh well, the less-connected relatives won’t be invited to avoid an embarrassing difference between the two sides’ guests.
Grandma Nie also asked for Lu Jiaxin’s preferences and requirents for the engagent banquet’s setting, wanting to gather information to make arrangents.
Lu Jiaxin couldn’t hand everything over and said, "Sister-in-law, I plan to entrust the wedding planning to a wedding company."
"Do you have a preferred one?"

She’d have her secretary find one to choose from later.

When Hong Kong tycoons get married, have children, or celebrate birthdays, they all hold them at five-star hotels. Without advance booking, there might not be good hotels available then.
