If even this off-spring had no talent, he would use various spells to transform these mating ducks and the new ducks into sellable ducks, which he then gave away.
Fortunately, raising 10 ducks gave him 30 strands in total, allowing his expenditure of 30 strands every month.
This way, at least he didn’t need to worry about wasting his saved up strands.
He did such a thing because bloodline is generally best inherited in the first two generations. The third generation will show many signs of bloodline degeneration.
