This place wasn’t suitable for training due to its limited space. Lu Jiaxin bought a piece of land in the suburbs, built two houses with a construction company under Wansheng’s banner. She left everything else to Gu Wenfeng and Li Qing. She never ddled in things she didn’t understand, always handing them over to the experts.
Qian Xiaoxiao’s expression didn’t change much, she said, “It’s good that he’s alright.”
She too had been injured several tis, but none were life-threatening. In Brother Feng’s case, being able to save his life was lucky. Blessings and misfortunes go hand in hand; though he was disabled, at least now he was out of danger while managing logistics.

Qian Xiaoxiao responded calmly, “I’ve been injured a few tis, but they were all superficial wounds. Two of my companions weren’t so lucky and died. The first ti I saw a comrade fall in a pool of blood, I was scared stiff, but thankfully we had retreated to a safe place by then, or I would have been in danger too.”
“Brother Feng was right to scold ; I really wasn’t up to standard back then. Without the baptism of blood and tears, I couldn’t react in ti, which could have put you in jeopardy.”
As she spoke, her eyes flashed nacingly, “Sister Xin, rest assured, even if Brother Feng is gone, you still have . I can protect you in the future, and if anyone dares to harm you, I’ll make sure they die a grueso death.”
Lu Jiaxin nodded and then urged her to eat, “You definitely haven’t eaten well outside; I had the chef prepare your favorite dishes, so eat up today.”
Qian Xiaoxiao picked up a piece of braised pork and put it in her mouth. After eating it, she regained her usual exuberant personality, “Yeah, the hardest thing there wasn’t the training, but the food. That taste, they actually had the nerve to call it gourt, I feel sorry for them.”

The two continued to eat and chat, quite cheerfully.

Seeing her reasoning so convincingly, Lu Jiaxin was interested, “What else?”
Qian Xiaoxiao continued, “There are several pairs of shoes in the living room, they’re Mr. Nie’s size. It would be too coincidental if your new boyfriend just happened to wear the sa size shoes as Mr. Nie. Besides, you’re so good, how could Mr. Nie possibly bear to break up with you?”
It had to be said, the past two years of rigorous training had truly transford her.
Lu Jiaxin said, “After you visit Brother Feng tomorrow, you should go see your grandfather. He’s currently in Peng City, and your parents were dragged out there by him too. He misses you a lot; spend a few more days with him this ti.”
Qian Xiaoxiao missed Old Master Qian too. The longest they had been apart before was half a year, but now it had been almost two and a half years. As for her parents, she didn’t miss them quite as much.
“Okay, then I’ll spend three days with him.”
Lu Jiaxin didn’t suggest she stay for more days. Peng City wasn’t far from here, and now that she was back, she could return ho during her breaks.
