"I do not an to disregard your kindness, Elder Black Cloud. However, I must see Lady Nova." Aurie said respectfully to the black fog.

Without warning, the black fog began to flow around Izroth. However, since he did not sense any ill intent, Izroth remained still without reacting.

"This young one... He has a familiar and comforting scent to him. But, it does not belong to him. You are Izroth, correct?" The black fog, Elder Black Cloud, questioned as it receded from Izroth and return to its original position.

"Oh? You seem to know . But, I don't believe we've t before." Izroth said calmly.

"Our paths have never crossed directly until today. I have heard of you through a mutual acquaintance. You know her as the Wiseman of Everpeak. Since we have t today and share a connection, I will give you a word of warning. Within this coming year, do not visit the Mother of All Forests." Elder Black Cloud said in a foreboding tone.

Izroth inwardly furrowed his brows as Elder Black Cloud's warning.

'How much do they know?'

The Wiseman of Everpeak, Kryxelsia, was not soone who would casually let sothing of great importance slip. So, either Elder Black Cloud was soone Kryxelsia trusted or they were testing the waters and fishing for answers.

But, seeing as how they were given the task of protecting Nova and how Aurie treated them with respect, Izroth believed that the forr was more likely.

'Regardless of their intentions, it's impossible for to follow their advice. Even if the ti limit reset to 90 days, I can't afford to wait a full year before completing the Awakening of The Lost Bloodline quest.'

Izroth looked upward to the sky and said, "I appreciate the warning; however, it is sothing that I must do no matter what."

Soon after, he returned his gaze forward and continued, "More importantly, how are you connected to the Wiseman of Everpeak?"

"...Very well. I have done my part in warning you. Whether you choose to heed it or not is entirely up to you. As for your inquiry—you can say that our paths have always been connected." Elder Black Cloud stated.

"Elder, I don't an to interrupt, but the entrance..." Aurie brought up respectfully.

She quickly followed up, "If there is a problem, I can personally vouch for Commander Izroth."

"Elder Black Cloud has blocked off the surrounding space around them so I am unable to hear what they are discussing. Captain Kalemsia being here is different, but... Are there so doubts regarding Commander Izroth's presence?" Aurie though to herself with furrowed brows.

"It seems the young one is misunderstanding. Our conversation will have to end here. Since you are determined to travel to the Mother of All Forests, keep this with you. Once you enter the Mother of All Forests, shatter it. Afterward, soone will arrive to guide you where you wish to go." Elder Black Cloud said.

Out of nowhere, a small fragile transparent bead with a colorful array of mana contained within slowly floated toward Izroth.

Izroth took a mont to inspect the item with his Energy Vision Sense and through the system itself.

Na: Wayseeker's Notice(Epic)

Usage: When shatter, alerts a designated target within 25,000km of its exact location. This item is destroyed upon usage.

Cooldown: None

After taking a second to examine the item and making sure that nothing was wrong with it, Izroth accepted the Wayseeker's Notice and placed it into his inventory.

While the Wayseeker's Notice could very well be a trap, given what he sensed so far from Elder Black Cloud, it did not seem as though they had any bad intentions. Furthermore, before making a trip to the Mother of All Forests, he would have to pay a visit to Kryxelsia. It would not be too late to confirm whether or not Elder Black Cloud was an ally or foe.

"Then, I won't reject your kindness. You have my thanks, Elder Black Cloud." Izroth said as he cupped his fists.

Not long after, the atmosphere shifted and returned to normal.

The black fog dissipated as a voice echoed from all directions, "There are no concerns. There is just sothing I wished to discuss with your guest, young one. Since you have brought him here, naturally, you are responsible for his actions. The rules remain the sa. You have one hour from the mont you set foot into the Domain. After that, you must leave for your own safety. You may enter."

Rmmmmble..!

The doors to the building opened; however, even standing only a few ters away from it, one was unable to see what was inside.

"Let us make haste, Commander Izroth, Captain Kalsia." Aurie said as she released a small sigh of relief.

Aurie led the way forward with Izroth and Kalsia following behind her. As Aurie stepped through the doorway, she appeared to have simply vanished into thin air. However, without hesitation, Izroth and Kalsia did not halt their steps and also walked through the doorway.

Once the three entered, the doors slowly shut as several layers of magic formations re-sealed the entry point.

anwhile, in the skies just above the building Nova resided...

"The young half spirit child raised by the lady has brought an interesting one along with her this ti." A mature feminine voice sounded.

The voice belonged to a gorgeous woman. However, with her slightly pointed ears, her beauty ca as no surprise. She was soone of the trephasia race.

The woman had long silver hair and had a pair of verdant eyes that resembled leaves struck by sunlight. She wore a set of extravagant yet well fitting white and cyan magic robes with an intricate pattern weaved onto its surface.

Despite her beauty, what stood out about her the most was the air of mysterious elegance that seed to naturally encompass her.

"For a mont, I thought my concealnt magic had been seen through. When he looked this way, it almost seed as if he was looking and talking directly to you, Elder Verestiaa." A young and slightly energetic feminine voice spoke from nearby.

However, the owner of the voice remained hidden.

"I told you when we're on a mission, you are to refer to as Elder Black Cloud, Hidden Cloud." Verestiaa said firmly.

"Ah, right... Rather, Elder Black Cloud, is it okay to let them go inside? Based on the information we have about Commander Izroth and his past encounter with the Order of a Thousand Blossoms and its Holy Maiden, they may be planning to conquer that mark of corruption." Hidden Cloud comnted.

"I fear that the mark of corruption is not sothing that can be overco through even great ans. For the ti being, the rate of progress at which it spreads is being considerably slowed and restricted by the Nine Severed Room. However, even that cannot cut away the mark of corruption, which has embedded itself deep into the lady. Little Aurie is not foolish. She knows very well that consequences of carelessly ssing with the mark of corruption." Verestiaa said unhurriedly.

She then continued, "At this point, we can only hope that the Breath of the Morning Spring that will be delivered later today will be able to stop the progression of the mark of corruption. As long as we can buy so ti, a solution will not be impossible to find. Until then, we will carry out our duty and ensure the safety of the lady."
