He tried to rember how he got here, but nothing made sense. The last thing he recalled was eating that fruit, the ape attacking him, and then everything turning dark. There was no mory of traveling, no sensation of moving through space, nothing that explained this world.
"Where am I?" Noah murmured. His voice sounded strange in the empty silence.
He stood up and dusted himself off. His body felt different, heavier yet powerful, like sothing inside him had changed without permission. When he raised his hand, faint black lines flickered under his skin for a mont before fading.
