“Since you seem to know won so well and are daring enough to comnt on my business, why don’t we have you complete the mission alone. Surely you’ll be able to handle what your mouth has sown for you, right?” Scar comnted with a smug smirk on his face.

Initially, Scar intended to revisit the notion of requesting assistance from one of his close comrades. However, Kieran’s whimsical comnt led to a slight change in the quest objectives. Rather than perform them alongside Scar for the highest chance of completion, Kieran’s words compelled Scar to test whether or not he was competent enough to accomplish the assignnt on his own.

“Uh, alone? What exactly am I in store for?” Kieran muttered. Although he asked this question, the quest details more or less gave away what lay in wait for him. By looking at the quest information, this would definitely be the last part of the quest.

‘Thank god it’s only a two-parter,’ Kieran thought while breathing an inward sigh of relief. It wasn’t unordinary for a quest to be dragged on for more than three parts. In fact, Kieran had personally experienced the problematic nature of chain quests. At any rate, those quests were usually vital to an area with an ending that couldn’t honestly be called a conclusion.

It simply led to a much more critical situation!

After soaking in the quest details, Kieran took a mont to recall Isadora’s na. If his promotion quest involved this person, they should undoubtedly have so place in his mory. Any individual related to Scar carried imnse weight in the history and fate of Xenith.

However, the more he thought about it, the more he felt this na wasn’t significant to him. ‘Am I dumb? Why am I not rembering anything about Isadora?’ Kieran muttered to himself.

Even if he didn’t have any noteworthy class in the past and had never visited the Hero’s Sanctuary, as it was one of the few floating holy lands present in Zenith Online, there should have at least been information regarding such a person on the forums.

Alas, left with no other choice, Kieran could only turn towards Scar. “And what exactly would you have do? Don’t be too tortuous now. At least make it sothing attainable.”

“Is all not attainable with enough devotion and tenacity? Nevertheless, your task is simple. It involves these,” Scar said before tightly clenching and then opening his hands. Inside his left palm was a circular bottle with crimson blood that seed to rumble with obscure black, gold, and purplish lightning crackles. Moreover, the bright ruby color would oftentis darken with a shadowy tint.

Conversely, Scar’s right palm held a cylindrical vial with a milky white powder. Its color sat between a pure white and bright cream tint, and just glimpsing at it gave Kieran the impression of zero impurities and boundless power.

The sensation of both these items surpassed any material Kieran had across, including his adventurous past. This was a testant to the rarity of the items because Kieran had co across countless Epic and many Legendary materials. This revelation led Kieran to take a few steps forward in astonishnt.

“Are those Mythic materials?” Kieran muttered while slowly lifting his gaze to et Scar. Despite his usual composure, it wasn’t easy to remain unperturbed in the presence of these types of materials.

“Almost correct. At least one of them is a Mythic material. As for the other, why don’t you inspect them for yourself and see if you can glean its true ranking,” Scar said with an expression that displayed faint praise. He was surprised that Kieran could correctly judge one of the items despite how rare they were amongst Xenith’s general populace.

This was not information a fledgling Adventurer should understand.

anwhile, Kieran’s expression changed considerably once Scar placed the two items on his palm. It was almost as if the items sought to shatter the vials and devour Kieran whole. Fortunately, their containers were not ordinary items.

‘What voracious materials!’ Kieran comnted. At the sa item, information related to both items appeared. However, because Kieran didn’t possess the proper inspection ability, the details aside from the relevant quest information were lacking. Vastly powerful inspection abilities were required to glean information from Epic and higher items.

‘These materials are insane… but I’m more interested in their history. Who or even what the hell is Argexes and who is this Ancient Juggernaut? If only I had the ans to uncover this information,’ Kieran thought with a mixed expression. On the one hand, he was delighted by these materials, but on the other hand, he felt the origins of these items held unntioned importance.

Finally, setting aside his slight frustrations, Kieran looked back at Scar. “The other one is an Ancient material. Do you know where they co from?”

“Their origins?” Scar repeated with a cryptic smile. “Beco strong enough and then take that question to Lord Agrianos. I’m sure he’ll be willing to reveal the more important information.”

“Tch,” Kieran clicked his tongue in annoyance. Although he doubted Scar would tell him about it, it didn’t hurt to ask.

“Anyway, what you need to focus on now is getting Isadora to complete your elixir of change. She can be quite the uh… difficulty to manage.”

“Who exactly is Isadora?” Kieran asked.

“Her identity is odd. She’s not exactly one of the Mythical Heroes, but her status among our circle is close to the top. She’s our exclusive Alchemist who provides matchless potions,” Scar answered.

Once Kieran heard her information, he felt sothing was odd. ‘Why wasn’t an Alchemist of that scale ntioned in the past? Could sothing important have happened by the ti the ga developed its later stages?’

An Alchemist capable of creating matchless potions and elixirs was an indispensable asset that warranted indefinite protection at all costs. If that was the case, the fact sothing or soone virtually erased her from Xenith’s history in the past ant sothing significant must’ve happened to this precious asset.

The difficulty of this matter was finding out the event. It wasn’t like Kieran could travel through ti at a whim and collect information on events that were undisclosed to the public. Instead, he would have to collect hints and in the best case scenario, develop so kind of relationship with Isadora.

Doing so would open up many opportunities for fateful quests.

“When you say matchless, how matchless are they exactly?” Kieran questioned. Sotis the notion of matchless wasn’t unanimous. There were tis when a weaker person’s idea of being matchless paled in comparison to soone who had reached an outstanding level of strength.

“Well, even the most useless ingredients can be manipulated by her to draw out their extre essence and create quasi-Epic potions and elixirs. Additionally, she is said to be in possession of so unique talent and item,” Scar answered.

Kieran fell silent and blinked wordlessly. If Isadora were truly capable of what Scar claid her to be, her worth was countless tis greater than he assud. As a result, Kieran’s first instinct was to seek her out.

“Is she inside the Hero’s Sanctuary?”

“Of course, she has an entire wing dedicated to her cause. Follow the scent of herbs, fruits, and many other unusual aromas, and you’ll arrive at her abode. But, heed my warning; you will fail miserably if you’re too forceful. Not only is that woman not weak, but she isn’t soone that anyone can take advantage of.
