Levi and the masked man disappeared, appearing in a dimly lit room,

The man disappeared in a cloud of smoke, leaving Levi in the darkness.

Levi just sighed when he saw this, before focusing on the person in front of him.

"You are here, Quantum," Henry said with a slight giggle.

"Good morning, Principal," Levi greeted with a bow.

Henry just waved it off before getting serious. "Here, this is the mask of deceit, a god tier item that changes the face of the wearer into one type. It can not be removed by anyone except the wearer, too, which makes it very secure." With that little explanation, he threw the mask at Levi casually.

Levi caught it and wore it over his head in an instant. His face changed into a featureless one.

"Imagine the face you want so the mask will transform into it. Also, rember to create a mana signature so it will be bound to you."

Levi nodded at Henry’s instructions and proceeded to follow them.

When it ca to the face, the thought of his previous Life ca to mind. ’I will go with it then,’ he thought.

The mask began to shift, warping and making a weird, tearing noise. One after the other, features began to sprout, staring from eyes, then nose, to hair. After roughly 30 seconds, Levi’s face had completely changed.

His face was pristine and flawless. His black hair was short, stopping near his ears. Black eyes that seem to draw everything closer, and a jawline that looked like Cupid’s arrow.

His entire face was screaming perfection.

His hand moved, creating a mirror from pure ice mana. He looked at his face calmly, nostalgia washing over him.

Although not as perfect as his face here on earth, he was crowned as one of the most handso n.

Even after his parents died, he was able to live without ever thinking of money because rich won were always throwing themselves at him. But he always chose to remain single.

At the thought of being single, his eyes flickered again as he rembered his childhood crush, who died in an explosion with his parents.

"How long will you look at your face?" Henry teased from the side, clearly impatient.

Levi smiled as the ice glass dissolved into cold, blue mist. "I am done now."

Henry nodded before snapping his fingers. A blue light erupted, swallowing both of them.

’The past has faded, the future is the one waiting,’ Levi thought as they vanished from the room.

They appeared in another place, a small corridor where people moved around with chanical accuracy, each one not even stopping; they were either entering the huge circular door at the end of the corridor or leaving the corridor.

But at the sight of the principal, they all halted mid-motion and bowed in his direction.

Henry nodded, then turned back to Levi.

"This place is the exit all imperial spies move through. You can only enter and leave here with teleportation." As he spoke, he began walking forward, towards two people who stood against a wall.

Henry stopped and pointed at one of the won. "This is Alice, the vice-principal. She is usually alone in her office; that’s why she has not been introduced to your class, but in your second year, she will be one of your teachers."

Levi bowed slightly to greet the woman.

She had green, silky hair that stopped at her waist, and her eyes were equally green, and her ears were pointed at their tips.

She carried herself with an irresistible allure that captivated anyone at sight.

She replied to Levi’s greeting with a smile before turning to her side. "This is your teammate, her codena is Ruby," she said, placing a palm on the girl beside her.

Pink hair packed in ponytails, and blue eyes.

But Levi also knew that was not her real face; it was a face made using the mask of deceit.

"Quantum," Levi said, stretching his hand for a handshake.

Ruby accepted it calmly.

"You may leave at once," Henry cut through their brief introduction, unimpressed by their forming connection.

Alice just stared at Henry before shaking her head slowly in disappointnt.

They bid both Henry and Alice Farewell, then walked straight into the round door on the far end.

Henry and Alice stood side by side, watching as both of them faded into the distance.

Levi and Ruby ca out of a small room.

To the far end of the room was a woman with short, brown hair. She wore a noble maid’s uniform and glasses. She sat calmly on a chair, typing sothing into the monitor in front of her.

As she saw them, she did not even bother to exchange pleasantries. "Your codenas, and your team na?" She asked directly, her eyes glued to the monitor in front of her.

"Quantum," Levi replied.

"Ruby," the girl also replied.

The woman continued, inputting their nas into the monitor, before suddenly stopping. She lifted her head slightly, her black eyes eting theirs. "Didn’t you hear all of my words?" She asked with a cold, detached tone. "The na of your team."

Levi and Ruby gazed at each other, surprised. They heard the woman ask for their team’s na, but they thought it only ant their nas.

"QuantumRuby," Levi said quickly, catching even Ruby by surprise.

The woman continued typing again.

"You did not even ask ," Ruby whispered into his ear.

"Well, it’s not like we can change it now. Moreover, it is the combination of our codenas, not like I chose a na that only I wanted."

Ruby ticked her tongue at Levi’s words.

The woman soon finished, then dropped a small, round orb on the table, not caring who took it.

Levi stretched his hand slowly to pick it, but was unexpectedly t with Ruby’s hand that also made a move to pick the ball.

Not caring about their state, the woman began her explanation.

"That is a storage orb that stores a drifter, 1000 zeniths, and a magic locator that shows the map of Zenithra. Those are the basic gears of a tier 1 spy team, and all of it must be returned, except the zeniths." The words fell from her mouth faster than even she could follow. It felt like she had been saying those exact words for centuries.
