Alexia

After once again escaping Astrid, I go ahead and open a rift into the Quantum Realm. Then I imdiately begin moving towards the trial tower once again. All while thinking about which quantum being I should take on next.

“The Quantum Scribe is the best choice for now,” a certain mindreading stalker says, his voice echoing in my head for the first ti in a very long while. Mostly due to his inability to talk to within that dungeon. “Our first ti speaking in over half a year and this is how you talk?”

Why’s the scribe the best choice? Why not the Archon?

“Because the Archon can see every detail about a person just at a glance,” Zal answers, sounding slightly irritated. Probably at my ignoring his question. “While he doesn’t have incredible powers ant for combat, he will be able to tell every detail about you. Your habits both in and outside of combat, your skills, what you can do with your energy manipulation, your True Form. Everything.”

That’s just kind of creepy.

What about the Scribe?

“The Scribe will be able to write things into existence, and to make what he writes a reality,” Zal says, making frown for a mont. “He can temporarily create monsters to attack you and can write the scene out so that things will lean more towards going his way. But he doesn’t have many combat powers of his own, and the powers he does have are limited. Combat isn’t his role after all.”

Interesting.

What’s the difference between the Scribe’s creations and the Creator’s? Is it that the Creator’s creations are permanent or sothing?

Because there’s no way soone known as the Quantum Creator can’t create living creatures. It’s his role after all.

“That’s correct,” Zal says without hesitation. “Don’t worry about the Creator for now. Leave him for later.”

Got it.

I continue teleporting through the Quantum Realm until I finally get within sight of the tower where my trials are held. And just like before, there are two guards standing right in front of the entrance.

This ti though I completely annihilate them without any trouble.

Stolen story; please report.

Which make sense. Last ti I was here, I was Tier 4. But now I’m at the very end of Tier 5.

There are thousands of levels between this ti and then.

After dealing with them, I enter the tower before soon arriving at the graveyard again. Then I look around for a little bit in search of the mausoleum ant for the Quantum Scribe.

Co to think of it, I’ve never seen anyone even related to the Scribe before. Or heard about them other than Zal’s explanation just now.

I wonder what they’re like as a person?

Not to ntion what their role might involve doing. Since that’s the first trial in each one.

Seeing the Quantum Being going about their job.

Eventually I find the mausoleum. And when I do, I quickly enter my True Form before stepping inside of it. After which I instantly reappear within so sort of office.

The office is actually rather dark, with a large window spreading across one wall and various book shelves on the other walls and no entrance to the room. There aren’t any seats or tables for people to sit at other than a single desk and a single chair on top of that.

With one man seated on said chair.

The Quantum Scribe.

Behind him is the window, which is shining a lot of purple light on him as the window itself seems to look out into the Quantum Realm. With an occasional glitch appearing on the outside of the window and on the bookshelves around us.

But the man himself is actually rather hard to discern where he’s looking. Mostly because his eyes are just completely glitched patches of reality. So I can’t actually see them.

What I can tell though is that he’s not even paying attention to . He’s just staring down at the blank paper he’s writing on using a pen. With nurous stacks of blank paper all around him. So of which are floating off the table to go to bookshelves where they then disappear.

Other than that, the man has well-grood shorter hair the sa color as all Quantum Beings. anwhile he’s wearing a suit and tie. With the suit’s jacket being a darker purple with so very thin white stripes here and there, and the tie being a very bright and glowing deep purple. All over a white dress shirt.

Huh. He’s rather hard to figure out just from looking.

The man also isn’t looking at still. Even as I walk up to his desk and look down at him. He just keeps on writing.

But what he’s writing makes rather interested.

Not to ntion so of the pages that are floating away. Ones he’s already finished writing.

So without any hesitation, I go ahead and grab one of the ones before it flies away and begin reading it. Only to find that it’s so sort of history about a random planet. Which is clearly from before the Reset.

Then again, this trial was made from before the Reset. Before the System itself.

I think.

Maybe.

Not actually sure. Just guessing based on the last trial, which had soone who died long ago as the opponent.

Anyways, this trial ends up being rather boring. The first part of the three trials for the Scribe I an.

At least the Architect was going around designing really expansive things and was in so really cool looking dinsion. The Scribe is just sitting at a desk writing history.

It’s rather dull.

Even as I stand here next to him he doesn’t do a thing.

Just continues writing away. With a pen that doesn’t seem capable of running out of ink.

I continue watching him for a while before the man finally speaks in a very straightforward and quiet manner, declaring, “You have passed the first trial.”

Then I find myself teleported to a battlefield against the corrupted. Leaving wondering just how long this Quantum Being has spent writing based on that first trial.

Well, regardless, it’s ti to see how well he fights.
