Alexia
It doesn’t take long before I sense them. A group of two dozen Ascendant Tier users appear inside of the Quantum Realm. And within a few seconds, they’re already catching up to as I teleport.
I briefly pause my teleporting to face them.
Or rather, I start teleporting so quickly in place that it’s hard to tell that I’m even teleporting.
All just to stall them.
And one by one, they all begin to spread out in front of . Yet, despite them all being Ascendant Tier, I don’t recognize even a single one of them.
They’re all strangers to . People I’ve never even so much as heard of much less t.
“Alexia Knight, fancy us eting here, huh?” so half lightning spirit says with a grin on his face. anwhile chuckles echo out from the others, albeit with so of them just glaring at or staring at .
Despite their rather lacking fa and infamy though, I can tell they’re all stronger than . Simply on account of being Ascendants.
Ascendant Tier is far stronger than Tier 5 after all.
The only possible way to kill an Ascendant Tier as a Tier 5 is if the Ascendant Tier is a weak user or an unintelligent monster, and only if they’re level 2501. Just barely stepped into Ascendant Tier.
These Ascendants? While they are very weak users, they have also leveled up at least a few tis after reaching Ascendant Tier.
There’s no way I can kill them.
While I may theoretically be able to kill one if it was a one on one and I used so tricks, I can’t kill two dozen of them.
“Who are you?” I can’t help but ask while still spam teleporting in place.
It’ll probably take another four or so weeks of teleporting all over the place to reach level fifty. So anything to stall them should work.
The half spirit looks rather pissed, anwhile the other Ascendants here all openly laugh at him. Or a lot of them, not all of them.
“Let’s see if that tongue of yours can last when we’re done with you,” the half spirit says while scowling at , clearly livid.
Yet he never answered my question, so I still don’t know who he is. And I can’t be bothered to identify him.
Support creative writers by reading their stories on , not stolen versions.
“This will be revenge for all those whom you have tortured and terrified over the years, abomination,” so human says, speaking complete gibberish with a righteous expression on his face.
“I’ve never actually tortured anyone before,” I comnt while tilting my head. In the process making the man’s eyes flash with a green light, seemingly shocking him in the process. “And I normally try to avoid other people, so if anyone was terrified of , it was most likely due to their own delusions.”
“Y-you-” he stutters with his mouth gaping as if his entire belief system was shattered. “That can’t be possible! How could she be speaking the truth!”
The others look vaguely surprised as well, leading to believe that this self-righteous idiot probably has a truth-seeing skill. One that lets him see through lies.
It doesn’t seem to change the opinion of most of the people here though.
That said, two of the Ascendant Tiers that look the most shocked besides the idiot actually leave without another word after confirming what I said was the truth. So I guess the idiot wasn’t useless after all.
At least, I believe that until the idiot decides to delude himself that I sohow must have a skill to fool his truth-seeing skill.
I really don’t like self-righteous fanatics. They’re a pain to deal with.
There’s just no convincing them of anything but their own delusional beliefs.
It’s irritating.
Apparently that’s sothing Ethan and his family has to deal with a lot too. People attacking them because ‘dragons must be bad’.
Then again, dragons do kind of see them as nothing more than worms and insects, so maybe they aren’t entirely wrong there…
Not entirely at least.
Anyway, I manage to stall them for another twenty or so minutes by mostly just pissing them off while also asking why they’re attacking . But none of them give any solid answers.
The best answer I get is that one of them is trying to remove a potential threat hanging over his head.
I don’t know who that is though, so I’m not sure why he’d consider a threat to him personally.
Anyway, eventually things are set off when a fire spirit starts shouting about ‘enough talk’ and all that before he starts attacking . Leaving teleporting far away in one bound. Then I continue to teleport away, realizing my stalling tactic isn’t gonna work for any longer now.
And just like that, the chase begins. With about twenty-two Ascendant Tiers chasing after , each using their own thods.
Although around six of them quickly begin to lag behind. Reducing the threat further as they aren’t agile whatsoever and have no real thods to move around quickly.
Unfortunately for , there are several of them that can move just as fast as I can teleport. With a couple that can even move faster than I can teleport.
Leading to getting quite a few injuries already from their attacks.
But I use my energy from being in my True Form in the quantum realm to reverse all the damage instantly.
As long as it’s only a few of them attacking , then I can just teleport and heal myself repeatedly and it won’t be an issue.
I can’t do that if like a dozen of them are hitting all at once.
There won’t be anything left to heal at that point.
To make matters worse, there’s a space affinity worm amongst them that’s trying to send out of the quantum realm.
I grit my teeth as I teleport away, dearly wishing that I could use my True Form to fight against them. But I’m not allowed to. The only reason I can use my True Form to defend myself from attacks is if it’s a Quantum Being attacking .
And I’m not going to let myself get punished by the universe while I’m being chased by a bunch of lunatics.
So I just continue teleporting all over the place, hoping that the skill will level up faster.
