Deamon sat in contemplation. Surely, there was the option of just walking in, but in such a place, they would stand out like a sore thumb.
Besides, the mbers of this town known as Aldren were naturally suspicious of any that approached the town.
But then again, that did not an that people did not co and go.
Deamon could not help but think hard. "If the Prince was in this position, what will he do?" he asked himself.
Deamon did not know Chiron all too well, but there was one thing he knew more than anything. And that was the fact that Chiron never set out to win a battle he was sure to lose.
Chiron had led them for a long ti. In that ti, they had learnt a lot. He was no exception.
"Information!" he thought to himself. "we need information. As much as we can get." This was true. They indeed needed information. And this was not just about the superficial details that their scout had helped them get. What they needed was information about inside the town. its lay out. Its guards. their duty shift.
In fact, down to what they liked and disliked.
At the sa ti, Deamon knew that they did not have enough ti to say that they wanted to know all that was necessary about the town.
The problem was the fact that they was just not enough ti for it all. Chiron usually had up to a month or at least weeks to co up with the plans that he was going to use. All they had was a few days at most.
Just then, his eyes caught a sight in the distance. It was what appeared to be a rchant cart. It was pulled by so horned Core beast horses.
Deamon’s eyes glead as he thought up a plan in his head.
With what he was about to do, if Chiron was here, he would have been impressed.
Deamon called his n together as he explained the plan.
Firstly, they tracked the in and outflow of rchants into the town. this took so ti, about two days to be exact.
rchants usually had guards with them. However, with the quality of guards that they carried, it was easy for one to know the quality of goods.
Deamon’s attention was not one that was most expensive. It was also not on one that was least expensive.
Just around the middle was okay by him.
Then he divided his n into three groups. One group would assault the rchant and kill all the guards, as well as kill as much as possible so within the rchant group.
While the second group consisting of only two to three people would act like travelers going through the road that would see the rchants in trouble and hurry to save them. Of course, one of the ’saviors’ would die, while the other one would get badly injured.
After which, he would be helped by the rchants into the town as one who was very injured.
This plan worked like a charm. If Chiron had seen it, he would have tagged it playing good cop, bad cop.
With this plan, Deamon was able to fix one of his n into the town. Naturally, he was given good dical attention. Of course, the injuries were indeed true. After all, to be able to deceive the enemy, one must first be able to deceive themselves.
This was a lesson Deamon learnt from Chiron after seeing what he did to the Chanland kingdom.
For this reason, this so called ’wounded savior’ was given stab, and cut wounds all over his body. However, Deamon made sure that the wounds did not tamper with any vital organs. Also, they was not going to be need to totally remove his shirt as he was not in possession of a core on his chest.
For this, to-be-wounded-savior, extra red powder to cover his human scent was given. After which he was used for this mission. Of course, this was just the first stage of the mission.
This mission was more complicated than that, but this would ensure that eyes were not on him once he was within the town.
Deamon, being the leader of this mission, took up the task of being the ’savior’.
He sacrificed his own body for the opportunity to infiltrate the town. He did it this way, because he could tell in his heart that this was exactly what a person like Chiron would do. He was that dedicated to the mission.
Of course, this act instantly won the respect of the n he led.
Deamon was carried inside the town, and dical treant started imdiately. All the while, the rchant, a man well known within the town, spoke of Deamon’s bravery and how he even jumped in front of a blade to save his life.
There was no age and no ti that Heroes were not admired. Even better, one willing to give his life for another was admired.
The facility Deamon was taken to was a small clinic. It was actually the only clinic in the town, and for days, he was attended to by a beautiful fox lady.
Her na was Isabella.
Isabella was truly kind, and during the few days that Deamon was here, sothing unexpected happened. He actually started to like her. of course, they were others that courted her, but a natural attraction had ford between them after she had told him of how her father who was a rchant had died at the hands of bandits, and that her life had been saved by so passerby.
Because of such a past event in her life, she easily admired Deamon. And soon, from little flirty looks here and there. A lingering touch here and there, a dark night of intense passion blood between them...
