The healing treasure that Kai had requested was naturally for Nana, because even after reaching the 1st Echelon Rank, he sohow felt uneasy when it ca to curing her.
Even though he believed he could heal anything, as the skill’s description said, he had a hunch that Nana’s disability had sothing more than ets the eye.
Kai actually detected a little chilling energy that’s almost impossible to detect, as Kai even barely detected it when he pinched her cheeks before. He just had a hunch that he needed an enormous amount of mana for him to be able to cure her using his healing skill.
Even though it was just a hunch, it was better to be prepared fully. That’s why he wanted to ask for a high-level healing treasure just in case he couldn’t heal here even after reaching the 1st Echelon Rank.
"A healing treasure? Is that person being poisoned or sothing? How strong is the person you’re talking about?" Princess Sylvia asked.
Kai smiled bitterly as he waved his hand. "To be honest, it’s not that complicated because that person is my little sister, who’s almost 6 years old, and she’s just a normal person."
Pausing for a second, Kai continued with a serious expression. "However, I need a high-level treasure that’s safe to be consud by a normal person because if it could be healed with just a low-level one, her legs should’ve been healed by my skill, and there’s no need to bother asking you for this."
"Are you a battle priest or sothing similar?" The girl in front of Princess Sylvia asked.
Kai twitched his mouth and looked above as he thought to himself for a second. "Well, technically yes and no."
"Anyway, it’s not important. What’s more important is that I need your help fully in healing her legs. It’s not a difficult request, right?" Kai smiled at Princess Sylvia, ignoring her younger sister.
"It’s indeed not a difficult request, but you have to prove your words first. If you can’t even prove your worth, don’t bla for being ruthless after you just made a fuss like this." Princess Sylvia said it coldly.
"We’ll see." Kai chuckled and started to walk away, then tilted his head as he looked at the girl. "Let’s do it outside of the city since your sister seems to be really eager to try ."
Looking at Kai’s back as he started to head toward the outside of the city with Elias by riding the fire lion, Princess Sylvia petted her young sister’s head softly. "Why do you seem to be angry?"
"Hmmph! That guy is so arrogant! I’ll definitely beat him up until he cries for rcy." The girl pouted and looked at Kai in anger.
"Beat him up silly if you can, if you can’t, then it’s your own fault for being the weak." Princess Sylvia chuckled.
"Do you think he’s really that strong?" The girl asked with a curious expression.
"I don’t know, but I think he’s at least strong enough to be able to fight against you." Princess Sylvia replied with a smile.
"Are you sure?" The girl frowned.
"I’m 90% sure." Princess Sylvia nodded with a smile as she threw a 3rd Echelon crystal on the table and said,. "Let’s go."
She then put her hand on her younger sister’s shoulder and vanished into thin air, followed by the two middle-aged n.
...
A few kiloters away from Dawn City, Kai stood calmly face-to-face with the girl.
’Senior Cang Humao, why don’t you sleep on the lion first since I’m going to have a fight?’ Kai thought to himself, feeling a little bit depressed because from the tiger’s weight alone, his movent speed was slowed down by around 50%.
’I’m just afraid that your sleep would be disturbed and you might even get hurt accidentally.’ Kai tried to persuade the tiger.
’If I get hit, it ans that you’re really useless, and I’ll poke you to death at that ti.’ Cang Humao replied lazily, opening one of his eyes half-heartedly, and slapped his head softly a few tis in annoyance.
Sigh!
’Alright then.’ Kai sighed and looked at the girl. "Are you sure you want to do this?"
"Why? Are you afraid now?" The girl sneered.
"Yes." Kai nodded his head with a bitter smile.
The girl was surprised at first and secretly beca happy inside. However, the happiness instantly vanished and changed into anger when she heard Kai’s next words.
"I’m indeed afraid... I am afraid of humiliating you and accidentally hurting you, that is." Kai shook his head helplessly.
The girl gritted her teeth and unsheathed her sword in anger. "What did you just say?"
Princess Sylvia giggled softly at the side, enjoying the show as she looked at Kai and the little tiger on his shoulder curiously.
"I said I was just afraid of humiliating you and accidentally hurting you in the process. What’s wrong with that?" Kai asked and shrugged his shoulders innocently as if there was nothing wrong with what he’d just said.
"You!" The girl clenched her grip tightly on her sword, then said with a smile full of anger as she nodded her head. "Good... Let’s see if you can still be arrogant after this."
After she said that, her body blurred as she moved with an extrely fast speed and reappeared in front of Kai, swinging her sword diagonally as if she wanted to chop Kai into two.
Kai held the Emberstorm Sword in one hand, posture loose, eyes half-lidded as though he were sparring with a child and not a prodigy.
Every ti her radiant blade flashed in, he tilted his wrist and let blade kiss blade at an angle that robbed her strikes of power. Sparks scattered, yet none of them so much as grazed his clothes.
The girl gritted her teeth in annoyance as she had never expected that Kai was really strong to the point that she felt he didn’t even use his full strength.
