’99 Unrivaled Seals Pill... This is the first ti I’ve seen a pill that is capable of assigning tasks. Since there are 99 seals, I assu there are also 99 tasks. Do the difficulty of the tasks increase with every seal unlocked? Regardless, if soone unlocks all 99 seals, they will gain nearly 5,000 points to six stats. A grade six pill that can give 30,000 points worth of stats—if I don’t include my HP stat, it’s almost three tis all of my current stats combined. If this pill’s full potential can be unlocked, it might be comparable to so top tier grade eight pills. The materials used in crafting are also more common than I expected. Well, except this one ingredient. I’ve never heard of it before now.’
The 99 Unrivaled Seals Pill required a total of 52 common ingredients and 1 mythical ingredient. While the number of common ingredients was large, they were so cheap that players might as well be giving them away for free.
As for the mythical ingredient, it was sothing called "Lord of the Deep Abyss Leviathan’s Essence".
’A Leviathan... Given its na and title, I can only assu it resides sowhere with deep waters. If I had to think of one place, the first that cos to mind is the vast seas to the south.’
To the north lay the Endless Mountain Range, the south a vast sea, the east the Wild Lands, and to the west the Dark Plains—this was common knowledge from the books and information Izroth gathered about the Mortal Realm.
Izroth did not know much about the areas located outside of the Seven Kingdoms since he had never ventured that far out. However, it was said that even those who had already stepped into the legendary realm were not guaranteed safety in such places. This was even more so for the vast sea to the south. After all, combat on land versus the sea was vastly different.
’If there is anywhere in the Mortal Realm that I can acquire a mythical-ranked ingredient with money alone, it is Danaharpe. I can also check the Auction House and put in a request with the Golden Dragon Association. It might be sowhat costly, but with my recent gains, it should not cause too many problems.’
Once he managed to get everything in order, Izroth planned to set up a branch of the Mystical Realm Palace in Danaharpe.
Of course, Izroth was no fool. He was well aware that he had already made enemies of the Duvelle family, a noble family that churned out talented Apothecaries as easy as breathing. If he truly did open up a pill shop in Danaharpe and attempted to compete directly with the Duvelle family without a plan, Izroth knew that he would not stand a chance with his current ans.
That is why Izroth decided to take a different approach to how he handled things in Danaharpe and wanted to aim for an untapped pill market. He had a few ideas in mind; however, Izroth wanted to do a little more research before he fully committed to anything.
As Izroth finished examining the 99 Unrivaled Seals Pill and organizing his thoughts, Varuu and Worldly Skies wrapped up their conversation.
Varuu offered to take on Worldly Skies as her disciple; however, she gave up when Worldly Skies inford her that she already had a master.
While Varuu was sowhat disappointed, she did not attempt to force the matter. Instead, she gave Worldly Skies her personal token.
With Varuu’s token in her hand, Worldly Skies would be able to experience all kinds of benefits wherever there was an Apothecary Guild. It would also make others think twice before causing trouble if she showed it and could stop most situations from spiraling out of control.
Worldly Skies expressed her gratitude to Varuu. And, after a few farewell exchanges, Worldly Skies took her leave from the room.
Izroth told Worldly Skies that he still had so matters to discuss with Varuu and so he stayed behind.
"Have you ever heard of the Lord of the Deep Abyss Leviathan’s Essence?" Izroth inquired.
"I have. Even among mythical-ranked ingredients, it is absurdly rare. The Lord of the Deep Abyss is a creature that lives in the deepest depths of the south seas. Its strength is not to be underestimated. Since the sea is its natural territory, it is difficult to face it head-on. Do not tell that you are planning on going after the Lord of the Deep Abyss? If so, I would advise against it." Varuu responded.
"Is it that strong?" Izroth questioned.
If soone like Varuu was not taking the Lord of the Deep Abyss’ strength lightly, it must be a worthy foe. Though Izroth was no stranger to powerful creatures of the sea. After all, he faced the Immortal Hydra as an enemy during the crusade. It may have been sealed, but its power and skills were still nothing to look down on.
"While the Lord of the Deep Abyss is powerful, that is only one concern. First is the path one must take to reach the depths of the south seas. It requires a hefty price and a lot of preparation. More importantly, the residents of the south seas are not welcoming of outsiders. They are in a constant state of turmoil and see all outsiders as imdiate threats to be taken care of. There are also clans that worship the Lord of the Deep Abyss with powerful figures behind them. Attacking the Lord of the Deep Abyss is no different than declaring war on those clans." Varuu explained.
"That said, surely there is a way to obtain its essence if others know that it exists?" Izroth asked in a aningful tone.
"You are not wrong. There is one way to acquire the Lord of the Deep Abyss Leviathan’s Essence without having to fight. But, it would not be possible for you to use this thod at your current stage since it requires one to be at least a grade eight Apothecary to achieve. Even then, that is the bare minimum and it only offers a small chance." Varuu stated calmly.
"Apothecary Head Varuu must have quite a few connections. Is there truly no one who can provide the Lord of the Deep Abyss Leviathan’s Essence? Perhaps, for a trade of equal value?" Izroth asked.
Varuu closed her eyes and entered deep thought. A few monts later, she opened her eyes and said, "There is one person I can think of that may possibly have so Lord of the Deep Abyss Leviathan’s Essence. However, that person is not the type that easily parts with what belongs to them. Apothecary Izroth will have to pay a heavy price."
"Rest assured, as long as it not completely unreasonable, I am willing to make a few concessions since I am the one in need of the material." Izroth stated.
Izroth had a few items in his possession that even those at the peak of the legendary realm would salivate at the re thought of. He was not against giving up a little more to get what he need as long as it fell within his window of reason.
"As long as you understand. That person is usually busy year-round. I will try to set up a eting and contact you through one of the Apothecary Guild branches when I do so." Varuu stated.
"Then, I will thank Apothecary Head Varuu in advance." Izroth said.
"It is a small matter. Though I am curious as to why Apothecary Izroth has taken such an interest in the Lord of the Deep Abyss Leviathan’s Essence." Varuu comnted.
"Have you ever heard of a pill called the 99 Unrivaled Seals Pill?" Izroth questioned.
"Hm... It does not sound familiar. I have co across sothing called the 32 Unrivaled Marks Pill. It is a rather unique grade three pill that is comparable to so grade four pills. It raises one overall strength over ti. But, there are too many drawbacks. For one, the person who consus it is weakened by each mark placed onto them. To make matters worse, the marks can only be undone through the pill’s unique tempering thod. If one does not unlock all 32 marks, they will be worse off than before they took the pill. If not for this severe drawback, it would be a treasure among grade three pills." Varuu explained.
’Oh? There was a grade three pill with such effects? Can it be related to the 99 Unrivaled Seals Pill?’
Izroth understood that it was not uncommon for certain pill recipes to lose their true crafting thod and purpose to the decaying effects of ti. Therefore, it was possible that the 32 Unrivaled Marks Pill that Varuu ntioned was an incomplete version of the 99 Unrivaled Seals Pill.
That being said, for a grade six pill to be reduced to a re grade three pill—it showed the vast difference between the original and sothing perceived from it. Of course, this was assuming that the two pills were truly related to one another.
