The fruits broke apart, their seeds falling to the ground and instantly sprouting into more twisted trees that moved with a life of their own only to attack anything in sight.
The roots of these new trees snaked through the ground, attacking Chiron, Carla, and the wounded Hunter.
Chiron and Carla displayed remarkable agility, dodging the roots again and again.
One root latched onto Carla’s palm, and without hesitation, she decisively cut off her arm from the elbow to prevent the growth from spreading.
Hunter, trying to escape, opened a shadow pool to hide within. But the relentless trees pursued him. One root grabbed Hunter by the paw, dragging him out. As it was about to consu him, Chiron waved his hand, sending a massive fireball at the tree and its companions.
The fireball exploded, engulfing the grotesque forest in flas. The trees screeched and writhed as they burned, the fire consuming their unnatural forms.
The atmosphere was filled with an eerie, fearful tension as the dark, mysterious woods echoed with the sound of cracking and burning wood.
"We need to leave this place!" Chiron stated as he rushed in another direction. Carla and Hunter followed along.
This ti around, they stopped at a place close to dark stream.
Chiron frowned on seeing this. He knew not to get close.
the to had talked a lot about this world and the hunger everything that existed within had. Nothing could be trusted.
However, they had been running for so long and needed a bit of rest.
The surface of the dark water already looked like it was about to bubble up.
Imdiately, chiron waved his hand, his blood rushing out of his body as he rune spoke.
Bloody runes danced in the air, so of them rushing to the earth all around them. What he had done was to provide runes that would hide their presence. If there was no presence, they would not be an attack.
The mont he did this, he fell to the ground. A tree branch that had managed to make it to his clothes was wriggling towards the earth.
He waved his hand again, sending fire. It wriggled on the ground a bit, and then it died.
Chiron had not been too sure. However, fire was a strong bane against a lot of wooden monsters. More so since it was dragon’s flas that he used.
Chiron sat on the ground. He really wanted to rest, to close his eyes and have a long sleep, but he knew that this satisfaction was not yet ti.
He looked to his slaves they were all not good in one way or the other.
Hunter was injured badly, and Chiron did not even have his Scabbard anymore if not, he would have healed it. He was sure that the fate System had sothing that would help, but it was definitely going to be pricey.
