The gray, hazy aura contained within that radiance instantly corroded the front-row chanical Warriors into rust and slag!
With the Taichu Qi augnting the giant axe in Zhan Yun’s hand, a gray halo flowed along the edge of the axe blade. Her figure flashed, and she was already in the center of the chanical legion’s formation, axe light sweeping out like a full moon.
"Sky Splitting Slash!"
Wherever the axe light passed, space was neatly sliced open like thin paper.
Dozens of chanical Warriors in the front ranks were cleaved in half at the waist, and the cross-sections were not flat, clean tal, but instead displayed an eerie chaotic state.
Whether it was the tal on their bodies or the core processors within, all were reduced to their most basic particles, drifting in the Void.
Zhan Feng followed right after, both fists wrapped in Taichu Qi as he slamd them into the ground.
The Power Dao combined with the Chaotic Aura, forming rippling shockwaves that spread out in circles.
The chanical Warriors affected appeared intact on the surface, but their internal structures were completely shattered by the Taichu Law in an instant, collapsing like sand sculptures.
"So this is the Taichu Law!"
Zhan Feng laughed loudly. Wherever his fists’ wind swept, chanical Warriors fell in swathes. His combat strength had improved significantly after entering the Deep Space Sea; compared to the Geniuses captured by the chanical Mother, he was far, far stronger.
"It’s a pity no real powerhouse has shown up—only these puppets. It’s honestly a bit unsatisfying!"
The chanical Mother hovered at the rear of the battlefield. No expression could be read on her silver-white face, but the flow of data in her eyes clearly sped up.
She raised her right hand; her palm opened up a circular hole, and dozens of tallic spheres flickering with silver-white light flew out one after another.
"Initiate tactical protocol, switch to annihilation mode."
The spheres unfolded mid-air, transforming into devices composed of hundreds of prisms. Blue rays shot out between them, linking together into a massive three-dinsional grid.
Within the area covered by the grid, space began to undergo subtle changes, becoming heavier, like a mountain pressing down on the trio’s bodies. Even the circulation of Laws within their bodies was hindered—Cultivators called this Law Suppression.
Jiang Shu frowned, holding the Desolate Star Halberd horizontally before his chest.
"Careful, this is the chanical Clan’s space-altering technology!"
"They’ve altered the spatial structure of this region!"
The chanical Clan also cultivated Laws, but their terminology was very different from that of the Human Clan, leaning far more toward the technological side, as if they wished to realize technological cultivation—yet had never found the proper True Path.
Zhan Yun was in the midst of a killing frenzy when she suddenly felt her axe grow incomparably heavy.
She looked down and saw the Taichu Qi on the axe blade being slowly siphoned away by those blue rays.
What was even more terrifying was that her movents had beco sluggish, as though she had sunk into an invisible mire.
"Brother, sothing’s wrong!"
Zhan Yun shouted loudly to Zhan Feng, who was not far away and also slaughtering with great relish,
"These devices are changing the space in this area!"
Zhan Feng also sensed sothing amiss. His Power Dao, which should have been unstoppable, now felt like it was punching into cotton, with three to four tenths of his full strength being nullified.
Worse still, the wreckage of those downed chanical Warriors began automatically reconstructing, forming new combat units.
"Brother Jiang was right—these puppets have no life at all; they’re rely consumables!"
Though all made of tal, these humanoid chanical fighters had no Spiritual Wisdom; they had simply been manufactured and loaded with combat modules as puppets. To true mbers of the chanical Clan, they were like humans and their dosticated pets.
Both were forged from flesh and bone, yet their value was utterly different.
Zhan Feng frowned, his expression becoming slightly grave as he added, "They’re deliberately wearing down our blood and qi!"
A cold light flashed in Jiang Shu’s eyes as his figure shot toward the chanical Mother. The Desolate Star Halberd traced out a mysterious arc, gray, hazy airflow condensing at the Halberd Tip into a vortex like a miniature Black Hole.
"Your opponent is ."
The chanical Mother did not dodge or evade; her arms crossed before her chest, and two silver-white Light Blades popped out from her wrists.
Light Blades collided with the Desolate Star Halberd, erupting in a blinding storm of energy.
To one’s astonishnt, patterns similar to those of Taichu Qi appeared on the surface of the Light Blades.
"Analysis complete, simulating Chaos Attribute."
The chanical Mother’s voice was icy and precise,
"Your Great Dao is quite interesting, Jiang Shu."
A jolt went through Jiang Shu’s heart. The chanical Clan could actually analyze and simulate a Cultivator’s Laws in real ti during battle!
This was no re simple copying, but an understanding that touched upon the essence of the Great Dao.
As expected of the Mother—after only a handful of clashes with Jiang Shu, she was already able to replicate seven or eight tenths of his Laws.
Aside from her, across the entire Cosmic expanse, there was no second such existence.
The two exchanged hundreds of moves in an instant, each collision triggering a spatial tremor.
The chanical Mother’s computing power was terrifying to the extre. In nanoseconds she could predict every shift in Jiang Shu’s techniques and respond with the optimal counter.
"You are indeed strong, but still not enough."
The chanical Mother suddenly spoke,
"The chanical Divine Country has already recorded your combat data. Next ti we et, we will have weapons prepared specifically to counter you."
As soon as she finished, her figure suddenly turned ethereal, dissolving into countless silver light-points that scattered away.
At the sa ti, all the chanical Warriors on the battlefield self-destructed simultaneously, forming a vast energy storm.
"Watch out!"
Jiang Shu swiftly retreated back to the side of the Wind Cloud Brothers and Sisters, the Chaos Thunder Pool unfurling a protective shield.
After the explosion, only a field of tallic debris remained on the battlefield, without a trace of useful information left behind.
Zhan Yun dropped to one knee, gasping heavily. "These tal lumps are far too cunning."
Zhan Feng’s face was also pale; the recent battle had consud too much of their blood and qi.
Worse yet, the temporary boost brought by the Taichu Qi was fading, and the backlash was beginning to manifest.
This was the source of the chanical Clan’s frightening power.
They could remain extrely calm at all tis, using absolute rationality to assess their situation, and they could access shared platforms of the chanical Clan to retrieve solutions to any problem—making them exceedingly cunning.
Just then, a Communication Talisman tore through the air, unfurling into a light screen before the three of them.
"Sainthood opportunity has appeared at the Eye of the Void, co at once!"
This Communication Talisman ca from another Pride of the War Alliance, a Supre Genius second only to the Wind Cloud Pride.
Zhan Feng’s eyes lit up at once.
The main reason they had co here was precisely the Sainthood opportunity ntioned in the talisman—an extrely rare, heaven-defying opportunity.
But then his gaze dimd just as quickly, and he cursed.
"Damn it, why did it have to be now! In our current state we can’t compete with those people. Even if we force ourselves over there, the chanical Mother will never just sit and watch—she’ll definitely make a move on us!"
Zhan Yun gripped her axe handle unwillingly and said in a low voice, "Are we really going to miss this opportunity?"
Yet when Jiang Shu heard this news, he showed not the slightest reaction.
This was a Sainthood opportunity—an overwhelming fortune that everyone dread of. If one could obtain it, they could truly soar into the heavens in a single leap. Even if, for various reasons, they failed to beco a Saint later, they would at least be guaranteed the Venerable Realm.
But Jiang Shu knew it was all fake—a conspiracy of the black-robed man.
He still did not know what the purpose behind it all was.
"Since we can’t go, then we won’t. There’s no real aning in it anyway. It’s better for the three of us to sit down and discuss the Dao instead."
Jiang Shu put away the Desolate Star Halberd and sat down cross-legged, saying to the other two,
"Let’s discuss the Dao. I’ve gained so insights into the Space Law and would like to ask the two of you for guidance."
Zhan Yun’s eyes brightened as she sat down as well and said, "Brother Jiang, you just said those chanical devices altered the structure of space?"
"Exactly."
"The chanical Clan’s understanding of space differs from ours. They don’t emphasize comprehending Laws; instead, they treat space as programmable paraters."
He drew a line through the Void with his hand, gray, hazy airflow forming a simple model, then continued,
"Take that space-locking technology, for example. In essence, it alters the curvature of localized space, thereby resulting in a change in space."
"Though the path differs from ours, by analogy it can help deepen our understanding of space."
