[Milliam's POV:]

.

.

"And that is how much I have collected about this place," I explained to Lord Black Shadow about the information that I have picked up over the centuries.

I left a few things about the Vampire Lord's current affairs as Wesker told to.

It wasn't just because of my clan and the curse, but that Lord Black Shadow was behaving rather suspicious.

"Thank you, young inspector. I really appreciate you quenching my curiosity. I have no more questions left," Lord Black Shadow spoke as he observed with a kind look.

Honestly, his proud and distant gaze felt more ho to than this friendly gaze. It kinda creeped out, even scared to an extent.

"Well. I will take my leave now. Seems like I have a lot of things to do now," he spoke with a refreshing smile as he then vanished from there.

In the empty space, I stood as I gazed at the never ending horizon. There were a few mountains at a distance from here, but that's all.

The black sky and the white ground made sigh as I found myself lonely again. But sothing in my heart tingles a little…

From the monotonous life that I had been living for soti now, I felt like sothing fun was about to begin.

"[Summon: Skeletal Wyvern!]"

I was a necromancer. One of the strongest out there, the Queen of Undead, Milliam Uncleave.

"Let's depart towards the Kingdom of the Vampires," I commanded that skeletal wyvern, as it began forming right under my feet, lifting up in the air and on its back.

And once it ford, it began flapping its wings, flying above in the air, gaining altitude gradually.

The initial jump was a little slow, but then with a dash, it began gaining speed, while I stood on its head, looking at the Inverse World from above.

I could see a few castles on a bunch of white pillars. That was the Kingdom of Gargoyles. It didn't hold any prison of hell, so there were no Hell Guardians present there.

Though it was still dangerous to lurk around that place since it had about a thousand generals and 100s of dukes living there.

That Gargoyles can reproduce faster than any other demons, was one of the contributing factors there.

And then, changing my direction, I then flew even faster towards the Vampire Kingdom.

Even with all this speed, it took about an hour to reach near the location, where it beca faintly visible to the naked eye.

"Fancy seeing you here," a voice sounded from behind, making turn around with an alard face. Cautiously I turned, as I took a first look.

And the second look was nothing but fear. Terror. Horror.

"The Vampire Queen?" I was shocked to see her here.

I an, I was supposed to et her anyway, but to et her this way?

"Is this how the inspectors behave now?" She was a bit amused with . And realizing what she ant, I imdiately got on my knees.

"Millan Uncleave. Soone who has already lost everything and has nothing to lose," she continued as she ca closer to and patted my head slowly.

"I'll get directly to the point. Did that Fate Weaver Wesker send you? He t as well… though indirectly through an illusion. He said that if I cooperate with you, I might achieve what I want," she spoke, making widen my eyes.

That guy, Wesker, he t the Queen of Vampires? But when? Wasn't he busy fighting?

"Judging from your expression, you seem to know sothing," she said as she looked at directly in my eyes. And I gulped as I observed her.

And then. Perhaps it was fear? Or maybe I was chard by her? I ended up telling her everything that I knew about the incident.

At first she was simply listening, but when I reached the part where Wesker protected from sothing that I should not know of, her expression took a 180-degree turn.

"Those… monsters. To think even Black Shadow would be involved with them. Are we really nothing but pawns to them? Sigh…. But I am glad that he is at least free from them…" She faintly smiled in the end, charming a bit more.

"Tell more. What happened next?" Her smile beca apparent. Her expression brightened as she looked at now.

And I began narrating the rest of the events that happened.

I told her about how Wesker asked to hide things about the Vampire Kingdom. And how I am to et with a guy nad Abraham in the castle.

Her expression changed a little, but she didn't speak anything. So, I just continued, while she listened to the very end.

And once everything ended, she was silent as she looked at with an indescribable face.

"Hmmm. Seems like you don't have much information on this either… but since you got involved, it must an there must be sothing about you," she looked in the eye for a mont.

'What next…?' I thought as I looked at her, before she proposed sothing to .

"How would you like to beco one of my personal assistants?"

While it wasn't a bad option at all, I still was put in a sowhat precarious position.

On one side, there was Lord Black Shadow, who I have served over a very long ti.

On the other, there was the Vampire Queen, who was offering a position that I don't even know if I could achieve in this lifeti.

"If you are worried about what Lord Black Shadow will think, then don't worry. I will talk to him," she spoke as she looked at with a slight chuckle.

All the worries that I had vanished in an instant. If she could talk to Lord Black Shadow then I won't feel guilty about it.

And relieved, I smiled as I answered,

"It will be an honor to serve you, my lady."
