Regardless of her disbelief, she did as ordered.

"Awaken... my minions! Your Queen awaits you," she commanded aloud, raising her hand like a regal queen.

Then, using her authority as the Queen of Necromancy, she ordered all the undead in the Ruined Citadel to gather in a line.

"Rawrrr... Grrrr..."

Instantly, the entire ruin stretching across several miles began to stir with ghostly growls and the screams of the dead.

The active ones, the hidden ones, the slumbering ones—every single Undead Knight began to awaken.

Afterward, all of them started marching toward Igaris and Evernight's direction.

The environnt was dark, and thunderbolts streaked across the dark sky, like descending wrath of the heavens.

The ground trembled under the weight of countless armored boots and skeletal feet. A tide of death surged through the ruined pathways, carrying with it the scent of decay and the aura of ancient malice.

Evernight stood tall on the cracked stone steps, her hand still raised, a faint eerie light pulsing from her fingertips.

Igaris watched the scene unfold in stunned silence.

His eyes widened as hundreds—no, thousands—of undead soldiers, knights, archers, erged from crypts, collapsed towers, and forgotten dungeons beneath the Citadel.

They marched with precision, with reverence, as though an invisible chain pulled them toward their queen.

Their glowing eyes locked onto her. The Queen of Necromancy, Sovereign of the Dead.

"So many? I thought there would be just a few hundred," Igaris muttered calmly, though he couldn't quite hide his astonishnt.

Evernight slowly lowered her hand.

The mont she did, the earth beneath them fell silent, as if the entire ruined city held its breath.

She turned to Igaris with a hint of pride in her eyes. "It's nothing compared to my pri."

"I see... You must have been a very well-known figure back then," Igaris said with a casual air, trying to subtly probe for information.

"Hehe... My Liege, if you wish to know my identity, just command to reveal it. There's no need for hesitation. But I must warn you—don't be frightened once you hear of my history and deeds." She said with an evil grin.

anwhile, one by one, the undead began forming a line before Igaris.

The clatter of bones and rusted armor echoed through the ruined citadel, like a grim symphony of chains.

"Ah... Maybe another ti," Igaris replied, focusing on the situation at hand.

He wasn't scared. He just thought it wasn't the right ti.

Instead, he extended his palm toward the undead knight standing before him.

Evernight crossed her arms elegantly, watching the scene unfold with deep curiosity.

"Acquire," Igaris murmured quietly, so quietly that Evernight couldn't catch the word.

But in the very next mont, she witnessed the unbelievable.

Her own enslaved undead who was undeniably loyal to her command, suddenly knelt before the human boy, their will shifting without resistance.

"That's it? You made them your slaves just like this?" she uttered in disbelief, her expression frozen with shock.

Igaris didn't respond, already busy with the task at hand.

One after another, he moved through the line, performing the sa gesture, the sa word, and reaping the sa result.

Each undead that once obeyed Evernight now fell under his control.

How many he could acquire in one session, only ti would tell.

It was finally ti to test the true limits of Infinite Acquisition.

But as he continued, there were no signs of it stopping.

On the contrary, his Power Rank steadily increased, along with his internal energy.

Each ti he acquired an undead, he could feel a surge of energy entering his body, strengthening him with every cycle.

And when it ca to elite-level undeads, the growth was even more intense, surpassing the limits of ordinary Warrior ranks.

Saintess Evernight watched in stunned silence, too surprised to speak or interrupt.

By now, she had realized the boy was no ordinary existence. He was an anomaly.

After nearly two hours, Igaris finally paused, exhaustion creeping over his limbs.

He sat down to rest, but his gaze remained filled with satisfaction as he looked upon his newly ford undead army, now grown to a staggering size of 3,300.

He had acquired every single one of them in a single stretch, and yet, he still felt he could keep going.

From the looks of it, Acquisition didn't rely solely on his internal energy, though it was connected in so mysterious way.

His mind simply couldn't comprehend the full nature of Infinite Acquisition. At least not yet.

Igaris quickly stood up again as there was still one last undead left to acquire.

The Undead Commander.

As he began walking toward it, a sudden warning ca from Evernight.

"Be careful. That one has an exceptionally strong will," she said smoothly.

Igaris paused, glancing at her curiously.

She continued, her tone more serious now, "He is Commander Malthius, the Godslayer.

Trust , he was far more powerful when he was alive, just like . Even after death, it took everything I had to turn him into an undead. If he had still been alive, I wouldn't have stood a chance of taking control."

Igaris listened to her words carefully, taking them seriously. But even so, he wasn't going to back down now.

He stepped forward, reaching out and placing his hand on the cold obsidian armor of the towering commander.

"Acquire."

The mont he invoked his ability, a wave of intense resistance struck him like a storm.

It wasn't just physical. It was ntal, spiritual, a direct clash of wills.

A violent surge of pressure pushed back at him, and Igaris staggered slightly, gritting his teeth.

Once again, Igaris activated Acquisition.

This ti, he increased the intensity of his Unique Platinum energy, just like he had done with Evernight.

A surge of brilliance flowed from his palm, wrapping the towering figure of Commander Malthius in a radiant glow.

The resistance he felt monts ago began to crack and crumble under the weight of his strengthened energy.

Then, a familiar chi echoed in his mind as two system ssages appeared before his eyes.
