"It was Matteo’s fault that he lied to us and fooles us till the very end," Tsar pronounced. "If only he had told the truth, he would have been alive. I gave him one chance, Lucius. But he refused to open his mouth and even lied to that he didn’t know you!"

Lucius didn’t say anything as he just blankly stare at him.

"Lucius, forgive us. We are your family. We won’t ever ask for you to join us and let you live the way you want," Tsar asked for one and only chance.

However, Lucius’s next move truly surprised not only him, but the others present in the hall too. He turned to face Vladimir, who was still writhing on the floor in pain.

Lucius pulled him up and punched Vladimir hard before kicking him away. Tsar shouted at him to stop, but it seed like Lucius had fallen deaf. He kept punching Vladimir and finally asked tilting his head while holding Vladimir with his collar, "Did you hit Matteo the sa way, Tsar?"

"Lucius, stop it! I was the one, who killed Matteo, so hit as much as you want," Tsar scread at him, trying to get free from the restraints in his hands, but it was of no use.

"Why? Why should I listen to you? Matteo might have asked to stop, but you hit him until he was dead, didn’t you, before shooting him?" Lucius asked. "I am ruthless, Tsar. I lost the empathy toward my real parents a long ti ago. That’s why you, your father and my mother never mattered to . You all turned into like this," he stated and shoved away Vladimir, who fell to the ground while coughing blood.

Why did you kill Antoine?" he demanded the answer to another question. "Who ordered the hit on my brother? Why were we your targets?"

A bitter chuckle escaped Tsar’s lips before he spat, "Because of your mother." His expression twisted with anger. "She lied to us. She claid she lost her child in a miscarriage. My father searched for her for years desperately. And all this ti, that woman was living a comfortable life under a false identity."

"She’s nothing but a lying bitch. When we found her, she sent a ssage full of deceit. So, the mont we found out the man she was married to, we decided to give her a blow so that she could co to us. However, she never did," Tsar explained everything in detail to him.

Lucius let out a bitter chuckle, his eyes turning dark with resentnt. "And in that accident, I was there too," he said. "Because of you and your father, I spent four months in the hospital. A father lost his son; a child lost his father; a wife lost her husband and a brother lost his older brother. You didn’t just ruin my life—you destroyed countless others."

Tsar exhaled sharply, eting Lucius’s gaze without flinching. "Then punish , Lucius. If that’s what you want. But leave my father out of this," he said.

Lucius scoffed. "No," he replied, his expression hardening. He turned to Roger. "Tie them to the sofa." Then, with a pointed look, he asked, "Did you finish what I asked you to do?"

"Yes, Boss," Roger confird before shoving Tsar toward the chair, securing the restraints.

Tsar struggled but soon realized resistance was futile. "What are you doing, Lucius?" he demanded. "I told you to let this go."

On the other hand, Zayne, tied Vladimir to the sofa, who was already half-fainted.

Lucius stepped closer to Tsar. "No," he said flatly. "You made a mistake by provoking . And now, I won’t stop until I see both of you dead."

Tsar suddenly got the scent of sothing burning and understood what was happening.

"Did you put the estate on fire?" Tsar questioned him, looking at Lucius.

"Yes. You and your father will burn in this fire. Rember all the pain, the sufferings you both inflicted on the others," Lucius said and took a few steps back.

"All of you, leave," Lucius ordered, his tone cold and final.

Luca was the first to step out, followed by the others, though Roger hesitated before finally obeying. As the door closed behind them, silence settled between Lucius and Tsar, broken only by the faint crackling of the growing fire.

Lucius tilted his head slightly. "Do you fear death, Tsar?"

Tsar frowned as his jaw tightened. "What kind of question is that?"

"Answer ," Lucius demanded.

A tense mont passed before Tsar exhaled sharply. "No."

Lucius let out a low chuckle. "Liar. I can see the fear in your eyes." He took a step back, his gaze already turning impassive. "I hope you both rot in hell."

He turned away as the flas consud the room, their fiery tongues licking up the wooden walls. Smoke thickened in the air, and Tsar’s desperate shouts echoed behind him. "Lucius! Free us!"

But Lucius didn’t look back. His figure soon vanished into the swirling smoke.

Stepping outside, he pulled out a lighter—the one Matteo had given him years ago. A small smile played on his lips as his fingers traced it’s surface. He turned to face the mansion, its drenched floors gleaming with gasoline beneath the moonlight.

Slowly, he knelt, flicking the lighter. The tiny fla danced before his eyes.

"Matteo, Antoine. This is for you. May you both finally rest in peace," he murmured.

With a flick of his wrist, the fire t the gasoline. In an instant, flas erupted, racing in perfect circles around the mansion.

Lucius stood there for a mont, making sure the entire mansion would get burned. Finally, he turned around and walked ahead to the waiting car in which Roger was present.

As he entered the car, Roger started the engine and drove off the car from the estate’s premises.

"Boss, it’s done. They’re dead," Roger announced, his voice firm yet respectful. "Your revenge is complete—a final tribute to both your brother and your friend."

Lucius let out a slow breath. A faint smile played on his lips, not of joy, but of long-awaited closure.

"Yes," he murmured, his voice lighter than it had been in years. "And now... I am at peace."

For the first ti in a long ti, his heart felt free.
